Chapter 19: Love Changes
Eric just got back from work, then went to the bar with Paul and Robert.
I had a long day today.
They relax while ordering some beer and snacks, and talk about other things besides office problems. The boss was furious, there was a staff from the marketing division who misreported the division spending calculation, we had to revise a lot of things as well, especially us from finance.
“What a day!!! Well what’s your plan for the weekend ?” ask Robert.
“Going to my mom? Maybe going around with my bike? I already bought that bike like two weeks and has’t try on it”
“Jezzz Eric. Why don’t you try tinder or anything like that? You are young and hot. I mean for one night stand could be good right?” paul said while chuckling.
“I like a girl. But I would love to wait for her.” I replied as I sipped a bottle of medium-sized beer.

That night Eric didn't go straight to sleep, he knew he was getting a long and tiring day.
Lately, Eric feels differently about Sarah. She knows Sarah already has Hugo, she is just into him so much.
Eric just flipped his body, and made the AC in his room cooler. Sarah is now with Hugo, she knows because she herself also helped find a ticket for Sarah to fly to Brisbane.
Should I call her? But ahhh. She must be sleeping or busy with Hugo, right.
Her feelings for Sarah seemed to be more than just a friend. Eric knew before that their relationship was very normal
But I don’t know when it starts to change.
Eric opens his gallery of cellphones and looks through his photos with Sarah.
She is pretty and cute.she is also smart.
But ah. Sarah couldn't have had more feelings for Eric. Everything is for Hugo... Hugo Van Rooyen's. Why is he so lucky? I should have been with him had I had this feeling sooner, but of course our age difference. All those thoughts were raging in Eric's head.
Huh?!. should I call her?!
Eric did not think long and immediately called Sarah.
How shocked Eric, who picked up his phone turned out to be Hugo. Eric spoke for a while and then hung up.
Damn it!!! What have you done?!
Eric turned around and tried to sleep...

The next day in Brisbane Australia.
Sarah had just woken up from her sleep, so exhausting the flight yesterday. He only looked at Hugo who was still asleep in his sleep.
He then checks the alarm on his phone, still eight and ten. Sarah was a little shocked because there were some messages from Eric and there was a call coming in last night.
“I’m sorry I called you... Hugo was picking that phone up. I’m sorry”
Sarah's heart was racing, hoping Hugo wouldn't get mad at her.
Sarah just sat back and replied to a message from Eric.
“ I hope he won’t be mad...” Sarah said on the message.
Mmmmmm...........
“Hey Babe good morning” Sarah says while hugging Hugo.
Hugo pushed Sarah slowly and avoided her embrace.
“What just happen?” ask Sarah in surprise.
“ Why don’t you ask Eric, why he was calling you at sleeping time . Like what the ****Sarah?!” hugo exclaimed as he got up and walked towards the bathroom.
“What the heck he just said on the phone anyway?! Jezzz Hugo don’t act like this! It’s not fair!”
Sarah just sat back in shock with Hugo's reaction which somewhat surprised her. He could not understand why Hugo was so angry.
“Hugo it’s not fair!!! We need to talk!!!”
“ OH YAA?! Why he gave you some crazy attention huh?!” hugo exclaimed loudly plus the sound of water from the shower that slightly interrupted our conversation.
Fifteen minutes later, Hugo came out of the bathroom looking at Sarah and took a deep breath.
Sarah looked back at Hugo with a sad look, confused and a little annoyed because the morning had already had breakfast scolding. He didn't fly all the way for a bad morning like that.
“Jezz Hugo!!! Talk to me!!!” exclaim Sarah.
“What’s the relationship between you two huh?! I mean I feel there is a different vibe!” hugo won't lose.
“ There is nothing going on between me and him. Why the hell I am here?! But never mind! I’m out. You are completely ridiculously serious! Like why the hell you should be jealous, I flew here for youuu!!!! For you!” said Sarah ketus then took her mobile phone and small wallet and then came out of the room and walked out.

Sarah wandered alone to the park near the hotel, walking then sitting on one of the park benches there. Look at the small lake in front of him.
“What actually happened last night? Why the hell he snapped at me like that?!” inner Sarah.
*Drrttt*

There was a phone call coming in, Sarah did not pay too much attention to who the phone was from because is still upset with Hugo's behavior earlier.
*Drrrtttt*
“Hello?!” sarah answered the phone with a sniffle.
“Hi.. it’s Eric. Are you okay? Hugo called me...” said Eric.
What else is this my inner.
“ Before you say anything crazy nothing happened last night. I didn’t say anything crazy or anything. But you need to know that I like you...” said Eric slowly.
Sarah was shocked and speechless unable to speak anything.
“ I didn’t know when it start but it just changed” continued Eric.
Sarah hung up the phone because she was shocked. He doesn't know what to say or what to answer. His friendship and kindness all this time seemed to be misunderstood by Erik.
Sarah's head was suddenly heavy and she decided to return to the hotel.

Twenty-five minutes later he was in front of the room. Sarah was a bit hesitant to go in and talk to Hugo. Sarah is desperate to have her relationship with Hugo run aground.
