Wrong: The Brief In The Right Heart

Wrong: The Brief In The Right Heart
Morning Incident

Feeling that his existence was so disturbing Afriz's comfort, Zaya left. Following wherever his feet wanted to step, to avoid the tension-filled air this morning.

Whether Zaya had let out a rough sigh and waited worriedly to hear the voice from her husband, she could not count it. He wanted to ask a lot of questions, really.

But he could only bite his lower lip restlessly. Too afraid to speak a lot, given how Afriz responded to him earlier. He could only wait, though he did not know what to wait for.

If only last night he had just been silent and resigned to accept Afriz's treatment of him, maybe this freezing would not have happened. Had he only enjoyed Afriz's fondling of him last night without much talk or question, this sort of situation would not have dominated.

"Mas, stop" Zaya said in a choked voice.

The words were so soft, it was appropriate Afriz did not hear.

Zaya repeated her words even louder. She thrashed, as her husband locked her movements. Then, he managed to get away after exerting all his strength to escape.

Afriz's eyes really don't understand what his wife means. "Zayya?" her tanyanya was accompanied by a gaze that was still full of passion.

"Mas, I ...." Zaya gulped, not understanding what she had to say. "Please don't come any closer!" the screams are out of control.

"Yes, Honey?" call Afriz, with outstretched hands and a still clueless look.

Zaya sobbing. His clothes he tightened again, then pulled a blanket to cover part of his body. Then, without having time to digest what happened, Afriz had already turned around and left her in this room.

The figure did not return, nor did he know that Zaya had been crying for hours since she left without hearing an explanation.

Actually, there is nothing wrong with a husband asking for inner rights to his wife. There was nothing wrong with Afriz's will to have his body intact, while Zaya herself was determined to give what Afriz wanted, on that very night.

However, what happened last night came from his instincts. Everything was purely started from Zaya's fatigue alleviating her countless heartbeats. It all really started from his failure to control the strange vibrations that were momentarily propagating all over his body, to make his nerves seem to stop functioning normally.

"Zoe."

Zaya did not immediately return the call. He was still waiting for what would come out next from Afriz's lips that began to open. Hoping that her husband would settle this predicament before leaving.

"Mas depart. Assalamu'alaikum."

Forced to swallow the disappointment, Zaya nodded, returned the greeting, and smiled as she could. Don't want much hope. Maybe they should silence each other if Afriz wants that.

...***...

Married to Zaya, on the one hand was a blessing for Afriz. Although accompanied by awkwardness, for some reason, since they were married, the sustenance for their small family always came from an unexpected direction. Zaya is not a woman who likes to demand material, never openly pray in front of Afriz to show the impossibility of a wife's prayer.

"What don't you want to buy, then? Veil, maybe? Or clothes? We can find it."

"No need, Mas. This is enough. I'll just need some pants on Faiz's shirt."

"Yes, maybe you need new clothes too."

"No. My clothes still fit everything, really."

"Related?"

"Yes, sure. After all, without buying new clothes I still can wear clothes that fit as well as decent. Different from Faiz, whose clothes are too small. Mas ngajak I buy clothes for Faiz aja I already seneng," cengir Zaya belied their conversation before finally Afriz relented, then headed to the cashier.

He's not a stupid man who knows nothing about women, considering there were many women before Zaya who used to be close to him. Even the women he knew, even though status was still 'girls', still not so much; not as innocent as his wife.

Afriz himself until now did not even believe that there was Faiz among them, if he saw the look of Zaya's face that was so shady and calm, and how the reaction when tempted.

This is supported by his fishing since last night and last night. But the target of his temptation was completely unaffected by his touches. Even if it is always wrong to make physical contact with him, it is another thing.

Moreover, during the nearly three months of living under the same roof, she had never found Zaya breastfeeding Faiz. Toddlers who live with him and his wife more often drink formula milk, warm tea water or water, not ASI.

"Faiz has stopped drinking breast milk since the age of 6.5 months, Mas" Zaya said when she asked. "In fact, even if you still drink breast milk, it is not possible that Faiz**** in front of Mas," the woman added.

"Why is it not possible? If he is**** in front of Mas, Mas will also not be pengen, even though it can be tasted directly from the source," joked Afriz at that time.

Then, when his laughter was answered with laughter Zaya who sounded so discordant. The young woman seemed to not understand the direction of their conversation, although actually what Afriz said was very important. A very unlikely reaction occurs to a mother of one child.

"Honored passengers, welcome to Yogyakarta Special Region. We have landed at Yogyakarta International Airport, we invite you to stay seated until this plane really stops perfectly in its place."

The seatbelt lights of the plane had been extinguished, not until two minutes after the flight attendant had completed her announcement. Afriz's flight this time is completely over. The man had arrived in Kulon Progo, a part of Yogyakarta Special Region Province, where his father had come from.

The mobile phone that Afriz had set to become airplane mode, now raises some notifications from the chat application he installed. The young man's eyes caught one conversation coming from his wife's number.

[Sorry for last night. I was wrong. But if I could find a defense, I should have prayed last night. Again, sorry.]

Afriz's left eyebrow raised, then his lips smiled. That means, Zaya doesn't have a problem with what happened last night. He was actually not too concerned, even though he was responsible. It's just, I don't know.

[Yes]

That's the only payoff, because he doesn't know what else to explain.

Then Zaya just sent an emoticon almost crying.

[Why?]

[Mas balesnya. Still mad?]

[Not really]

Soon, there was another reply coming in. [They're here?]

[Newly get off the plane]

There's no reply yet. However, before Afriz pocketed his phone, a new message from his wife had already entered.

[May all be well, yes. Again, sorry for last night]

This time Afriz no longer replied. Just saying it in the heart.

Perhaps his departure from home was indeed required by the two of them to start thinking about all of this. Both need their own space to organize their emotions and feelings.
