Enmeshed in Love

Enmeshed in Love
Chapter 2

Fatia's view fogged up after reading a short message from a number that had been blocked by her for almost two years. He even had to temporarily disable some social media accounts in order for the male threat from his past to stop haunting. Fatia got up from her desk, lowered her head and hurriedly walked out of the room.

Suddenly, his body collided with Haris, a slim and tall man who was walking towards the same room. The fresh and masculine aroma that goes out every time Haris comes to the office, is now protected without being separated by Fatia.

“Sorry, sir,” said Fatia was still downcast for stemming a puddle of tears and then stepping back past Haris.

“It’s ok,” replied Haris while paying attention to Fatia while climbing the stairs.

Haris's soul niche is intrigued by one of his best friend's employees. Once upon a time, he met with Fatia and found sorrow from the look in his eyes. The incident had been seen three times by him, the woman always rushed to the third floor when the office hours were over and he was very sure Fatia had just cried.

“Is he going to do something bad up there?” muttered. Without hesitation, Haris followed him to the third floor.

The sunlight sank so slowly that it dazzled his gaze.

“Fatia!” call him. Suddenly, Haris realized the intonation of his voice that was so loud.

Fatia was shocked to hear Haris voice. The woman hurriedly wiped her cheeks with a tissue. “Iya, sir,” answered in disgrace.

“What are you doing?” Haris walked up to him.

Fatia seemed to think as she sobbed.

“Do not do anything stupid here!” haris toilet.

“I'm looking at the sunset, sir,” without thinking of any other reason.

Haris was stunned and then tried to cover up his embarrassment because he had thought too far. He cleared his throat while asking, “You again have a problem?”

“Not there, Sir.”

“You thought I was a kid yesterday afternoon,” timpal Haris who then realized he had crossed the line.

Fatia mute. And still seem to think. Strenuous.

“Forget. Can I take you home?” tanyakanya. “Wait until my business and your boss is done. How?” her door.

Fatia.

“Can you wait for me?” he wondered because the woman was silent.

“S-I've booked an ojek online, sir. Excuse me.” Fatia became misbehaved, then she hurried past Haris.

Haris smiled as he shook his head and put both of his hands into his pants pocket.

“What are you doing here, Ris?!” his murmur heaved a heavy breath.

For the first time he was disturbed by the presence of another woman. The scope of work is indeed not far from a line of women who in fact always take care of themselves to the famous beauty clinics and salons in the capital, with a number of branded attributes attached to them, compared to Fatia. However, not a single one disturbed his heart.

In addition to women with thin makeup pulses even tend to look pale because it is like not wearing it. Dress style that is not too prominent compared to other coworkers. In fact, the woman sometimes just tied her hair pincers and rolled up her shirt sleeves at random. However, this caught the attention of Haris.

“It looks like I'm overdoing it.” He walked down the stairs.

**

The next afternoon, Haris deliberately took the time to come to Bagas' office, although he knew today his best friend did not come to the office because there was family business. At exactly five in the afternoon, he was already on the third floor roof. Sitting on a wooden chair that seems to be deliberately placed facing the sun or indeed just the origin of choosing a place. He has also pinned sunglass to dispel the spotlight of sunlight.

Just as she expected, the woman appeared from behind the door and was unaware of her existence. This time not carrying a tissue but a plastic bottle filled with mineral water and cell phones. Haris. Fatia jerks.

“Pak Haris?”

Haris smiled and approached him.

“Pak Bagas today did not come to the office, Sir,” Fatia Info.

“I already know about it,” he replied standing next to Fatia.

“Then why are you here?” ask Fatia carefully.

“Seeing sun sinking.” He had copied Fatia's answer a few days earlier.

Fatia mute.

“As you often do, but instead of seeing the sunset it is better while drinking coconut ice or coffee than the bottle in your hand?” guru Haris's.

“I don't copy, Sir. If the coconut ice, the place is far from the office,” Fatia replied innocently.

Haris chuckles. At least Fatia's innocence managed to restore her mood.

