Chapter 38. Believe Me!

Chapter 38

Hafsah and Ali's family visited the hospital informed by the police. His heart is uncertain at this moment. By the time they got to the ER room, Ali was already getting treatment. Head on the eel with a bandage, neck with a brace, and he's still unconscious.

"So, how's my husband doing?" ask Hafsah when the doctor comes.

"The patient had a mild concussion and got a few stitches. Then, some of the ribs are cracked as well as the shins. Maybe for a while the patient must first use a wheelchair or crutches during the healing process," replied the doctor.

"All vital organs no problem?" ask Hafsah again still with a worried expression.

"Thank God, ma'am, there's nothing to worry about. But, still the treatment will take a lot of time to recover as before," replied the doctor again.

Ruqoyah and Alika stared at the nanar towards Ali. Sarah and her parents also visited. They also feel sorry when they see the situation of Ali.

At night, only Hafsah guards Ali in the hospital. Now the man has been moved to the ward. 

"Darling," called out to Ali weakly as he opened his eyes.

"Bang," Hafsah replied with a faint smile when she saw her husband had regained consciousness.

"There is something you want to tell me" said Ali still with his weak voice.

"Don't talk much. It is better to rest so that it heals quickly" said Hafsah with a pushy look.

"No. This is very important and you have to tell me" Ali refused to follow his wife's wishes.

Ali's hand held Hafsah's hand and placed it over his chest. Hafsah can feel the heartbeat of the husband whose rhythm feels stable.

"At this time my brother is having difficulties, because of my brother's carelessness until something happens that can be prevented and stopped," I Ali with a sad look to Hafsah.

The couple stared at each other. Hafsah's heart still ached from the recall of her husband's photos and videos with other women. While Ali was feeling disappointment and frustration because the incident had made him judged badly by most people. He did not want Hafsah to be one of them.

Hafsah knew what her husband meant in which direction. However, she chose to be quiet first let her husband do the defense of himself.

"Yesterday you know there's something strange about your brother, right? And you know that it's because of the effects of the war drug_sang," asked Ali.

Hafsah knew that because her husband had already told her his feelings last night after they finished making love somehow. She knew that her husband was under the influence of war drug_sang yesterday.

Hafsah just nodded without saying a word. His mouth was locked to make a sound.

"Sister tell me in full and detail. So, listen carefully," said Ali and Hafsah nodding.

Ali also recounted the arrival of Sarah and her mother to the office and forced her to take lunch together. Hafsah heard every word that came out of her husband's mouth. Until Ali came to his house to fulfill his desire for his wife.

"I'm sorry, brother. There is absolutely no intention of touching anyone but you. If by hitting both of these hands and this mouth can make you happy and satisfied, just do it. Brother is sincere to get a punishment as long as you want to trust his brother and not get into the snare of his slander" Ali said with tears.

Hafsah kissed Ali's hand and kissed her lips. She felt hurt for what happened to her husband. She thought about why some bad guy would want to slander her husband. Though this man always does good and does not like to do harm to others let alone do evil.

"I forgive all that because this is not your wish. I am thankful that God is still guarding you from further action" Hafsah replied with tears.

"Help my brother to expose the truth of this slander. Had your brother's vision not blurred from seeing Sarah as you do, you would never have touched her or kissed her" he asked his wife.

Hafsah will also look for the existence of the circulating video. He also suspected this was deliberately spread to destabilize his household life.

Sarah couldn't sleep because she kept thinking about Ali. He was sad to see the state of the man he loved. He really wants to get married with his heart. Though he thought that today he and his parents could pressure Ali to marry him. However, something that did not cross his mind instead happened. Ali had an accident and is now being treated in a hospital room. 

"Now what should I do? You have to wait to get out of the hospital first to continue this matter." Sarah kept on talking alone.

"Why do I feel in vain has spent a lot of money to make and spread this incident" continued Sarah monologue.

Sarah paid several people ranging from buying war drugs_sang, renting restaurants and hotel rooms, bribing hotel cctv supervisors, food that is very expensive because it wants premium materials. Paying people to upload videos and spreading the netizens.

"What else do I have to do to get Ali?" ask Sarah to herself.
