College in London

The Part 19

Me and Gavin's brother finally got home together. In the middle of the trip, Gavin did not immediately take me, but he took me to go to the park he had been invited to. We sat next to each other in the garden chair.

“Not feeling yes, soon two semesters.” Brother Gavin sighed rather long.

“Iya,” sahutku brief. Brother Gavin just smiled and did not say, I was silent too. After a while we kept quiet, Brother Gavin spoke up as well.

“You ... don't want to say something?” tanyanya opened a new chat.

“Said something?” I asked back.

“Iya. What cake, so. Second semester soon.” Brother Gavin seems to code, but I don't understand what he means.

“Ya, it's soon semester two. So why?” I was half-thinking.

“What's up with semester two?” my continue.

“Typically what to try in semester two?” Gavin asked back. On her lips was a streak of a sweet smile that decorated her handsome face.

“What yes?” I was half-thinking. The more I come here, the less I understand what Gavin meant.

“It seems like nothing special in semester two,”.

“There are, soon you will have a lot of holidays,’.

“Lah, mah holiday every Sunday is also a holiday,”.

“Not that I mean.” I see Gavin's face now looking at me seriously. Even a small smile was not visible anymore.

“Keep what?” my many.

“I mean, soon I'll have a test. You don't want to tell me anything?” Gavin's tone sounded slightly elevated.

“Ooh it, said from earlier dong, I can immediately understand.” I smiled a little towards Brother Gavin.

“You don't want to say something?” tanyanya.

“Indeed, Brother wants me to say what?” my many.

“Actually, I'll go far and long.” There was a moody hue on his face.

“How long will Brother go?” aska I want to know.

“I can't confirm it,” he replied.

“I'll go to college in London after graduating High School,”. Hearing Gavin's words, I became silent.

“Em .. so yes.” I nodded slowly.

“What majors?” my many.

“I want to major in law. When I was a kid, I wanted to be able to help others. I want to be able to give justice to others, to help the weak, and to be oppressed by the greed of evil. I want to make my life worthwhile not for myself, but for others as well. And ... it seems .. becoming a prosecutor is the right decision,” he explained.

“Let me be far away, I beg you, don't forget me. I may rarely return to Indonesia, but ... keep in good communication.” Gavin looked at me with a smile.

“Iya, I .. will not forget it. I hope that our friendship will continue even if we are far apart. I agree ... keep in good communication,”.

“Because it's Brother's decision, then I'll support it.” I smiled broadly at Brother Gavin.

“Spirit!” I clenched my fingers, and lifted them up to my elbows.

“I ... will miss you,” he said half muttered. Hearing that, I felt a bit surprised.

“What?” many ensure.

“What?” Gavin asked back. His face showed a look of confusion.

“Kakak just said what?” askaku.

“Says what? Did I say something just now?” Gavin asked back.

“I heard it, Brother said something. It's just, I didn't hear clearly.” I kept pushing him.

“You misheard the times, maybe it's just your feelings. If I say something, it's obvious. You are sitting next to me.” Brother Gavin looked at me with a big smile.

“What is it, I misheard?” I muttered while tidying my hair.

“Oh yes, I want to apologize to you Ryn.” Gavin looks serious.

“Apologies? For what?” my many.

I was quiet for a while, “I've forgotten that. Come to think of it, Yelena was not entirely wrong. He didn't know what the truth was like, it was natural to talk like that. I guess, not only Yelena would say that. Anyone would have said the same thing, if in Yelena's position. I should be the one apologizing to Brother, all this time I was like hanging with Brother. Brother always helps me, whereas I .. can't do anything for Brother.”

“Do not say that. I did not expect anything at all, for I did so sincerely with my own intentions. You want to be friends with me, that's enough. Never blame yourself again, your words are like self-blame. I told you no, ‘We didn't plan all this, but God's scenario planned all this.’ so don't torture yourself by blaming yourself.” Brother Gavin gave an affirmation.

“Don't avoid me anymore, I don't want to just because of that our relationship is fractured.”.

“Not going,” sahutku.

“I will not break our relationship. I don't want to talk about it either, I want to forget about it. Yes, I want to forget it.” I took a short breath, then smiled a little.

“I agree,” says Gavin while smiling.

*****

After semester one passed, finally semester two began. The activities of the students of class XII also began. Now, they are more active in studying to prepare for the graduation deciding exam. The library also has more residents who keep alternating coming lately. Teachers are also more attentive to students in class XII and are busy taking care of exam preparation. On the one hand, this kind of condition is advantageous for us as a younger classmate. This second semester, we have more opportunities for school holidays, so we can take advantage of this condition for home activities. Either just spend all day sitting at home, or go out with friends.

*****

These few days I have been very relaxed putting together activities due to school holidays. Usually, I help my mom at the restaurant, but today I chose to spend time at home. Simple, just watching television. Don't know why, it feels like relaxing at home. Seeking tranquility in my own way.

It's been since morning I've been busy watching television, changing channels looking for the show I want. Suddenly I heard the sound of the living room door ringing. Looks like someone came in, I got out of my seat and went to the living room to check who came in. And right, as I thought, someone came in. From a distance, I saw someone behind me wearing a thick jacket taking off my helmet. His stature was not foreign, but because it turned back to me it became unclear.

“Sister,” I said when I saw the face of someone who turned back to me turned around.

“Why? Why look at me like that?” asked Alby when he saw me looking at him.

“I think who was, it was Brother who entered,” I said then went back to watch television.

“What if I? Wrongly? This is my home too, right?” Brother Alby followed me and sat down next to me.

“Nothing is wrong, it's just that I was ...” I stopped my words when I smelled new clothes.

“New Sister package yes?” I asked half.

“If yes why?” Alby asked back.

“Simply, I was a little pangling,” I replied.

“Why? More charming, huh? I guessed it, I am indeed getting more charming days.” I nodded slowly while looking at her a bit cynically.

“Iya, charming. It's just that the capacity is not enough to be able to captivate the heart of women,” teaseku.

“Don't mock me, you're the one who doesn't know. Outside there are many who are interested in me,” said convincing. I didn't answer him, just put my lips away for a while and focused on the television.

“Oh yes, you are not in school? It's not a holiday.” Brother Alby grabbed the remote that was on the table.

“No,” sahutku brief.

“Good.” Alby's brother clapped his hand. There was a smile on his lips.

“What?” many ensure.

“What's good?” my continue.

“Nothing. I mean ... nice show.” Alby pointed at the television.

“Eh, later tonight you have no event?” tanyakanya.

“Why?” I'm back to asking.

“Let's go to the movies,” take him.

“Go to the movies?” many ensure.

“Not wrong? What is this, the tumbens are taking me away. There must be something, right?” many wonder.

“Not wrong right, a Brother invites his Sister to go watch? You are too suspicious, just say it if you don't want.” Alby looks a little disappointed.

I let out a short breath, “Yes, yes. I'll think about it later.”

“Don't later, I need certainty now, it's important for me,” he urged.

“Confidential? What kind of shit is this? Important what, this is just a matter of watching a movie.” I smiled wryly at Brother Alby.

“Ya already if you don't want to, I don't lose.” Brother Alby got up from his seat and went to his room.

“Yes, all right, I want to. I'll go see a movie later tonight,” I said half-calling. Hearing my call, Brother Alby stopped his steps that had arrived at the door of the room.

Brother Alby turned to me and smiled, “Okay, at seven o'clock we leave.” Then he immediately entered his room and closed the door loudly.