“I'm just kidding, Fatia,” said Haris.

Suddenly Fatia's phone rang. He just glanced at his phone screen. Instantly, both eyes were rounded, his breathing felt tight as the phone rang again. Haris glanced at Fatia's trembling hand as there was that incoming call.

“Why not lift?” tanyanya.

Fatia's face paled and a streak of sweat poured down her forehead.

“But I am waiting for the ojek too, Sir,” replied Fatia with a vibrating voice.

“You can cancel." His voice sounded resolutely commanding even though he was actually worried to see the change in the look on Fatia's face. "Can I take you home this time?”

Fatia seemed to think.

“Not working, Mr. Haris, thank you.”

The phone is back in silence. Then a short message appeared. Fatia deftly pressed the letters on her phone screen.

“I'm sorry because the ordered ojek has arrived, sir,” he said turned around.

Haris pulled Fatia's arm. “You sure you go home by yourself?”

“Yakin, Sir.” Fatia hurriedly brushed off Haris' hand.

Haris again held back Fatia's move.

“Sorry, if I cross the line like this,” he said snatching Fatia's phone.

Fatia sculpting. Then Haris deftly pressed his number from Fatia's phone. Cellphone's ringing.

“I save your number.” He returned Fatia's cell phone.

He tried to guess at the attitude that the man had just done and one by one the questions landed smoothly in Fatia's thought space, but he chose to ignore it and keep going.

“Should have my number saved as well.” Haris deliberately spoke out loud to be heard by Fatia who then disappeared behind the door.

**

Fatia was caught in one of her coffee shops. His memory is back on record this afternoon. What is that man planning? Once the sentence that first appeared after the awkward attitude done by him. Fatia also refreshed her memory slowly of her attitude when dealing with Haris, She was very sure never once spoke with the intonation of a soft voice when asked by him, never first greeting let alone teasing him.

“What happened to Mr Haris? Why ask for my number like that?” fatia Gumam. “What is he? No way!” mumbling again.

“So like to daydream here?”

The familiar voice resuscitated Fatia and she was surprised to find Haris right in front of her. “Pak Haris?!” pekik Fatia's.

“Do I look like a ghost?” He pulled the chair while smiling.

Fatia locked her mouth tightly.

“I'm worried about you!” he looked at Fatia.

“What is he doing right now?” Fatia turned her face away.

“For what do you care about me?” ask Fatia.

Before long a waitress brought her ordered coffee.

“Thank you,” Haris told the waitress.

“Perhaps because several times saw you crying silently on the roof and a little story I heard about you,” he replied sipping smoky coffee.

Fatia looked surprised, then said, “Since when did the office people gossip with you?”

Haris smiled, “N't gossip. They care about you.” He straightens.

“By telling my disgrace to a stranger?” Fatia realized her speech was quite spicy.

Haris smiled again and said, "I'm sure they didn't mean it."

"It seems they have a lot of free time yes in the office or now Pak Bagas' office changed functions into a gossip office!" ceracau Fatia ketus's.

“I'm not here to discuss that," said Haris still staring at him. “Listen, maybe this..”.

“Can I refuse to hear it?” cut Fatia.

"You just need to hear it, Fatia!” the teeth of Haris were heard by Fatia and the woman relented. “Maybe this is too fast and sounds strange, but let this stranger protect and accompany you without time limitation.”

Fatia brushed off Haris' speech that filled her thought space by sipping on the rest of her cold coffee. Although it was seen from the look on the man's face that hinted waiting for an answer from him.

“How?” haris asked in a huff because Fatia did not give any answer.

“Indeed quite strange anyway,” replied Fatia.

“Ah, common! You know what I mean, Fatia!”

“You better retract that saying, because I'm sick of men who easily indulge in a promise.” Fatia firmly spoke to Haris.

"Maybe you need to know one thing, I'm not like the man you imagined." This time Haris looked at him sharply. Haris' words seemed to clot another spicy sentence that was ready to slide from Fatia's lips. And, He's pounding.
