Chapter 6
In the afternoon Ali came home from work and she received a complaint from Alika about her mother falling in the bathroom. The house had two bathrooms, one in the main room and another in the back near the kitchen.
"How's Mom doing?" ali asked Ruqoyah as soon as he entered his room.
"You can see for yourself what kind of mother she is today" replied the woman who had given birth to Ali.
"Alhamdulillah, Mother was injured only a little while getting two stitches," said Ali tried not to exaggerate the incident earlier.
"Whatdidyou say? Alhamdulillahot. So, you're grateful your mother got the misfortune!" ruqoyah shouted with emotion.
"Astaghfirullah's. Of course I'm not grateful that Mom got hurt. I've imagined a no-no when I heard Mom fall in the bathroom" Ali said, holding Ruqoyah's hands and kissing her.
The middle-aged woman put on a sour face. He hoped that his son would scold Hafsah, even if it was necessary to divorce him. All the ways he was doing to separate the sons of Adam who were connected in marriage. Ruqoyah does not care about the great sin she will take if she succeeds in breaking the sacred bond bound by the covenant to God.
"You should as the child of the mother scold Hafsah who has been sullen. No becus taking care of the house!" he said it was full of hate.
"Then start tomorrow, let Ali clean the bathroom. So that no more wretched," said the shady man, smiling at his mother.
Ruqoyah fell silent, she was getting more and more annoyed at her son. He cursed in his heart to Ali.
'Still keep defending that barren woman! What makes you crazy about him? Beautiful ... There are still many beautiful women out there. Kaya ... she is a poor woman and has been orphaned. This must be Ali getting the Hafsah pellet! What else if it wasn't for this pellet?' inner Ruqoyah.

Ali and Hafsah did not discuss the incident that had happened to Ruqoyah earlier. Once in the room the man went to take a bath and the wife prepared all the needs of her husband. As soon as he finished he went to the mosque because soon entered Maghrib prayer time.
So even at dinner, no one discussed the accident in the bathroom. It was just that Ruqoyah sulked wanting to eat in the bedroom and ordered Padang rice. So inevitably Ali went to buy his mother's wishes.
After Isya, only Ali and Hafsah had time together to talk. Usually they will tell you what they have experienced all day.
"How does it tell you that you can fall in the bathroom?" ali asked, looking at my wife's face.
"I don't know how my mother fell. It's just that I cleaned the bathroom early this morning before going to the market," replied Hafsah afraid Ali thought that the bathroom had not been cleaned. Though every day it was brushed clean and rough.
"Abang knows that. You may be negligent with all your duties. It's possible that she slipped or daydreamed earlier, so she fell down" Ali said as she gently stroked Hafsah's face.
"Abang believes in you, honey. Brother beg you not to listen to the babble of the mother who always cornered you. I'm sorry, yes, dear. May your patience soften your heart" Ali said earnestly and Hafsah nodded.
Ali was very happy to have a wife like Hafsah. He promised inwardly that he would always try to make this woman happy for the rest of her life.
"Bang, I want us to be more active in this pregnancy program. I want to be able to get pregnant soon and make the mother happy" said Hafsah shyly and made Ali very anxious.
"Of course, honey. We pray that our efforts to get offspring can produce results," said Ali then gave kisses on the face of Hafsah.

Ruqoyah glanced cynically towards Hafsah who was cooking breakfast. It seems that Ali's wife is happy. His face looks radiant and sometimes smiles when colliding with anyone.
Like Ali said yesterday afternoon, he cleaned the bathroom. So that later his mother had no reason to look for Hafsah's fault.
During this time he and his wife had never been involved in a dispute. If there is a problem that happens to them, then the two will discuss and find a way out. In addition, they also rarely get problems related to the marriage bond. However, upon Ruqoyah and Alika's arrival to the house they create problems in Ali's marriage to Hafsah. Fortunately Ali is not the type of person who is easily swayed by the incitement of others. During his five years with Hafsah, he was familiar with the nature, character, gestures, and speech of his wife.
Only because Hafsah had not been able to give offspring to this family, Ruqoyah continued to accuse him of being a no-no. If only Ali had not obtained the mandate from his late father to continue to look after Ruqoyah and Alika until marriage, of course he would not have united Ruqoyah in one house with Hafsah. Ali's parents' house is sold for Alika's college entrance fee and the rest is still kept on deposit for Alika's wedding expenses someday. So, inevitably Ali had to bring her mother and sister to their home.
Ali and Alika are quite different ages. Ruqoyah married Said and Ali was born. When he was three years old Ruqoyah had an accident and Ali was taken care of by her paternal grandmother. In addition to working as a teacher Said also had to take care of his wife. For two years Ruqoyah could not walk and after that should not do anything heavy. Ali lived with her grandparents until Junior High. After that, he returned to his parents' house and school at STM.
So the nature and character of Ali and Alika are different because they get different education. Ali was educated firmly by his grandparents, but affectionately. That's why Ali obeyed the words of his grandparents. While Alika since the baby is cared for by baby sitters, because Ruqoyah can not hold Alika who is large and plump until the age of SD. Ruqoyah also often told Alika to become a famous girl and forced to participate in competitions from village to provincial level. So it is not strange if when entering Junior High, Alika became very attentive to her appearance and often participated in talented contests. Something Said did not like, but Ruqoyah was very supportive.
Ali deeply regretted Alika's nature and attitude that was not in accordance with his father's wishes. The girl would take cover behind her mother's back, if the father rebuked or advised her. Of course Ruqoyah would defend Alika desperately.
"Darling, you're gonna take a shower! You have breakfast first" Ali said, stealing a kiss on Hafsah's cheek.
Hafsah's face immediately turned red blushing because of her husband's behavior. She was embarrassed that her in-laws were sitting on the dining table chair.
"Express intimacy! Something changed, because it could not get pregnant," murmured Ruqoyah quipped.
"You must not forget Hafsah with our bet," continued Ruqoyah still with an annoyed face.
