Promises to be kept

I realized and in the crowd were strange people with pale faces. They're like the undead. But there was one that caught my attention. A grandmother I've seen in front of a neighbor's house, she still uses her cane.

"Once I am, I have nothing to do with you all" I cried. I don't accept being the meal of them all. My body is small and will not be able to meet all of them in large numbers.

Grandma used a stick forward. He grabbed the stick and instantly the bond in my body slipped away. I'm gasping to see it.

I didn't think it was their creature who asked me for help. I needed help this time.

"Sorry Grandma, I can't help. I'm in trouble right now. I'm separated from my friends, I don't know how they're doing right now. Besides, I can't help you all, you're in the hundreds" I said, declining.

"If you don't want to help, we won't help you either. So don't blame us if you and your friends become curious spirits too"

"Okay, I'll help you. But once you help me find my friends and get out in this world, you have to keep your word, otherwise we'll keep terrorizing your family and not let you live quietly until you help me" Said the grandmother.

"I don't like to break promises, so you guys take it easy. After my problems are over, I will help you" I said steadily, though I also hesitated to help them all.

"We'll take you to meet your friends. Close your eyes and when we tell you to open, you open them" said Grandma and I.

Not long after, a terrible voice sounded but I did not feel myself being carried. I kept my eyes closed until a very loud noise came.

"Open your eyes and turn right. Your friends are there. If you want to go back, find the forest where you were before"

After the sound was gone, I started to open my eyes. I felt like I was at a funeral, a lot of creatures that looked at me with a difficult gaze to understand. I walked slowly and ignored all the creatures around me.

Not long after, I don't see any more paths. I began to be confused, I was told to turn right but there was no road there.

I stopped for a moment, looking for a way out. I saw a ghost in front of me. I started to raise my hand, wanting to ask him. Although I was afraid, but I had to be brave than to be here continuously.

"Excuse me, ghost, I'd like to ask. I want to turn right but I don't see the road here" I said trying to cover my fears.

He looked at me with a horrible look, I got worried. What if he puts me here, it's up to me.

"You're the new ghost here? why can't you see the road?" He asked with a horrible look.

I don't know what to talk about, what if he knows I'm not a ghost. Surely I'll be a scramble for food.

"Yes right, I'm a new ghost. Hence asking for help from the senior ghost here" I said with an expression as if imitating a ghost.

"You see that grave over there" said the ghost without pointing by hand. Only his face moved.

I see, the grave there looks different from other graves. And the direction is also on the right. I have to get used to this ghost realm.

"Stop humans..." Shouts the ghost.

I didn't feel like moving, my footsteps stopped. My sweat is pouring out, the ghost calls me human. Means my disguise was revealed.

"Oh my goodness, this is my fate" I muttered in my heart.

I don't know what to do, if the ghost calls me human then he'll take me away and make him a meal.

I turned around, but the ghost did not look at me. But in the other direction and still behind me.

"New ghosts, there are humans who come to our nature. It's time we ate them without remaining" he said, then walked away. Not long after, he was out of sight.

I feel relieved, the human call was not for me. He still calls me a new ghost. I hastened my steps back, wanting to find my friends and get out of here. It's not safe to be here, there are already many ghosts who know our whereabouts.

When I was in the grave I meant, I saw my friends tied up around a fire that floated around them.

"Yes..." I yelled at Ana because she was the only one still awake. While the others, still fainted.

Ana looked at me, not believing. I stepped closer but the fire attacked me. I tried to dodge, because there was too much fire, I was hit and fell on the ground.

"It hurts, what fire is this, I feel like I'm burning all the way inside" I said groaning in pain.

"Luis, use your powers to heal your wounds. After that, help us get out of here. Before the kuntilanak returns" Shouted ana from a distance.

I sat cross-legged, starting to emit light from my hands. I was also surprised, where the light came from. I only read three Qul. After no more pain, I untied ana and my other friends.

"How do you put them all together?" I asked after the bond of ana, dion, grace, and fani came apart. But they didn't move at all.

Ana held Dion's hand, she closed her eyes. Before long, Anna looked in pain and opened her eyes slowly. Dion moved his hand and began to open his eyes.

"Oh, where am I? why are we still here?" Dion asked while watching me and ana take turns.

"The story will be later, I wake up the fani and mercy first" said Ana jiggled forward to fani and mercy.

"We cannot awaken grace and fani. We have very little energy" I said to Ana.

Ana nodded, she seemed to understand. Dion only sighed, he could not help as his energy had yet to recover. Dion had just regained consciousness and his body was still weak.

Not long after, a kuntilanak sound was heard in our ears. Me, Ana and Dion were shocked. Looks like Kuntilanak is back.

"What should we do, kuntilanak has come. He won't let us go" said Dion, who began to panic. Ana and I panicked, and our energy was not strong enough to fight invisibility.
