Angker Village

Angker Village
I'm sorry Rian

After feeling that something was interfering with my sense of smell, I woke up and slowly grabbed my head. I was already at my house. My father held the eucalyptus oil smeared on me.

"Dad, why am I here?" I asked, I should still be drowning near the waterfall.

"It's a good thing you're still conscious, while Rian, hasn't been conscious until now," my father's words left me in shock. I tried to understand his words just now.

"Rian, why yeah?" I asked in panic. I remember very well, if Rian survived.

"Sister Rian fainted, and until now he has not been conscious" replied Idar. As if I didn't believe her idols, she just wanted to worry me.

I ran to the mansion, even though my father was screaming for me. Worry, curiosity, everything mixed. My heart, so lost. I won't stop blaming myself, if anything happens to Rian.

Just in front of Rian's house, his mother came out with her sister.

"Tante, how's rian doing, he's okay, right?" I said in panic.

"Luis, you better go home and take care of your health,"

"No aunt, I want to see the condition of Rian," I said, pleading.

"Luis-a"

"Don't you dare, you're close to my son again!!" Papa Rian's voice loudly, made me turn towards him.

"It's all your fault, my son is like that" he pointed out.

"Bah, luis is not wrong anything," mama rian broke up.

"Not wrong? you still want to defend him, look at your son's condition now. Only his life did not drift," cried papa rian.

"You!! don't come here again. You're just an unlucky carrier for our family" he said before entering.

"Sorry luis, aunt's husband is furious, see rian's condition." Mama Rian said, taking my hand.

"It's okay, aunt, it's all my fault" I said, with a sad face. If only, when Rian asked for help and I helped him, none of this would happen.

But what's more, regrets always come at the end. I went into the house, not excited.

"How did my brother get the flush of death?" ask the idar who just came out of my room.

"I guessed it, Rian's dad was really grumpy. It's not my fault, brother luis,"

"Yes, I was wrong" I said, scowling and entering the room. I locked the room tightly, so as not to disturb anyone.

"Sister, open the door. Don't kill yourself" cried idar, as he pushed through the door.

"He's not going to kill himself, let it go" my father's voice sounded.

I stared at my room, blankly. The events that flooded rian, kept me thinking. I remembered the waiter at the waterfall, maybe I could go there.

"No, I should just ask my friends for help" I said, running out.

Dad and Idar, who were sitting in the living room, were astonished to see me. I left without saying goodbye.

I just stopped running when I got home. I guess Fani and Dion were there too.

"Luis, run out of the race?" ask Fani, who saw me raving.

"Running race, but nothing," taunted ana.

"But Luis is sweet and beautiful" said Dion, laughing.

I rested for a while, before talking to them. After feeling relieved, I just spoke.

"Hurry up and say it" said Dion.

"What help?"

"So, I went to the arter with rian. And rian was drowned, until now he has not been self-conscious," I said, explaining.

"Alhamdulillah," said Dion instantly, I stared at him intently.

"Dion, this is another grieving man, play thank you, please" said fani, patting Dion on the shoulder.

"Then what should we do?" said ana, who was waiting for orders.

"Take me to the other side of the village, find a cure for rian," I said, which made my three friends pause for a moment.

"Not wrong, the village opposite is notoriously haunted than our village" replied the fani in a frightened voice.

"No, if there's a lot of people, then ghosts will be afraid of us" I said, persuading them to help me.

"If the ghost comes in a lot, how about it?" Dion just blew the trouble.

"Living in ambush, will be fine," I said casually, I just wanted to talk.

"That's great, if that ambushes them. But what if we were ambushed?" This time, it was Anna who was scaring.

"Do you want to help or not?" I asked in annoyance, they always just reversed my words.

"Must want, ask for mercy too. Let me not be alone against ghosts" said Dion confidently.

Finally, my friends and I decided tonight to go to the opposite village. I don't know what we're going through, I have to be able to fight it. It's all for Rian's sake, so I can make amends.

Finally, the time waiting came. The moon shone brightly, wanting to follow us on an adventure in the opposite village.

"So ready to go, right?" ask my friends.

"Ready, don't worry, there's dion guarding,"

"If you don't run away either" I said insinuatingly.

"I'm sorry, it was a khilaf" he said with a smile.

We finally took a trip, on foot. Even if it is far away, I am still excited. Only a flashlight shone through the streets.

Just in the middle of the road, we were all made to creep with the sound of an owl chirping. I feel like my footsteps are getting heavier.

"Luis, you don't feel like anyone's following us?" ana said half a whisper.

I directly aimed my flashlight back, but found nothing.

"Don't ask a lot of questions, maybe it's just your feelings" said fani.

We continued on again, but it was very clear the sound of footsteps behind us.

TAK..TAK..TAK..

Me and my friends, stop to listen. His voice suddenly stopped as well. But as we all stepped up, the sound of footsteps sounded.

"We stepped up and went back to look at it" said Dion, who gave the suggestion.

We all agreed, we stepped up and turned around. And what we thought was right. He's right behind us.
