Apologizing

Abiyasa sat beside the bed where Ajeng lay, he placed his phone on a small table beside the bed and started a gentle massage on Ajeng's back. She conveys loving words and warmth in Ajeng's ears, taking her mind off the traumatic event Ajeng experienced some time ago.

"Honey, you have to be calm, I'm here with you, you're safe" Abiyasa said gently.

Ajeng responds to the massage with deeper breaths and slowly feels more relaxed. Abiyasa changed his massage to his wife's neck and shoulders, relieving tension and completing his massage by rubbing a fragrant therapeutic scented lotion onto her tender skin that began to feel more relaxed.

"How are you feeling, baby? Are you feeling better now?" ask Abiyasa still by massaging slowly.

Ajeng nodded with a faint smile on her lips, feeling the comfort and happiness brought by the presence of her husband, Abiyasa. She knew that she could always rely on her husband to support and keep her in any situation, just like now.

Abiyasa kissed Ajeng's forehead gently. "You can sleep comfortably now, baby. I'll always be here for you."

Ajeng responded by smiling and closing his eyes, feeling the calmness that brought him into a deep sleep. Abiyasa placed his hand on the stage of Ajeng's delicate hand and sat down beside him, watching his sleep with love and affection.

Abiyasa kissed Ajeng's forehead longer, after Ajeng fell asleep in his comfortable sleep.

After Ajeng went to sleep, Abiyasa took his phone back. He checks Indra's job, which he assigns out of town to find his uncle, Rian, who runs away with Elok.

In fact, Elok once told Abiyasa, if he himself realized that he had been involved in the wrong and immoral activities, namely dating his own boss, Rian. He actually loves Abiyasa..

Elok felt that he had been caught in a complicated trap and did not know how to solve it.

On the one hand, Elok loves Abiyasa and feels close to her, but on the other hand he cannot ignore his obligation to help Rian. She feels tied down to the complicated relationship between trust, duty, and love.

But in situations like this, there are often no clear right or wrong answers. Every choice made has complex and potentially dangerous consequences. Elok had to make tough decisions and weigh carefully the risks and benefits of each option available, despite some advice he actually justified. However, still every time he wanted to realize it, he had his own difficulties.

Today Ajeng invites Abiyasa to go to his mother's grave, after he can master himself and his emotions. He wanted to apologize to Abiyasa for all the mistakes made by his mother so far.

Abiyasa understood very well how difficult it was for Ajeng to apologize to him and deal with his past memories. So he tried to give support to Ajeng.

Now the two go to the tomb of Ajeng's mother, Endang, in a public cemetery not too far from his house which is currently under construction after a fire a while ago.

Once there, Abiyasa allows Ajeng to sit near his mother's grave while giving her the space and time she needs to remember and offer her apology. He stood behind Ajeng in a calm and attentive manner.

"I'm sorry, Mas Abi," Ajeng said in a soft voice and cried softly.

"Don't worry, honey. I've forgiven you and you also have to forgive yourself" Abiyasa said gently, stroking his wife's hair.

Ajeng turned his head towards Abiyasa and thanked him with a small smile. She refocused herself on her mother's belly button, then said a few words to pray for her mother.

"Mas Abi, I would like to apologize for all the mistakes and mistakes my mother has ever made to offend you, and all her harsh words so far. Forgive my mother, forgive her." He apologized on behalf of his mother.

Abiyasa smiled at Ajeng's apology for Endang. "Honey. I've forgiven all of Mama Endang's mistakes and everything that's happened. The most important thing now is that we mend our relationship and try to respect each other."

"Thank you, Mrs Abi. I feel guilty and want to fix everything. I promise there won't be any more of the same mistakes going on. Forgive my mama." Once again Ajeng apologized on behalf of Endang.

Abiyasa smiled. "Your promise is enough, baby. Now, we pray for the spirit of your mother. May he settle down there and we can continue our lives just fine."

The two then prayed together in front of the Endang Pusara, begging for forgiveness in the name of the endang so that Endang could be calmer in nature there.

"I'm always there for you, Ajeng. Whenever you need me, I'll always be by your side."

Abiyasa clasped his wife's hands together, giving her encouragement and support so Ajeng did not feel alone.

In front of her mother's navel, Ajeng again asked for forgiveness directly on behalf of her mother to her husband.

"Hiksss hiks hyks.pardon mama, mas Abi."

Abiyasa hugged Ajeng to calm down. He did not want Ajeng to falter and experience pressure again like yesterday. He began to talk about the memories of the past and how they could build a better future together, without having to reminisce about their difficult times that had passed.

"We will be together for our future. I promise I'll always be there for you."

Abiyasa promises to always support and help Ajeng to break away from the shadows of his past. He wants Ajeng to grow and develop into a stronger and more confident person.

On the way home, Abiyasa and Ajeng held hands. Abiyasa gave a warm smile and said encouraging words to Ajeng.

"Do you want to go somewhere first, baby?" asked Abiyasa, trying to divert Ajeng's attention so as not to grieve.

"My, I'm not going anywhere, Mas Abi."

Hearing the answer given by his wife, Abiyasa actually has the initiative to invite Ajeng to a place that he thinks can be soothing.

"Follow me, huh?"
