Enmeshed in Love

Enmeshed in Love
Chapter 1

Like the previous morning, Fatia always comes earlier than other office friends, except office boy who lives in the office. Women clad in light blue blouse and dark blue skinny jeans began the morning by filing some original files and photocopies of the original that were quite thick. The music from the headsets mounted on his ears echoed the song of young musician Shawn Mendes titled "Wonder", making him so fiery.

He took an aluminum folding ladder to put back the black ordner on a multi-storey iron shelf in a combination of yellow and navy blue and align some ordners that do not stand upright. As he was about to put the ladder in its original place, someone patted him on the shoulder.

“Eh!” fatia said, looking back and finding Santi one of her office friends, her Senior, whose desk was next to her.

“Still early in the morning already very much,” he said while putting a thumb in the absent fingerprint machine.

“Bikin surprise, Mba San. Regular cicil filling rather than stacking,” he replied. “Breakfast where this morning, Mba?” tanya Fatia stood before him.

“So I had breakfast Bangka chicken noodles,” replied the middle-aged woman while putting her bag and jacket in the employee vault bearing her name.

“Ih it's been a long time since I ate that chicken noodle. Next week do we have lunch there yuk, Mba?” invite Fatia who is fond of chicken noodles.

“By aja,” answer turn on the computer.

Then, on the sidelines of the conversation Fatia and Santi, a maniacal woman with a knocking sound from her heels that had been heard earlier than the owner, appeared at the connecting door.

“Good Morning, Mba-mbaku,” greet Ina cheerfully while carrying a beige colored work bag.

“Morning!” fatia and Santi answered at the same time.

“Again on what subject?” ask Ina nimbrung.

“Fatia wants to eat Bangka chicken noodles next week,” said Santi.

“Cute! We haven't eaten there for a long time, Mba,” said Ina.

“Day Monday any time, yes?” santi's idea.

“Bby. So invite others too, Mba,” cetus Ina.

“Mba Ambar how?” ask Fatia.

“Duh, he won't come. Which is even nitip.” Santi knows Ambar.

“Nothing the heck is important we invite, Mba,” Fatia's advice.

Santi is sometimes caught off guard by Ambar's attitude which always feels to be the oldest person and the right hand of his superior. His attitude is also due to the family relationship between the boss and Ambar, a common thing, however the company needs a very trustworthy person to take care of finances. However, Ambar seemed to have the upper hand so often behave arbitrarily towards other officials.

In fact, Santi several times clashed with the middle-aged woman and the most center of attention of other employees, the most, when they both argue about the invoice and the original file that has been submitted by Santi to Ambar a day after the transaction with the client, but Ambar feels never received from Santi.

Then Santi ended the debate and asked Fatia and Ina for help to search every corner of the room, including the desk work also the room of the boss, but nil. Only Ambar's room had not been touched at all. Santi with a grumbling face asked permission to search Ambar's room until the middle-aged woman intervened.

Within fifteen minutes, the files that were the source of the debate were found by Fatia who was stacked by other files and also Ambar's notebook. Meanwhile, the owner of the room still feels innocent by saying, “Other times do not play just put it on the table. My stuff is also a lot.” The woman walked over with a stifled face, while, Santi just kept quiet while putting the other pile of files roughly.

“Subject you guys. I am lazy to push him,” said Santi.

A few minutes after Ambar's name came from Fatia, a middle-aged woman wearing a white blouse and a light gray span skirt walked over to the connecting door.

“For Mba Ambar,” greet the three employees simultaneously. Astounded.

“Morning,” answers that look as bright as this morning.

The fresh aroma was triggered by the smell of the three officers who had been chatting. Not new, if Ambar comes the atmosphere to be silent for a moment, the woman strictly forbids the employees to joke too much because it affects her who is often severely reprimanded by the boss.

Not only that, if you talk and want to ask anything to the woman should be able to stand with her loud voice that pierces the ear, he said, when his mood is bad due to pressure from the owner of the company and often his anger explodes. Fatia also read the situation first if there is a job to ask her or if you want to be safe, she will ask one of the junior room to come to the room ‘Si Short Axis’, he will tell her to go to the room, once the little name that was finally pinned for her by Fatia, Santi was also some other coworkers at lunch together.

“Udah, mba,” replied the three of them together again.

Ambar chuckles.

“You're like a primary school kid and answer that,” he said back walking through Fatia and Santi's desk.

Fatia, Santi and Ina chuckle, though they doubt Ambar's words are a joke or satire.

“OK. Happy working!” the answer came out of the room.

The three of them exchanged glances because of the awkwardness of Ambar's attitude this morning, because he asked about breakfast and said good-bye to work.

“Because it’s friday!” whispered Ina giggled.

Since arriving about an hour ago in the minimarket located not far from where Fatia lives, he was reluctant to move from there even though the hot chocolate and snacks he ordered had been toilet. The woman who was wearing the headset circulated her gaze around the minimarket, she often did the same thing but did not make it saturated at all. His mood slightly improved while sitting in the same place while listening to random songs.

Previously, noon until the afternoon before returning to the office earlier, this afternoon, the owner of the company came with a pile of anger because Ambar missed making an invoice that was quite large and impact on Santi and Fatia who had to try to prepare the accompanying documents as a condition of payment of the bill.

A chat came in from the man who had been by her side for a year. Harris.

H: [Sorry, I can't pick you up today. Did you get home?]

F: [Nothing. Yes, but still in minimarket hehehe.].

H: [What's there?]

F: [Sitting while listening to music.]

H: [It is better to go home. It was almost 9 p.m.]

F: [In a moment, Mom. Besides, I'm only a few steps from here.]

H: [But it's quiet around there.]

F: [I'll be home in a few hours, I'll be off tomorrow as well.]

Fatia then took a photo into the minimarket and sent it to Haris.

F: [Here quite crowded visitors anyway.]

An elderly male sticker that says “Terusah!”

F: [Okay, ten more minutes and I'll be home, sir!]

H : [Okay.]

Fatia sent the elderly lady stickers grinning.

Haris may be one of the few men who slowly melted the ice wall in the recesses of Fatia's soul to make it free to tell her about her past clearly and compromise to date wherever she goes Haris. In the remaining minutes, Fatia's memories replayed the initial encounter with the middle-aged man.
