Angker Village

Angker Village
Become a Detective

I was worried, after getting a call from my sister. What does Ratna's mother really want, why should it take so many lives in the village.

When I was busy thinking, my phone rang again. It wasn't my sister who called, but Ana. I hurriedly picked it up and brought my phone to my ear.

"Union, I want to tell you something. This is important, can we meet at my house?" Ana asked with a whisper in the phone.

"If people see me, how?" My toot.

"Calm down, all the people are at Malik's house. It's just me and my friends here. You come here now, I wait," Ana said.

I am not in the city, but in the village of eleven. To be exact, on the border of my village. This is Ana's plan. He had expected, there would be strange events after my departure. Moreover, it was impressed that Ratna's mother was eager to kick me out. In fact, intending to eliminate me.

I wear black robes, masks and kecamata. Then come out while stumbling. I did not pass through the streets, but walked in the garden and entered Ana's house through the back.

There's Fani, Grace, Dion, there. I sat down near them, joined in. Ana started talking.

"Mother Ratna said she would take the life of Mr. Malik's son for his benefit. And when Tamrin and I examined the body of Mr. Malik's son, I was shocked. The trail he left behind was different than usual." Obviously Ana.

"You mean, there's two people who did it?" Ask Fani.

"Me and Tamrin think like that. Traces of people who died first, there are traces of hands on his body. But this is different, there are scars and scratches everywhere." Ana said that explained.

"I understand now. Means, this is the first time Ratna's mother took a tumbal. Then, who's been taking the tumbangal in our village who?" I asked in wonder.

All my friends put their shoulders up, not knowing who did it. I'm also confused, I think if Ratna's mother is the real culprit.

"I think we should ask Ratna's own mother. What's the reason he's doing all this" Dion said.

"The problem is, Ratna's mother doesn't necessarily tell us. And I don't suspect anyone anymore, everyone looks calm." Reward Grace, giving her opinion.

I nodded, seeing that there were no suspicious citizens other than Mr. Mus and Ratna's mother. Which family did it again?

The next day...

Ana comes to Ratna's mother's house. She wanted to talk to him, I told her the address of Ratna's mother. Incidentally, Ratna's mother once told me before moving in.

Me and Fani, peeking through the bushes. We both made sure Ana was okay from a distance. Not long after, Ratna's mother opened the door. Wonderful to see Ana meeting at her house.

"What are you doing here?" Ask the indifferent Mother Ratna.

"Sorry, Ratna's mother. I'm gonna talk to you for a second, can you sit here?" Appoint Ana in the chair on the porch of Ratna's mother's house.

"Tell me," said Ratna's mother who was sitting in the chair next to her.

"I know, Ratna's mother who has taken Mr. Malik's son as a victim. Was it all this time, Ratna's mother ever taking anyone else again?" Ask Ana carefully. Me and Fani stayed focused on peeping.

"What's up, anyway?"

"I was just surprised. Traces of the bodies of Mr. Malik's children, different from the other traces. Like the two culprits."

"I'm not gonna say anything to you. You better get out of my house" said Ratna's mother who suddenly became angry. Ana was astonished, the feeling she was talking was fine.

Ratna's mother closed her house hard, then Ana came to me.

"In that case, we'll ask the stalk ourselves." I said that made Ana and Fani surprised.

"How do you do it, talk to kuntilanak?"

"There's gotta be a way. I'll find another way,"

"I know, we need to find the man who killed Marni. My grandmother said, Marni's hair was made a tool to control her. If we find Marni's hair that's been cut, we can figure out the culprit." Ana said with a brilliant idea.

"Then, when can we start?" My toot.

"Tonight too, it happened to be Friday night. We come to Marni's house, she's when we must have heard Marni's scream." Obviously Ana.

This time, Fani and I were silent. Instead, Marni's screams scare us so much. But instead, Ana chooses to hear it directly from Marni's house.

Her night...

Just me, Ana, and Fani in action. Dion and Grace did not come along, they were both working on something else.

"Ana, are you sure tonight?" I asked nervously. I've been to Marni's house before, but I'm still scared when I see her.

"Yes, Ana. Friday night, the most haunted night. All demons, ghosts, Jinn, devils are allowed to be free at will. Not only did we meet Marni, but all the ghosts who lived in Marni's house." Said Fani, who was more afraid of me.

"You guys are stupid. If you want to meet Marni, you have to come Friday night. Marni's spirit will definitely return to her home." Obviously Ana.

The three of us finally decided to enter. The sound of a volunteer rang and flew straight away as I opened the door of Marni's house.

Chequek..

The door opened slowly, and Marni's living room was stunned inside. I walked to turn on the lights. Even though the lights were alive, I was still afraid to step up. Eve on Friday night, feels different. Maybe because I already know, if Friday night is the most haunted night.

"We begin the search here" I said in a forced voice. Ana and I, looking for him at every corner of the chair. While Fani, following the books scattered on the floor.

While the three of us were busy searching, Marni's house lights suddenly became dim. I'm still thinking positively, probably because it hasn't been on for long. However, after the dim lights of the house Marni became bright again. My friend and I feel good.

"Have you anything?'" Ask Ana. Me and Fani answered with their heads shaken.

Ana sits on the sofa, while I help Fani who composes the books on the sofa table.

"A lot of books, Marni's read all this?" Ask Fani who compiled the book on the table.

"Marni likes to read, so it's only natural that she has a lot of books." I answered who was busy writing books.

Lamp in the living room, suddenly dead alive. Me and Fani started holding on. While Ana, looking around.

Drek..Drek...

The sound of the lamp booth when turned on and off. But I don't see anyone playing with lights. When the lights, sometimes on sometimes turn off, there are footsteps that lead to the living room. Ana and I looked back, because the rare sound of the legs was not from the outside. But, from the kitchen.

TAK...TAK...TAK...
