The Storm 16

Elsa Halbert escorts Aleysia to her son's room. He tried to calm her down at that moment. Coulson Halbert was busy contacting all his subordinates and using the connections he had in London to find his son.

As a father, of course, there is a stored sense of worry even though the feeling is not as much as felt by Aleysia or Elsa's wife. However, he promised to punish his son if he had returned later.

Unknowingly, Aleysia was sleeping there accompanied by her mother Nathan. Looking at the tears dripping from one of Aleysia's eyes, Elsa rubbed it slowly. He occasionally stroked Aleysia's head, and smiled slightly. I don't know why he felt so lucky to know her.

“Nathan.” It was with a tone of voice that sounded so soft. “Mother, Nathan will definitely be back ‘kan?” Aleysia spoke again as her eyes opened again.

“He's definitely back, you don't have to worry! Now you rest!” Elsa said with a warm smile.

“Stay here, ma'am!” The impact again, and it was countered with a nod by Nathan's mother.

Elsa Halbert, she loved Aleysia as much as her own daughter. Right now, he was even singing a lullaby to Aleysia, hoping that she would fall asleep without thinking about anything.

When she fell asleep, Elsa placed a blanket on Aleysia's body. Afterwards, she approached her husband to ask him about the development of his son's search. However, until then, Coulson had not found any clues about his son.

Shortly after, his phone rang. Knowing one of his subordinates was contacting him, he quickly received the call, and deliberately activated his loudspeaker so that his wife could hear what he was about to say.

“....”

“Alright if so, thank you for your cooperation!” Coulson and Elsa seemed to breathe a sigh of relief when they heard the short conversation. However, it was clear that her husband's face was filled with such deep anger.

“It's late, you better get some rest! Don't you have a meeting tomorrow with some clients?”

“I won't sleep before that stupid kid comes back!” Now, Coulson Halbert seems to be very angry about his son's behavior. In fact, if her son did not worry Aleysia, she probably would not have done so.

The morning sun was approaching, Aleysia realized that. However, he refused to open both his eyes. As he turned around, he hugged a hand that could be confirmed if it was Nathan's mother's hand. In his sleep, again he groaned, and his voice sounded so bitter.

“Hey, what happened? Open your eyes!” Said the person beside him who was leaning back while rubbing the top of Aleysia's head.

“Mother, Nathan..” Aleysia hung up her words when she realized something was different. Then, he slowly opened his two eyes, after seeing the person before him, his eyes immediately opened wide. “... Nathan?” It cried hysterically, and it made Aleysia instantly scatter into his arms. “Tell me something, if the man in front of me is really you.” He then pinched the cheeks of the man before him.

“Argh your pinch really hurts stupid! What do you mean say that? If the other guy in front of you, you dare to hug him, huh?” He said with a tone of regret as he softened the forehead of the woman in front of him in order to get away from his body.

“I'm sorry. I promise I won't repeat it again. Speaking of Brian, can I borrow your phone to call him?”

“But promise me one thing!” Hearing Aleysia's revelation only made Nathan nod his head. “After talking to Brian, you should tell me what happened to you.” And again Nathan just nodded his head.

Nathan immediately contacted his best friend who made sure he must be confused there. Hearing Nathan's voice, certainly made Brian so upset, he even scolded him all out, and was eager to beat him up right then and there.

The conversation between the two was really interesting for Aleysia, she even let out a small laugh hearing their conversation. Seeing the woman in front of him laughing, Nathan hardened his jaw, and he immediately ended the call.

Now, her eyes were staring intently at Aleysia, and finding that gaze was certainly immediately making Aleysia shut up. Not only that, Aleysia pulled her blanket to cover part of her face, but the distance between Nathan and herself was getting closer, until there was almost no more distance between the two.

“Mother!” Aleysia pointed towards the door, and foolishly Nathan looked back. Seeing his negligence certainly made Aleysia immediately run away from the bed.

After escaping from the room, Aleysia headed straight for the kitchen, and she saw Elsa preparing breakfast. Seeing this immediately made her approach Elsa, and asked Elsa to get out of the kitchen, then leave the rest to her.

Elsa only smiled in response to Aleysia's request at that moment, she also rubbed one side of Aleysia's face which then pulled her out of the kitchen, she asked her to sit down, and Aleysia was really confused about it.

“I'm almost done, you better clean your body first! I still have some of your clothes left here. After that back to the dining room for breakfast together, you understand?” His speech.

“But ma'am..”

“... no but, quickly do!” Aleysia simply pouted her lips as her words in between. However, as per her request, Aleysia immediately cleansed her body.

From a distance he stared at Elsa with great sadness. She is thirsty for the affection of a mother, although when with Elsa she can feel it, there is still a different taste, but, and he was really jealous of Nathan who still had such a complete family. Unlike her, her mother Aleysia has been gone since she was 2 years old, she can't even remember what her mother's face looks like.

45 Minutes later, Aleysia returned to the dining room as Elsa requested, and there was already Coulson Halbert who was sipping his coffee while opening the newspaper, nathan was smearing his wheat bread with his favorite peanut butter.

“Hey, why stay there? Sit down, and eat!” Elsa's words scattered Aleysia's daydream, and Nathan immediately turned his head towards her. He felt that something was wrong with the woman, so he kept the bread, and came to him.

“What's up, hm?” He muttered as he clasped both of Aleysia's shoulders, and Aleysia only shook her head when she found the question. “You sure?” Further again.
