Everyone involved, including Abiyasa and Indra, is busy in handling the case involving Rian, because the appeal filed by his uncle Abiyasa, namely Rian, is accepted and will be re-investigated soon. Whereas before, Rian had been decided as a suspect and had served his sentence. But in fact, everything can be smooth with the appeal plan made by his lawyer Rian because of the influence of the money power issued by him.

"So everything's taken care of?" rian asked his lawyer.

"Already, mr. Rian. But for a while, you still remain in custody and can't be outside."

Rian took a deep breath when he heard the answer given by his lawyer. He was disappointed not to be able to do something freely out there, according to what was planned.

"But you don't have to worry. Everything I've arranged in such a way that everything turns around."

Hearing the explanation given by her lawyer just now, Rian looked towards the lawyer with narrowed eyes. He wanted to obtain a certainty that did not make him feel curious.

"Yes, Mr. Rian. Everything's been arranged in such a way by the team."

Without having to wait for the question that Rian asked, his lawyer gave an explanation first because he already knew the cue from Rian's eyes that asked for more explanation.

Earlier, Rian had been found guilty and sentenced by the court. However, his uncle Abiyasa could not accept the decision easily. He appealed the ruling, which was later accepted by the court.

Thus, Abiyasa and Indra also inevitably have to be re-engaged in taking care of the case.

An appeal is a legal process that allows the losing party in a previous trial to apply for the verdict to be re-examined by a court of higher order than before.

"Just calm down, Mr. Rian. Me and the team have prepared everything for our appeal this time."

Hearing the conviction spoken by his lawyer, Rian smiled in satisfaction. He had imagined what it would be like to be free again.

Although Rian had previously been decided to serve his sentence, an appeal made by Rian's lawyer was successfully accepted by the court. This means Rian's case will be re-examined by a higher-level court, and previous rulings can be revised or confirmed.

Rian, however, has a conviction or evidence strong enough to appeal and reassure the court that the previous ruling needs to be re-examined. Although the appeals process did not guarantee a change in the verdict, it did provide an opportunity for Rian to obtain better justice or overturn his sentence if there were compelling reasons.

Rian's lawyer has created defense files that could set Rian free. Abiyasa and Indra, do not want to give trouble to Rian so they do not make a fight for Rian free. Abiyasa thought that his older brother, Aji, was already in his hands, so that his uncle would not be able to influence his older brother anymore. Abiyasa thought that his uncle would take care of his family, his wife and children only, and not interfere in the affairs of abiyasa anymore.

On the other hand, Abiyasa also thinks that he currently has control or influence over his brother, Aji, so that his uncle will not be able to influence him anymore. Thus, Abiyasa hoped that his uncle would focus more on his own family affairs, such as his wife and son, and not interfere in Abiyasa's affairs anymore.

Abiyasa hopes that this situation will subside along with the existence of Aji who is now in his hands. So, he wanted that the appeal filed by his uncle's lawyer, could bring freedom to his uncle as well.

"Indra, I've been thinking about Uncle Rian's case. I don't want to give him any trouble. I want us not to fight the appeal filed by his lawyer."

Indra listened carefully to Abiyasa's words. He wanted to know what his boss wanted.

"What does that mean, Abi? Why not fight that appeal? Is there a reason?" ask Indra.

Indra frowned at the answer given by Abiyasa.

"But Abi, was this a wise decision? The appeal provides an opportunity for Mr. Rian to obtain acquittal or a better outcome in his case." Indra seemed to disagree with the plan made by Abiyasa just now.

"I understand your concern, Indra. But I feel there's a reason to give Uncle Rian a chance. If indeed he is guilty or if there is a strong argument in his plea papers, then he deserves better justice freely. I want to end it all well, if it's for good."

Indra nodded her head at the explanation given by Abiyasa. Prayer knows, if Indra has a soft heart even though said the person who is already sick.

"All right, Mas Abi. If that's what Abi wants, I will respect that decision. I'll tell our lawyers not to fight the appeal and let the legal process work."

Abiyasa patted Indra's shoulder.

"Thank you, Indra. I'm sure we've made the right decision. May this decision bring good to Uncle Rian and help restore our relationship."

Abiyasa and Indra continue to discuss the decision not to fight the appeal filed by Rian's lawyer. Although Indra has concerns, Abiyasa assures that this decision is based on his belief that Aji, Abiyasa's older brother, is now in his hands so that his uncle will no longer interfere in their affairs.

Indra finally agreed to respect Abiyasa's decision, because he knew that Abiyasa must have thought about many things in this situation.

Rian's lawyer, has successfully drafted defense files that are believed to make Rian free of punishment. However, Abiyasa and Indra, having a role in taking care of the case, decided not to give any trouble to Rian by not making any resistance to the files.

They both hope that Rian will soon realize by himself, for all the mistakes he has done.

Unfortunately, what Abiyasa wanted and thought for his uncle was not the same as what Rian himself wanted. His uncle was planning something even bigger, killing Abiyasa and Indra directly with his own hands. Rian was not caught with all his grudges.

"Imagined, you think you can just screw up all my plans? You're the reason why everything's falling apart! I will never stop, and my grudge against you is growing!"

Rian said with deep anger towards Abiyasa, blaming his nephew for all the failures and chaos that occurred in his plan. Rian believes that Abiyasa has been deliberately involved in destroying whatever he has worked for.

"You should realize, Abiyasa, that I won't stop until I see you destroyed! You have soiled my life, and now, I will end your life with my own hands!"

Rian plans to kill Abiyasa and Indra directly with his own hands. The grudge so great in Rian's heart towards Abiyasa, as well as Indra, was so strong that he felt the need to take extreme measures with the assassination plot, taking Abiyasa's life with Indra as soon as possible.

"I won't let you live any longer, if I'm out of here!"

Rian not only has a grudge against them, Abiyasa and Indra, who have meddled in his affairs with Aji. He would devise a much more dangerous plan for the two of them.

In his anger and resentment, Rian revealed his evil intentions towards Abiyasa. He feels that the only way to get revenge is to end Abiyasa's life, showing the world how far he has rounded his resolve for the revenge he has.
