Chapter 16: The Roller Coaster

At about one o'clock in the afternoon Sarah and I reached Dufan. I guess it’s the biggest theme park in Indonesia. We walked in to scan our barcode ticket.

I have bought two tickets online before so it should be yes as expected faster also I bought the VIP ticket. I realized Jakarta is way too hot, and Sarah has little bit allergic of hot weather and heat, her arms might be little red and itchy. I don’t want my poor baby stay on the line too long.

We tried several rides such as a comedy spin, roller coaster, haunted house, ship morning, ice age, and much more. I was so happy to spend time with her, so funny. We chatted lightly while waiting in line, buying ice cream and some snacks.

There were some funny incidents like some people asking for photos with me, because I was bullish. The beginning of me to Indonesia feels strange, it also feels annoying. So sometimes I have free and free time I want to. Sometimes some people just talk stuttering or shy to take pictures together. Sarah sometimes feels disturbed actually, because sometimes if I ignore them, these people might think my girl is possessive but actually not! It just annoying and takes our times a lot sometimes. It was getting dark and we decided to get out of Dufan. Then head to my rental car and head to one of the seafood restaurants near Ancol beach. The restaurant was very crowded, we had to wait about fifteen minutes to get a seat.

“ Babe what do you want to eat?” ask Sarah.

At this restaurant we choose our own fish and other marine animals that are still fresh and alive before cooking later.

“ I guess I want some girdled fish and the one you like.

“ Udaaanggggggg. hahahahah... Hugo.” said as he mocked me.

After we finished ordering our meal, we sat at a table with a view of the beach. I took her for walks around the beach and the bridge after dinner.

The night air in Jakarta is much more mending than during a very hot and scorching day. We walked on a wooden bridge, with some dim yellow lights. There were some couples like us or some families and they took pictures. Or just relax and enjoy the view.

“ Babe, do you love me?” my many.

“ Of course!!! Why the heck you ask me that suddenly ? Well I’m just worried if I will be super busy and we have lack of time to talk and chat.” he replied with a sad look.

I clasped his hand tighter, we then walked around again. Then sit on one of the public benches on the bridge. I looked at Sarah and smiled.

“ I love you... I don’t want to lose you. That’s all..” I said softly.

“ Me too...” replied Sarah while leaning her head on my shoulder.

We then talked about the future, the shape of the apartment we wanted or maybe the house. How many kids do we both want.

Just easy chill talk.... I love her that much no doubt. I knew the world would be tough for our relationship.

“ I will not give up on you Hugo, on us. I promise...” he said suddenly while looking into my eyes deeply.

I could see the vivacity of his words from the glare of his sharp yet gentle and sincere eyes.

“ I promise I will do anything for us to be together. I love you..” I said as I hugged her tightly.

I kissed her softly and deeply after that. We hugged for a while. Until another couple whistled at us. Yelled something in language...

Sarah just laughed.

“ Lets go back to the hotel babe..” he said while standing up and extending his right hand.

We walked down the bridge to the parking lot and back to the hotel.

At the hotel, we took a shower and took a shower. Then watch movies on tv, romantic comedy movies. We laughed a few times.

That night we watched two movies. Continue with play truth or dare. The game was pretty exciting and I think most of the honest questions built our relationship.

We did some funny and embarrassing dares. Like jumping like a toad or like I have to wear a lipstick red Sarah.

A couple of messages from Clara. This girl is so annoying my inner self.

*Some months ago in one of the campus aisles*

“Hey Hugo, don’t you leave me like that!!!” said Clara half-chasing after the marketing class was over.

“LOOK CLARA I DO NOT HAVE FEELINGS FOR YOU! Why don’t you just stop following me! We both only classmates and that’s all.. I have a girlfriend even though she is overseas.” I said as I walked away from her.

“ But she is so far in Indonesia. She won’t know anyway if we are dating!” clara said still.

“Whatever!” answer me while leaving him.

I really don't like Clara's nature, I used to be nice to her because she was a friendly friend and pretty smart. But my reward for kindness was misunderstood.

Sarah's not upset about this, because I told her everything about this crazy chick.

“ Hahahah.. crazy b*tch!” muttered.

“ Seems my boyfriend is super nice and handsome Hahahaha” Sarah said while teasing me.

“ Look I’m not mad okay.just don’t break my trust Hugo. You know the limit...” continued Sarah while looking at her closely.

“ I know.. don’t worry okay.” I replied as I clasped his hand and looked at Sarah gently.

“ Let’s just go to sleep, tomorrow we will have chill massage day!!!! I can’t wait!” sarah said excitedly.
