Chapter 21

Arfian looks very tired due to lack of sleep. He works also waiting for Echa at the hospital. Although Madam Rada had already asked her to go home and take a short nap at home, the adult man ignored her. He could not calm down and continued to worry about Echa who was still not aware of his coma.

It has been almost two weeks that the little girl is lying weakly with various life-sustaining aids.

Rena had never even come to visit or just ask her news. This woman is too busy taking care of her own life. He chases Ben all the time, not wanting him to leave because he knows Arfian doesn't want him anymore. So the only way is to stay next to Ben, even though he is always treated badly.

After that time, Rega and Sena took her out of Ben's cupping and spoke to Rada, not knocking at her heart's door at all. Rena stayed in her stance, choosing Ben and leaving everything behind.

"Arfian, why are you so stubborn.your body can get exhausted and you will fall ill if it continues." Madam Rada could not see her daughter-in-law continuing to neglect her health just because of Echa.

Arfian shook his head quickly.

"mom, Echa just don't eat and don't drink. Where can I eat while my daughter's asleep." Said with a wist.

The long fingers stroked the cheeks of Echa which is getting thinner day by day. Rada took a long breath. Echa is not her biological child, why should Arfian care so far. But he couldn't bear to do it because he knew Arfian would definitely get hurt.

Therefore Rada chose to get out of the room, meeting Rega and Sena who were sitting in the waiting room.

"sister's face was very messed up. Seems like Ben hurt her a lot." Said Rega as soon as Madam Rada sat in front of her.

"don't mind him. Mama doesn't want to hear his name or see his face."

Actually his heart screamed loudly when he recalled his meeting with Rena last week. The face of her beloved daughter was full of bruises and the look in her eyes implied sadness. But, with all his might buried that pity when he remembered how cruel women were to Echa and Arfian.

"mah, you better persuade brother Rena. it's possible that Echa will wake up if..."

"not Rega." Bentak Rada. "don't call his name mamah. Are you deaf?"

Rega pursed his lips. Just this time he heard a tone so high coming out of Rada's lips. All this time he had never been yelled at or hit by the middle-aged woman. Aware of what just happened, Rada immediately touched Rega's hand.

"listen mama, your brother doesn't care about Echa at all. don't care about him anymore. please beg Rega." His voice and sight softened.

Slowly Rega approached, hugging Rada. He regretted that he had brought the woman up to make Madame Rada sad again.

Sena who had just been silent watching the two spoke up. He couldn't bear to see Rada like that.

"auntie, take it easy. I'm sure Echa will wake up soon."

Rada looked at Sena's face, she released Rega's embrace and approached Sena. Holding both hands, he expectantly pleaded.

"Sena, auntie beg you to be Rena's replacement."

Sena immediately pulled his hand.

"what did aunt say?"

"mom, brother Arfian will not approve it. Why do you want Sena and brother Arfian to unite?" Rega Protests. Sena nodded.

Rada knelt before Sena. He just wants to see Arfian happy, convinced that Sena is able to make the man forget Rena and heal his wounds.

"auntie, don't be like this." Sena feels bad. He tried to get Rada to wake up.

"please ask Sena."

Sena bit her lips, glancing at Rega who was looking the other way. The man obviously disapproved of Rada's request but could not say it directly. Sena sighed, with a heavy heart she agreed to Rada's request for not wanting to let the woman down.

"ummm.. okay."

Hearing Sena's reply, Rega immediately looked at the woman disapprovingly. However, his heart was hurt if Sena was really with Arfian. Despite wanting the best for Arfian but if the woman was Sena, he felt very objected.

Sena sighed, reassuring herself. Feeling that Rega doesn't like him then it's better that he tries to open his heart to Arfian.

A single tear came down her cheek, as it flashed across Arfian's face. Suddenly missed the man who always spoiled him before this happened. Then Ben's face just flashed as Rena recalled the incident last night.

The man violently and heartlessly beating also scolded her all-out just because he asked Liliana to stay away from Ben. Rena continues to survive despite knowing that Ben cares more about Liliana.

"Arfian.hiks." Rena was crying feeling guilty towards Arfian.

Every time Ben treated him badly, he always remembered his mistake to Arfian.

He cried even louder as his daughter's face flashed through his mind. Wanting to turn back the clock but impossible, all the regrets he felt because of his selfishness.

"Echa... forgive mommy. You must hate mommy right?" Sluggishly.

The doorbell rang, Rena hastily wiped away her tears. Get out of the room in a hurry, scared if it's Ben. That guy doesn't like to wait. Ben's attitude is now very irritable and impatient, really no more soft and caring Ben.

"wait a minute..." Rena ran towards the door and opened it.

His smile faded when not only Ben was there. Liliana also stood up spoiled recklessly wriggling in Ben's arm. Women seem to show Rena if her position is more important than her.

"what's this? why did you bring this cheap lady here?" Rena pushed Liliana's body violently.

Ben who did not accept it immediately protected Liliana with his body. He stared intently at Rena, as if those eyes were going to swallow Rena alive.

"from today Liliana will be staying here. We'll get married tomorrow."

"what?" Rena was immediately shocked and rounded her eyes.

Liliana who saw Rena's expression also smiled mockingly. He said with great confidence.

"i'm gonna be the first wife and you're just gonna be Ben's mistress anytime."

Rena clenched her hands. Quickly pulled Ben's hand.

"you're serious? Ben, you can't do this to me. We've already distributed the wedding invitations."

Ben chuckles. "just spreading the peddle. Then what's the problem, you just have to tell them that our marriage is off. Isn't that easy?"

"Ben, you can't treat me like this. You're too much." Rena hits Ben's body while crying.

Liliana smiled happily at Rena. He and Rena are really blind, fighting over a guy like Ben. They both love the wrong guy.

"yes, I love you." Rega to the point and make Sena surprised.

Sena was silent for quite a while, she had not expected that Rega would say that sentence so easily. Deliberately dragging him all the way to the hospital park just to say that.

"you.are serious?" Sena looked at Rega's face.

The man rubbed his face rough. Taking a deep breath and turning his back to Sena.

"i liked you a long time ago when you were fat. And that love turns into love now." Acutely.

Sena looked at the handsome man's back. He doesn't know what to say. Already promised Madame Rada to be Arfian's companion.

"forgive me." Sena then ran away from Rega just like that.

The man laughed sweetly. Her heart was hurt but felt a little relieved to have confessed her feelings directly. He hoped that Sena would be happy with his choice.

"sister Arfian will love and love you sincerely." Rega Gumam.
