Angker Village

Angker Village
Mysterious Letter

I stopped when I felt like my legs couldn't run anymore. Fani and Dion patted me on the shoulder, with sweaty faces.

"Racid?" I asked who saw them both.

"No, it's still five kilos" said Fani, then sat on the ground.

"Yes, my goodness, there is forgetfulness" said Dion looking back.

"What?" I said that together with Ana.

"Rian and Rain,"

I looked back, Rain carried Rian running in a hurry. I tried to hold my laugh.

"They're both funny" Fani said with a laugh.

"The one who ran away was in awe." My answer.

Rain gave Rian to Dion, then sat down while adjusting his breathing. It's like running a marathon.

"Where does Rain feel like meeting a pocong?" Ask Fani.

"I am thrilled to have the chance to meet him." Rain made us all laugh. I expected, he would be surprised.

Rian opened his eyes, and Dion saw him throw it away. It was fortunate that Rian's hand could still hold onto Rain who was beside him.

"Is this really Rian? Or still possessed?" Fani asked who was looking hard at Rian's eyes. However, Rian looked at Rain with a surprised face.

"Rain, are you here?" Rian did not believe it. He touched Rain's face and smiled.

"It's really you Rain" said Rian who shed his tears. He hugged Rain tightly.

"Easy-after. You intend to hug me, or kill me?" Rain asked who took off Rian's embrace.

"But why are we here. Nights again" said Rian who looked around darkly. Rian looked confused.

The sound of chicken crowing rang out, matahai started coming out from his hiding. I feel so relaxed. After explaining it to Rian, we finally returned to each other's homes. I, who didn't sleep last night, went into my room and threw myself away. Not enough for a few minutes, I was already asleep in my sleep.

I was still sleepy and my eyes were not open yet, someone grabbed my hand. I covered myself with a blanket, so he wouldn't bother me. But it still made a noise that made me wake up.

"What the hell?" I said looking around empty. My bedroom door is still closed.

I was confused by myself, I felt disturbed by someone but I was alone in my room.

"Go back to sleep" I said, fixing my pillow.

"Luis, Luis," someone called me outside the window. I opened the window and searched for the man, but could not find him.

As he turned around, the ghost of Rian's puppet stood right behind me with his hand that was willing to strangle me.

"Don't..." Shouted in my sleep. I woke up and saw myself still in bed. .

"Luis, you're just a dream" I said as I stroked my chest. I looked at the clock on the wall, already showing lift twelve noon.

"Luis, why are you yelling?" Ask my dad who knocked on my door.

"Nothing, dad," I shouted back.

I got off the bed, a paper I accidentally stepped on. I saw and read it. This letter, it's on me.

MEET ME AT EIGHT IN THE EVENING AT THE FUNERAL

I turned over the letter, looking for the name of the sender. This letter is without the name of the sender. From his writing, not my sister or my friends.

"Who wants to see me at the funeral?" I asked who was astonished. There is something wrong with this letter.

"Luis.." call my father. I ran to him.

"Yes, dad?"

"Marni's body has been buried. Everything was fine, but we found a diary of Marni." Said my father.

"Marni's daily book?" Ask with wonder.

"He wrote in his diary, on Friday night he would meet his male friend. But Marni did not say what the man's name was. If we knew, we could ask what happened to Marni. All the residents thought that the man who killed Marni was the man she met that night." Obviously my father was thinking something.

"Can it be her husband, dad?"

"No. Her husband said that he never met Marni back when it came to giving her a farewell letter." Said my father.

"We don't need to think about it, Mr. Rt will be investigating Marni's case." Said my father who went into his room. I try to remember what happened in the back of the school. A man came in through the back door, then came out with a helpless Marni.

"Think, Luis. Who hates Marni?" I said twirling my fingers. My head feels like it's going to break, I don't want to think about Marni anymore. I headed to the kitchen and cooked quietly. But when I was cooking, someone like pinching me from behind. I think he's an idol that's why I ignored him. But while storing the fish I had fried, I caught a glimpse of the female figure behind me with her face covered in hair. When he turned around, he was gone.

"Did Marni come home?" I asked the curious.

I started goosebumps and went to the front porch. I chose the dudik in front of the terrace, seeing many citizens passing by. My fear is buried.

"Luisa." said a grandmother wearing a cane in the middle of the street.

"Luisa, yesterday for a second, son!" His order. I never saw the grandmother, but I went to her as she asked.

"Luisa, you should have moved quickly to find out the cause of this haunted village. There's been a lot of casualties he's taken, including Marni." Said this old grandma.

"Grandma, who?" I asked who was watching this grandmother. I never saw him pass by and didn't know him.

"Luis.." call Rain. I looked towards Rain, he called me there. When I wanted to go with my grandmother in front of me, she was gone.

"Luis" called Rain who made me run towards him.

"What's wrong?" My toot.

"Night, meet me. Do you know where you want to meet?" Said Rain while raising his eyebrows.

"Yes, I read your letter. But, why in the haunted place of everything?" I asked to protest.

"You don't know a good place. Just come there, you'll be dumbfounded." Rain said that he entered his house.

The night is coming, the moon is shining brightly. I walked to the funeral, as Rain said. I waited for Rain in front of the tomb gate. I've been waiting an hour, Rain hasn't come. He told me to come at eight.

The desolate wind started coming many times, my body felt cold. I looked around, which was still dark. The trees did not move at all, even though the wind was blowing. My flashlight was pointing in all directions, looking for something I didn't know what I was looking for. The gate closed and opened several times, but I still ignored it. Think if the wind made it shake.

"Rain where? Has not yet appeared. Just watch out, if he doesn't come," said I, upset that I didn't find Rain. I paced back and forth in front of the gate, the approaching footsteps making me turn towards him. Unfortunately, my heart stopped beating, what I saw was not Rain.
