Finding Cost

This morning Rena went to the office with a new spirit. I should be able to make Dad and Mom proud somehow, which I definitely have to work well.

Rena's phone reads.

"For Bagas".

" Tumben called in the morning? "

"Rena, can lunch come out to eat? ask Bagas.

"Sorry Bagas, I can't, because I'll be allowed to find a hostel near my office".

" Yes, I'm with ya".

"Ok, but you're not papa? I don't want to trouble you".

"I haven't worked yet, my parents asked me to go to college, after work, so I still have time". Bagas smiled, finally Rena wanted to be accompanied by herself to find a boarding house.

Rena had asked permission from Ms. Cindy to come out for a while during the break to look for a hostel. And Miss Cindy let after Rena give a reason why she had to hostel.

At 12:01, Bagas sent a message to Rena that he was across from his office.

Rena immediately rushed out and approached Bagas.

"Bagas, I'm just looking for a hostel near here, so I'm not too far away from work".

"Yes, I've been looking around some boarding places not far from here. There are 1 that I think you definitely like because the place is comfortable and also not too expensive. You want to look there?" ask Bagas

Rena weighed the words of Bagas, because only 1 hour of rest and he did not want to be late to come to the office even though Ms. Cindy had allowed.

Rena got on the motorbike and they headed to the boarding place called Bagas. 5 minutes later they arrived. After meeting with Ms. Kost and paying her 1/2 of the rent, Rena said goodbye because she had to return to the office immediately. Bagas is glad Rena finally boarding at the place she was looking for. If the walk takes 10 minutes to get to his office.

Rena immediately left Bagas and went into his office. A lot of work that Rena has to finish plus there is a memo on her desk from Bu Tiwi to face her at 3. What's up dad? Rena was confused but soon finished her work.

3 Rena was already sitting in Bu Tiwi's room, but Bu Tiwi was not yet seen and Rena was waiting while wondering. Not how long Bu Tiwi came with one of the women who was about 50 years old. Bu Tiwi sat down and next to him the old woman was smoking.

"Rena, meet me, this is Ms. Tita. Tita's mother is the owner of this company. I call you because one of Bu Tita's secretaries resigned, and Bu Tita saw the results of your work during these weeks from the report given by Bu Cindy. Starting next week, you're working as a secretary for Bu Tita, on the 5th floor".

"I'm Rena, Ms. Tita, I just worked here. Thank you for the opportunity given to me", Rena's eyes glazed over

Rena went back to her room and Miss Cindy was already sitting at Rena's desk. Then Miss Cindy congratulated Rena. Rena smiled happily because office friends and superiors liked the work of Rena who had not been there for 1 month.

Rena immediately cleaned her desk, because it was still new so there were not many items on her desk. Only the computer that Rena uses for work and stationery is always carried.

The clock 6.15 Rena's phone rang

"Rena, I'm in front of your office, I'm waiting".

"Yes Bagas, just a second yeah, I'm out".

Rena immediately approached Bagas who was waiting on his motorbike.

" We'll eat first Ren".

"Sorry Bagas, I can't, because I ate with Om, Aunt and Novi at home. Better take me home. I'll still live with them".

"OKs". Bagas took a long breath. It's hard to talk to you Ren.

Rena felt her phone vibrate and she asked Bagas to stop for a moment.

"Renaa, Mama called me earlier she said, can't have dinner because she has to have a caesarean section of her patient, keep Papa still meeting, I want to go with my High School friends. So you eat out. New mom tell me. I was picked up by my friend. Bye Rena's". Novi called telling her that today she could eat out.

"Ok Novi, thank you".

"Bagas, Om and Aunt also Novi do not eat at home because there is still busy. You still want to take me to eat?"

"By pleasure, yuk Rena? " Bagas smiled happily.

30 Minutes later, they arrived at the restaurant. Rena and Bagas entered then Bagas ordered food. Rena thought that the money was enough to pay for food, because she had paid the boarding money and there was still money left until she paid later. Rena has to be irit.

After eating, Rena wants to go home soon, but Bagas holds her back.

"Rena, I'd like to talk for a second". Bagas's face is a bit clear

I have to go to school, even if I live with Om and Aunt, but I don't want to trouble them. I've been with them since I was a kid. You don't know the background of my life. Rena took a deep breath before continuing her talk

"Honestly, I haven't thought about dating yet, because I want to prove to my family that I can make them proud. Thank you so much for expressing your feelings to me. If we are married, we will definitely be dating. It's better that we're friends now and we're friends".

"Ok Rena, I understand, we're friends and we're not just friends anymore and I can pick you up?" ask Bagas
