Rian Who's Coming

I slowly opened my eyes. Rian turned out to be calling me. He smiled when he saw me.

"Ri.an." I said stammering and weak.

"Luis, thank God, you're sober. I'm so worried about you" said Rian who helped me stand up.

Not long, dion, mercy, and ana come. He ran straight towards me.

"Luis, are you okay?" dion asked, holding my hand.

Quickly, rian parried it. He didn't feel welcome, Dion helped me.

"Why are you here?" asked Dion who was staring hard at rian.

"I saw Luis come here, so follow him," replied rian casually.

"You're a stalker, yeah, you like to follow Luis. You can interfere later," said Dion resentfully.

I was confused myself, they both argued with such an insignificant matter.

"Luis, sorry, we're late to come here. Because of this dion, he was late to tell us," said ana who was nodding by grace.

All eyes were on Dion, he just smiled.

"I'm right to forget Luis, next time I won't be anymore" said Dion as he showed his hand forming a V.

"Luis, you don't have to ask for help from forgetful people. Just tell me," said Rian who was still near me.

I smiled, reluctant to respond. He doesn't know what kind of help I mean.

"Don't be your pretender, this isn't human help. You won't be able to" said dion, who underestimated Rian.

"I'm sick again. Not in a fight, but arguing. Help me get home," I said, breaking up their argument.

Ana helped me walk, followed by rian, dion, and grace in the back. On the way, they started asking me.

"Luis, what happened. You look weak?" ask grace.

"You don't have to do it. I am his neighbor, it is my duty to help him" said Rian.

"If you two keep fighting, when will Luis answer my question?" a word of grace that looks upset, with the behavior of dion and rian.

"So, I told Dion to let you guys come to the funeral. I want to find the missing spirit of the fani," I said starting the conversation.

They all looked at me curiously. I then told him everything. Rian's face was full of fear, he even held both of his hands.

"Oh, so it's like that. Good thing you can help" said Mercy.

"I don't think, they seem to be after all of us" said Ana who spoke, from then on she just silently listened.

"But ana, I was curious. Who told them, they couldn't have done it without human action and reward" I said, leading us all to think.

"True luis, that means, there have been people who have targeted us before. It's just, we're not self-conscious" Dion replied.

Rian looked nervous, whether he was scared or something. His eyes looked sad, like they were keeping a big secret.

"Rian, what's wrong with you?" I asked for a moment, Rian was very surprised. He doesn't know what to say.

"No, I'm fine" said Rian without looking me in the eye.

"He may be afraid, but he won't admit it. You're ashamed, man but coward," ridiculed Dion.

"Let coward, the important loyal friend. Would it be better?" reply Ana.

Me and Mercy just laughed, while Dion looked at Ana instead. She may not believe it, Ana returns her words.

"It's up to Ana, I can go in by myself. You guys better check the condition of fani. I didn't see him, when I got out of there," I said as I walked slowly into the house.

They were all gone, I looked out the window. However, my gaze could not be separated from Rian. He was still silent and dumbstruck in front of my house. There was something strange about the boy, he could tell if I was at the funeral.Rian even, just in time came to my aid.

When I left, I didn't feel like anyone was following me.

"Who are you, Rian?" the gumanku in heart.
