Enmeshed in Love

Enmeshed in Love
Chapter 5

Both of Fatia's palms were affixed to the glass that was still emitting a puff of smoke. The drizzle from dawn made his palms look pale. He was forced to leave the house to the minimarket which is at the end of this road because the equipment and food have been completely exhausted.

Fatia sipped back a chocolate drink that was only slightly reduced. Occasionally staring at the screen of his phone that is quiet from the ringing of the phone, as well as the chat application, maybe because it is now Saturday, where all his friends and coworkers prefer to spend time behind a blanket until the sun appears or quality times with his family.

He looked around the alley at his house. Still quiet and silent. Then staring at the end of the alley that connects with a wider road, looked a few motor vehicles back and forth and a few minutes later the sound of a vegetable seller.

Then, he opened Instagram and left a heart trail on the latest posts from his friends. Suddenly a chat came in from Haris.

H [I miss you. A lot.]

Fatia's face was unable to hide the turbulent euphoria within her chest. However, he only replied with a smiling emoticon and blushing cheeks. Shortly a reply came back.

H: [Where are you?]

F: [Minimarket near the house.]

H: [Tomorrow to see you?]

F: [I can't because tomorrow I want to go to Erika's client location.]

H :[Ok. I'll pick up Monday, you'll be home soon!]

Fatia was silent for a moment.

H : [Haloo??]

F : [Okay.]

H : [I see you on Monday.]

Fatia placed the cold brown drink in the green paper cup, then pulled the light green shopping bag beside her and took out a piece of paper inside.

Instant noodles, checked.

Bread tasteless, checked.

Biscuit, checked.

Detergent, checked.

Clothes fragrance, checked.

Bathroom fragrance, checked.

"Oh yeah, room fragrances and chocolate!" the pekik immediately moved while leaving the shopping bag just like that. He returned down a narrow alley filled with soap-filled shelves, floor cleaners and stopped in front of a neatly hanging room freshener.

Quickly he picked up a fruit-scented room freshener. After which, he walked to a shelf filled with milk and cereals. Then walk down in the cashier queue. He was in the second row while observing one of the visitors who were right in front of him reach into each pocket of his pants.

"Well, my wallet is missing again. I looked for a moment in the car, Mba," he said wrongly.

Fatia was eager to see the confused man despite his appearance he was not a financially difficult person.

"All you guys, Mas," Fatia's friendly.

The man looked back.

"No need, Ma'am eh Mba," he replied clumsily and then he shifted.

"It's okay" he said put his groceries at the cashier's desk. "All right, Mba," Fatia told the cashier.

The cashier in front of Fatia smiled, then handed the coffee cup to the man who was already outside the queue.

"Thank you" he told Fatia.

"Together."

Men who wear plain, 3/4-sleeved, light gray combination black, ripped skinny jeans black and white sneakers that cross paths with Fatia at the cashier, are wearing white, still in the minimarket parking lot. They both sat.

"Mba, I don't bring cash. Can I have her account number? I'll transfer later," he approached Fatia.

"Do I drive you home?" The male drizzle glanced at his shopping bag.

"My home is close to here. I'm first yeah."

"But drizzle, Mba." He remains adamant.

"I carry an umbrella" he answered pointing at the rainbow-colored umbrella that rested on one of the chairs.

"My name is Attar, Mba. If I see you later, change my contract?"

Fatia simply threw a smile, then passed from before him.

Throughout the rest of the weekend, Fatia worked to clean the entire house. He carefully wiped the television attached to the wall, then wiped the long cupboard under it. The dust coming from the closet made him sneeze several times. Today even two years he lives in the elite rented property of Ms. Zaenab which there are only five doors for in this area. However, Ibu Zaenab also still has some rent in some other locations. Not even half-hearted, he had a ten-door contract and it was all filled.

Indeed, Ibu Zaenab is known to be humble and friendly to the rented residents. Sometimes, he also gives food and rambutan fruit if it is fruiting Fatia and other residents. Fatia decided to contract because the distance of her parents' house was quite far from her workplace and the whole trip was often jammed, so inevitably had to leave the mother with her younger brother. Usually every two weeks or once a month, Fatia returns home and makes a pilgrimage to the pusara of the father.

His cell phone, lying on the couch, rang.

Fatia rushes to put on her bluetooth headset, "Hello, beautiful mother!" fatia answered excitedly and leaned her body on the milk-brown sofa.

Sounded strange from across.

"Aren't they nengokin Mommy?" ask the Mother.

"Today Tia can't, Nda. Still cleaning the house, it has not been cleaned for two weeks. Tomorrow too, there's a friend's appointment."

"Cie, who do you want to make a deal with?" seduce the Mother.

Fatia chuckles.

"Just like a friend. Tia again help her wedding organizer Erika, tomorrow want the completion of the bride's home decor because of the application event. Continue to finish from there to go directly to the building readiness check there, because next Saturday will be a wedding ceremony and Sunday of the reception event," explained Tia relaxed.

"Spawn solid, huh?!"

"Yes, Nda, but good for Tia's extra transport."

"Yes, the important thing is don't forget to eat, son. Don't be too cape, keep a good look out there."

"Ready, Mother kece!"

"Why again, Nda?" ask Fatia.

"Tuh again on mabar*) with his friends. Oh yeah, Kemal got a part-time job at the coffee shop, sister. Next week it's starting to work" the mother told me.

"Good for experience but don't let the lecture get distracted, Nda. He'll keep truanting."

The woman in the negligee chuckled. "Hopefully not, brother. Just be careful if it is found out often do not enter Mother's ear jewel!" he chuckles.

Fatia laughed crisply. "Later Tia watch out from here too. Then Mommy can retire the sale of brownies dong."

"It's okay. There is a lot of busyness at home besides being free," reason. "Sister, yes then, you continue the burden."

"Okay, Nda. Take care of health. Bye!" Fatia ended the conversation.

There was a loud noise from the second floor. Fatia pulled the chair cushion and then stretched her body, "Rest for a while, ah," she muttered as she rubbed the phone screen.

He opened a playlist on his phone and soon Honne's "Location Unknown" was on the air. The noise from the second floor is muted with music that is currently being loved by his office friends.

Slowly, the music sounded faint.
