“Nathan, brother Sheril.”.
“.... Who do you call Nathan? It's obvious he's Neilson.” His ideal was still hugging the body of the man before him, and the bewildered Nathan was staring at Aleysia. However, Aleysia simply shook her head.
Not long after, the doctor arrived in the room, and Nathan asked Sheril to return to her bed. Then, the nurse put the infusion into the hands of Sheril who had been released. As Nathan retreated, at the same time Sheril restrained her steps by clasping her hand.
This made Nathan sigh, and the doctor immediately checked his condition. William told his daughter what had happened just now, after he had finished checking, the doctor removed his stethoscope, and put it back in his white coat pocket.
“He suffered such a huge trauma. He has not been able to accept the incident, and as a result his psychic is slightly disturbed.”
“But, my brother can go back to normal, right?” Aleysia.
“For the time being it is best that we follow what he wants. In order to keep her balance, let her think of this man as her husband, as time passes, everything will return, and she will remember it little by little. But, if we force it this time, I'm only afraid that it will have a bad impact on his health.”
Hearing the explanation made Aleysia step back, and the longer she left the room. Nathan, realizing this, was about to chase after him, but Sheril's hand was still holding him so tightly.
It wasn't Nathan, it was William the father who caught up with him. Aleysia sat on one of the hospital's garden chairs, her eyes down, and William rubbed the tops of her daughter's head while sitting by her side.
Aleysia's gaze was blank in an instant, and William felt perplexed by the current conditions. Then, he touched his daughter's shoulder, so that it made Aleysia turn, and hug her father. Without realizing it, her tears were dripping, even a small sobbing sound could be heard.
"Dad will think of another way. That way..."
"... What are you going to do? It's all too late. Brother Sheril sees Nathan as Neilson's brother. Whatever you do won't change Sheril's eyes on Nathan."
"But you can't sacrifice the happiness of one of your daughters just for the other. That wouldn't be fair to you, son!"
Aleysia rubbed her two wet cheeks, she seemed to catch her breath so deeply. Heavy, it's all very heavy. However, that was the only way he could do to restore the health of his brother, the charade.
"This failure is my fault. If I hadn't rented that car to them, maybe none of this would have happened. So, I'm the one who has to endure it all, and take responsibility for all of this, after all..."
"I'm sorry. But that's the only way we can do it right now. Sheril's brother already thinks of you as Neilson's brother, and that can't change. You heard what the doctor said. Anyway, this is only temporary. You want to do this charade? For my sake." Aleysia tightly grasped both of Nathan's hands, and Nathan was still speechless without looking at the girl by his side.
"Where could I possibly do that? I can't hurt you, Aley. Please understand! It's not as easy as you think!" Nathan let go of the grasp, and immediately stood his back to Aleysia who was still sitting.
"You don't have to worry about that, Nathan! I'll be fine, believe me!" Again Aleysia grasped one of Nathan's hands, until it made the man look back. "I beg you." Add it again, and Nathan sighed heavily.
"Well if that's what you want. I'll..."
"... thank you very much, me. mmmpph." Not wanting to hear him speak anymore, Nathan placed his lips right on Aleysia's lips. Tears came back from the girl's eyes, and realizing this made Nathan's heart feel a deep pain. Then, the man carried the girl before him into his arms.
"Let's get your brother's health back. That way, we can get married, and be happy forever." Nathan said, while Aleysia just nodded her head in the embrace, with tears still rushing there.
Later, Aleysia explained everything to Troy's father and family. The play will be done, and they agree, because it's for Sheril's health. Neither James nor Iriana would mind lending her son's name to Nathan, and the charade was ready for them.
Night fell, and Aleysia asked her father for permission to go home. It was a hard day for him, and he said he wanted to see Nathan's mother. That way, Nathan was ready to drive him, but Aleysia refused, and asked him to remain there.
"Let me keep Sheril here." William called.
"If Sheril wakes up tomorrow, and doesn't see Nathan by her side, she'll definitely look for him, and..."
"... okay I'll be here, and tell mom about everything!" Nathan sat there again. "Uncle should go home too." Changed again.
"Then I'll take you to Nathan's house."
They leave the hospital and leave Nathan alone. Truly, all these things had never been thought of in the minds of all of them. I don't know if Nathan or Aleysia can pull off all the charade. I don't know if all that drama will go well or vice versa. Only time can answer everything.
