Phone From Ratna's Mother

"What is this, is someone shooting at us?" Ask Grace who holds the plate.

"Feelings, in our village there are no police." My speech.

"We checked outside, someone must be there." Said Ana.

All of us, me, Dion, Grace, Fani, and Ana, check outside. Just a big rock, which seems to be used to throw a wall. No one is visible.

"Luis, is it just our deflection that's wrong?" Ask Fani.

"I heard a clear gunshot in my ear. But it's impossible if someone shoots something here. No trace at all." I said looking around.

"We go in" said Dion.

At midnight, everyone is asleep. But I was not asleep, the gunshots rang out, still spinning in my brain.

Fani and Ana hugged each other in bed. I wake up to get some water. When I passed Ana's grandmother's room, the door was still open. I wanted to close it, but Grandma Ana was still sitting on the chair sewing a shirt.

"You haven't slept, Luis?" Ask Grandma Ana, who knows where I am. He didn't even look at me.

"No, yet" I replied.

"Come in, there's something I want to talk about." Said Ana's grandmother, who was still focusing on sewing.

"You look agitated, did something happen?" Ask Grandma Ana, as I sit near her.

"Yes, grandma. Someone is planning to finish me off. I don't know what's wrong with her." I said with a sad face. Remembering it, scares me.

"Luis, you're not the real culprit. But why would you bear it?" Ask Ana's grandmother who stopped sewing. He looked seriously at me.

"I'm afraid, Fani and my sister are victims." I said while looking down.

"Grandmother understands, you are so stupid. There's no need to care about anyone else, because he doesn't care about you. Friends, can still be enemies. Anytime, and anywhere." Said Grandma Ana, who seemed to explain a mystery to me.

"What does that mean, Grandma?" My toot.

"Find it yourself. Show me, if you are not weak. Never tell your weaknesses to anyone, including your friends. Because of him, it can be an enemy and use it." Obviously grandma Ana's back.

The next day...

I went back to my boarding house, early in the morning so that people would not see me. Arriving at the inn, a lot of land lying on the floor.

"Something from my boarding house. Is Ratna's mother?" I asked in wonder.

I cleared the ground, then sat down to rest in my room. I don't know why, I feel like Grandma Ana knows something. His words to me indicate that my friend is my enemy

"where possible. Ana's grandmother, must have been just guessing. My friends, good people, can't possibly mean anything to me."

"But it's weird. When I came to my house, someone reported to Mr. Mus. Who?" I asked who thought.

Dreet...Dreet...Dreets.....

My phone suddenly sounded. Ratna's mother called me. I was surprised to see, why Ratna's mother called me.

"Hello," I said, setting the tone of my voice.

"Luis, you're really at your house, right?" Ask Rayna's mom across the phone.

"Yes, mom. I've been evicted, my father brought me here." My words are lying

"You're not lying, Luis?" Mother Ratna asked, apparently knowing that I'm not going to town.

"I mean, what's Ratna's mother?"

"I got a message from someone. He said you're still wandering the village."

I was surprised to hear that, yesterday Mr. Mus got a message if I was in my house. Now, Ratna's mother got a message from someone. What really happened, who he was.

"Luis, if you're in your house, let me talk to you. Remember, if you're lying, don't blame me if your sister's gonna lose her life." Mother Ratna said with a warning.

My sweat is pouring out, there's no one here. Only I'm alone, Ratna's mother will know. I went out to the inn, looking for someone who could help me. But, no one, the streets are so deserted.

I was confused, not knowing what to do. From a distance, a mother is seen.

"OK, Miss Ratna. I'll call my aunt first" I said. I ran to mothers I didn't know at all.

"Mom, can I have a little help?" I asked him politely.

He was silent for a moment, looking at me from top to bottom.

"Son, you're the new kid here?" Ask back.

"Yes, ma'am."

"What kind of help, son?"

"Look, mom. My ex-boyfriend's aunt, wants to talk to my aunt. But my aunt is not there. Could ask for help, that mom pretend to be my aunt. Please ma'am, I don't want to be disturbed." I had to lie, to be helped. Ratna's mother will be suspicious if she doesn't talk to my aunt.

"Can." He said, making me very happy. I gave her my phone, smiling happily.

"Hello, I'm the tant." Say it with a loud voice. I didn't choose wrong.

Ratna's mother, just turned off the phone. He no longer suspects me.

By nightfall, I was done eating. I sat down and took Marni's book. Take notes of the important things there. My phone rings again, not Ratna's mother. But Rian.

"Luis, can we meet now?" Said Rian

on the phone in a panic.

"I'm in town. What's wrong?" I said.

"Luis, we have to meet now. It's important, it's your life." Rian said on the phone. I was surprised to hear that. What's wrong with my life.

"Where do we meet?" I asked quickly.

"I'm already at the border, you just stay out. Don't forget, your boarding key."

Rian said before ending his call. I'm more surprised, from where Rian knows I'm here.

"Rather than thinking about it for a long time, I should see Rian now." My cave in my heart.

I got out of my boarding house, look Rian who is not far from me.

"Rian, there's ap-" my words cut off, Rian shuts my mouth and pulls me into hiding in the bushes. I was confused, seeing Rian's behavior. He peeks occasionally, and forbids me from being noisy.

"What?" I asked in a soft voice.

"There's someone who's gonna kill you." Rian said, making my eyes glare. The threat sent me was true.

I peeked forward, seeing two people wearing black masks sneaking towards my boarding house. He got into my room easily. Not long after, having not found me in the boarding house, they came out upset.

"Rian, who are they?" I asked who was still in shock. They both carry sharp weapons.

"I don't know. I only heard their chatter if he wanted to kill you. I told you right away." Obviously Rian.

"Do you know where I'm going, if I'm going to be here?" I asked, who was staring at Rian's face.

"Your father," said Rian who turned his head towards me. I just nodded, my father does know where I live

"Luis, for a while you don't have to stay there. You're looking for a safer place" Rian said.

"Yes. I'm afraid too, if they come back." I said.

"I'm sorry, I can't take long. I have to go, Rain must be looking for me because I left him without telling him." Said Rian who left.

I went back to the boarding house, took my things. Tonight, I'm going to Ana's house. I think that's where the only safe place is.

When I put my things in, there was the sound of two men talking outside. I was surprised, thinking that the two men had come back.

"Is he inside?" Ask one of the. I don't know where to hide. My heart was beating so fast, I was like I was climbing a mountain.

"Just break the door!"
