I'm Vania..

A piece of the story I want to tell for the people who were once abandoned.

To Alif who will always be in my heart.

I have a boyfriend who loves me so much, and I love him so much. We've been together for almost four years.

We both even planned a wedding that would take place right at our birthday celebration which happened to be only one day apart. Same month but with a different year.

I don't know where to start telling you all this. It was complicated, it hurt, because I couldn't accept that this was reality. A very bitter reality, a chest-stifling reality.

"Darling sleep, it's a shame." said Alif from behind a phone call.

"Yes.. Here I'm going to sleep.. You are also sleeping." replied Vania who was laying down and hugging her roll with a smile.

"I'll be back to sleep, want to do the task first bit." said Alif again.

"OK. but don't stay up.. Abis finished immediately rest.." said Vania again, still with a smile blushing to hear the voice of the heart worship.

"OK baby.. Yay, good nite..."

"Good nite's..."

"Eh sun first.."

"Mwah.."

"Again.."

"Mwah. mwah.."

"You too.."

"Love you.."

The last conversation still lingers in my memory. The last time the guy called me was like we used to every night. If I knew it was the last one, I wish I was dreaming and I chose not to wake up again.

When I woke up from sleep and didn't get a text notification or a missed call, I just commented on the smile. At first I thought he was just busy with his duties on the campus. But in fact until this moment the man did not appear either.

Where did you go, honey? is that how you left me here alone? You even disappeared without a trace that could be a loophole for me to look for. You are really evil!! For three years you have accompanied me with the joking laughter and sad joy that we have been through together. Doesn't your heart ache like I'm in pain half-dead?

I still hold all the trinkets you give, as a sign that we are lovers who will never be separated.

"For Vania and Alif." he said while giving a pair of bracelets bearing the names of Vania and Alif engraved to connect from one bracelet to another. Signifying that it needs each other to be beautiful. "Here's his hand.."

Vania only smiled when she saw her Alif__ pairing the bracelet, the same as Alif who also smiled when pairing the bracelet. "The bracelet is good, I like it." said Vania as she looked at the bracelet that is now attached to the wrist.

"We will be rich in this bracelet, need each other and complement each other. in order to be beautiful." said Alif while sticking a bracelet in his hand and a bracelet in Vania's hand, making the carving so fused and more beautiful. "Anyway, we will forever be us.. I love you fools." he added, affixing a sweet kiss.

Vania is a woman who has just finished her High School education, she intends to enter the same university as Alif, her lover.

Three years they have been together, weaving love and knitting happily in the shade of love. Together since they've been sitting in High School. Until finally Alif left without permission, leaving without explanation.

The story tells how the struggle of a Vania healed from a wound that almost left her out of breath, how she stood up and managed to love herself.
