Chapter 35

Arfian was terrified once he got word that Echa was in the hospital. He did not want the past to repeat itself, really Arfian could no longer see Echa lying helplessly on the sickly bed.

His breath was stung from running even to the point of hitting some people who accidentally crossed paths with him.

"cha.." Call her surprised as soon as she sees the little girl sitting on the chair with Wanda.

Arfian glanced at the ER door full of questions, if Echa is okay then who is inside at the moment. Wanda who saw Arfian immediately stood up, apologizing for not giving any information first, she just felt afraid of anything happening to the man to forget if she and Echa were waiting for Arfian.

"forgive me Mr. Arfian." His words are full of regret.

Arfian understood, he was not angry. Seeing Echa alright was enough for him.

"what really happened?" Ask Arfian.

"we're waiting for Arfian sir. But, suddenly Echa ran over to a car that stopped not far from our place. apparently the man was in pain, so I hurriedly brought him here." Wanda explained.

"Daddy.he said dad." Echa exclaimed, her tiny hand pulling the tip of an Arfian shirt.

Arfian frowned then glanced at Wanda. The young teacher also seemed to be reminded, he immediately nodded.

"yes, he had a chance to say that he was Echa's father."

"father Echa.." Wonderful Arfian.

His eyes instantly widened as soon as he remembered a single name in his mind. Ben, Arfian can confirm if the person who just helped Echa and his teacher is Ben.

"thank you ma'am, you can go home. Let me take care of everything." Arfian.

"uumm. alright then. Echa, I'm home."

"yes, ma'am papay.."

Arfian sighed, he raised Echa's body. Carry him and immediately enter the IGD room. His eyes are looking for Ben's whereabouts. Right by the window there Ben lay helpless.

Slowly Arfian stepped up, his hold on Echa's body getting stronger as Ben opened his eyes. He is afraid that Ben will say things that will make Echa hurt. Very know, if the man who incidentally is the biological father of Echa is not so fond of Echa.

"thank you.." Lirih Ben, he was trying to sit down.

Slightly grimaced as his head felt so throbbing. He took a deep breath to relieve his pain.

"Echa. thanks a lot." Ben looked at Echa who was hiding her face behind Arfian's chest.

Somehow the girl was feeling scared now, her body even slightly trembling as Ben's hand stretched out would touch her.

The Arfian who sensed it instantly retreated to avoid Ben's touch. He knows, Echa's scared.

"Arfian, I'm not going to hurt him. Just wanted to thank him for saving my life." Said Ben as he is.

"no need. My daughter's scared." Arfian replied, stressing my daughter's words as if reminding Ben that Echa is his daughter not Ben's daughter.

Ben smiled thinly. He never admitted to Echa, but seeing the little girl who was looking at him with a look of caution really made his heart hurt.

"forgive me." He said, "can you call me father, just once." Pinta Ben is hopeful.

Arfian looked at Ben not like, this man really always do his best. Echa shook her head, then hugged Arfian's neck.

"Echa wants to go home." Whisper to the Arfian.

"yes, dear."

Arfian stroking Echa's hair. It didn't go unnoticed by Ben. The softness of Arfian as well as the spoiled attitude of Echa proves that the two are very affectionate with each other. Ben stared at Echa who was taken away by Arfian.

"contact your lover, I can't stay here." Arfian cried while walking.

Ben sighed. Immediately called the nurse, asking for her belongings. He should contact Rena and Liliana immediately.

"do you feel good, sir?" Ask a nurse.

The nurse checked the infusion hose and immediately checked if Ben's body temperature had decreased.

"You're intoxicated sleeping pills. The dose you're taking is too high."

Ben frowned. He never took the drug, why it could get intoxicated. Trying to remember, this morning whatever he consumed. Ben hardened his jaw, he clearly remembered what he had eaten this morning.

Just drinking coffee and eating a piece of toast, after which he did not eat anything until his body felt uncomfortable. He knew who the culprit was, quickly asking the nurse to contact Rena.

"contact my future wife and tell her I'm in critical condition."

"but sir..."

"let's say it."

The nurse who was stared at sharply by Ben could only obey his orders. He lied to Rena about Ben's current condition.

Hanum folded his hands, looking at Arfian annoyed. He was made to wait for an entire hour. His frustration grew when he saw Arfian not alone, the man got out of the car with Echa in his cradle.

"that's.daughter of Arfian's sister?" Ask Rachel.

Hanum nodded slowly. He was not alone, because Rachel insisted on accompanying him until Arfian arrived.

"waaah.a beautiful ya." Praise Rachel for not realizing that Hanum had walked away from her.

Rachel was silent, looking at Hanum and Arfian who were talking. Until he saw Hanum waving at him, he hesitantly walked up to them.

"so.you're Rachel? the short haired girl?" Ask Arfian.

Hanum told Arfian everything about Rachel. The woman smiled stiffly, embarrassed and nervous because after all she had pursued Arfian and expressed love for the man. Whether Arfian remembers it or not, but Rachel still feels uncomfortable.

"iii.iya.." Rachel grew even more embarrassed when she realized that only she was so simple right now.

Hanum wears an office suit and so does Arfian. While he only wears a t-shirt that is combined with his work pants are red. Not had time to change because it was quick to go home to accompany Hanum.

Arfian's view that can not be separated from him makes Rachel increasingly uncomfortable.

"umm.. Because Arfian's brother has come, I'll just go home." Said he was leaving.

But Arfian held him back.

"i'll drive you home." Bargainly.

"but.."

"just come on. come on.." Hanum pulls Rachel's hand into the car with him.

Echa wants to sit in the back, Arfian once told her that Hanum would be her mother. Echa is very happy because then, Leon and himself will continue to be together.

"mommy-gates.." Call Echa happy.

Hanum who was called like that did not like it. Staring at Arfian asking for an explanation.

"i told you everything, you'll be her mommy." Said Arfian while putting Echa in the car.

Sit her on Hanum's lap because of the little girl's request. Hanum felt uneasy, quickly lifting Echa and moving her on Rachel's lap.

Rachel who was shocked at Hanum's actions just kept silent, unconsciously her hand hugged Echa as soon as she saw the girl was about to cry.

Arfian wanted to be angry but was arrested because of Rachel. It felt bad to have a fight with Hanum in front of the woman. In addition, Echa will certainly be afraid if he sees himself yelling at Hanum.
