Crossing the World

Crossing the World
XXXI - Earth (Karen)

My departure for quite some time did not seem to have any impact. My house still remains as it was without any suspicious things happening around here.

Unlike the rural areas, large city areas are usually not too familiar with the residents of houses that are next to each other. I don't get too familiar with the neighbors either. So, I've guessed that there won't be anyone suspicious about the loneliness of this house.

They probably thought our family was traveling for a while.

Actually, even if someone came to the house, I had already prepared four humanoid robot units that looked identical to me and the three cyborgs that accompanied me. The four of them can be freely controlled by the Aura-Ai program in my car-through the internet network. Therefore, I wasn't too worried when I couldn't visit this place for a while.

Let's pray that no hacker can penetrate the security system and hijack the four robots.

The first day I spent controlling Johan to buy all sorts of things. I also decided to go to various farms and pet stores, do a price survey and collect information about local animals in this place.

The farms in the city do not provide too much variety. In fact, according to the information I got over the internet, there should be more types of animals on the farm.

Is it because it is a big city? Do I have to go specifically to a village? Let's leave this matter for later.

I found cows, goats, sheep, and also chickens.

Cows themselves have various types. For high-quality domestic cows available on farms today most are of the braford breed. Besides being strong and resistant to disease, this type of cow is also quite large. They are also very resilient when faced with a state of minimal feed.

Braford is a breed of cow that crosses Brahma Cow with Hereford Cow. Therefore, it is not surprising that this cow has the advantages of both types of superior cows. Another reason why I like her so much is the fact that the mother braford treats her child quite well.

They're fit to be released on the artificial island I'm about to bring.

I'll add the goats and sheep as a bonus. So, I won't choose a high-quality variant. I decided on this because their feed is the same as that of cows. If I add too many animals with the same feed, my island will turn into a terrible survival arena. A place where herbivorous animals justify any means to kill or be killed for food.

It is obviously impossible for something like this to happen. I was just kidding.

Next is chicken. There are two types of chickens that are common on farms.

First, it is a chicken that is often referred to as domestic chicken or chicken. This type of chicken comes from the red forest chicken race which was then domesticated hundreds of years ago.

The second type is cut chicken or broiler chicken. This type of chicken is actually a cross of various types of superior chickens to produce the most superior type of cut chicken that is popular with most people. Its soft meat fiber and fast production make this type of chicken a lot of demand. Unfortunately, the durability of broiler chickens is very ugly. I even found a funny case on the internet explaining that some broiler chickens died of shock after hearing a lightning strike overnight.

Isn't that article too far-fetched?

Since I will just let go of the chickens, I better buy domestic chickens. I will also find and buy some wild chickens as a precautionary measure just in case domestic chickens cannot live in the wild.

I think the variety of herbivorous animals is enough to get here. I know chickens are not herbivores, but since farm animals are too, let's put them on the list of herbivorous animals to make it easier to record.

Let's head to the next place.

An Aura-controlled car leads Johan to a pet store.

Cats and dogs will be removed from the list because I don't think they're suitable for release on a remote island. Hamster might be good. I also want to buy some squirrel pairs and sugar gliders. I think adding a rabbit would be a good thing, too. Let's ask the AI to grow vegetables as well.

Now there is carnivore.

Ah, there's a lake means there must be fish. Let's leave it aside for now because choosing the type of fish is not too important. Fish are generally strong placed anywhere there is enough water and feed.

I spent about a week buying various kinds of fertilizers and also doing surveys on plants that I had not brought to the shelter. Anyway the island should have a lot of variety so as to create an unparalleled forest paradise.

The dozens of tons of fertilizer I bought was obviously impossible to send at once to the shelter through my house. If I did, the neighbors would have been suspicious no matter what apathy they had been all along. So, I decided to rent a fairly spacious warehouse and send everything to the shelter through the warehouse.

The purchase of animals will be delayed until the island is successfully placed on earth. Instead, I began to rush myself to choose what other plants I wanted to develop on the artificial island.

Potatoes, rambutan, mangoes, and papaya have been successfully grown there. The rest will follow after I choose suitable seedlings.

My consciousness is divided to the maximum, exploring every article about farming spread on the internet.

"Why must there be!"

My enthusiasm peaked when I realized that coconuts were always closely related to the beach. This plant must exist if we talk about an island paradise in the tropics!

I also want to add a wide variety of spices to further enrich the island. Well, I know the success rate of letting a spice like onion grow itself in the wild with almost year-round rainfall is kind of low, but it never hurts to try, right?

Spices, vegetables, and seeds from various plants have been obtained. Let's go and consult my brilliant idea to create this incomparable paradise island to AI.

After sending the last package of fertilizer that was inside the warehouse, I took all the plant packs with me to the shelter. My destination was the observation room, where I could observe the development of the artificial island that was actually finished. Well, I will soon bring this island once all the seeds I brought now manage to grow well.

When I explained the meaning of the package containing the various seeds and goals I wanted to achieve, AI uttered a sentence that made me freeze on the spot.

"If you plant all these seeds on an artificial island, those who see it will immediately know that this artificial island is not natural. It was impossible for there to be an uninhabited island full of decent eating fruits, vegetables, and spices growing in it. Even if you look at it people will immediately know that someone must have deliberately planted all of it on this island."

Ah ... His words cannot be denied. Obviously people would be suspicious if there was such an island.

"I suspect you also intend to release the common livestock there as its inhabitants."

I was surprised by the AI speech that suddenly changed the topic from plants to animals.

"Why do you know?!"

"Seriously, do you intend to make the island a settlement in the future?"

Oh. .. It seems like all the data I've collected this week ended up in vain. I should have asked the AI first before deciding anything.

Well ... whatever. Because it has already been, let's just plant what I have brought and assume there will be no problems in the future.

...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...

Note: yesterday all my work was unpam comments and it made my mood bad. This may be the last chapter of this work.
