Chapter 56

Hafsah and Ali went to dinner together at a restaurant tonight. It just so happened that Ruqyah was going on a pilgrimage with the study mothers.

"Darling, you have to eat a lot, yeah!" ali said while feeding his wife.

Of course, pregnant women want to eat a lot of fish fed by the husband. Lately he has become very spoiled and has always wanted to be noticed.

"Assynriding, Alika. What are you doing?" ask Ali.

"Wa'alaikumsalam, Brother. I just finished dinner" replied Alika across the street.

"Are you home or outside?" tanya Ali returned with eyes glancing towards the Bimo family.

"Eat night at home, brother. Why?" ask Alika back.

"Oh, I thought you were having dinner outside. Actually, your brother and sister are eating out right now. Maybe you want something, maybe a snack?" 

"Hmmm, I want bika ambon."

"You've been pregnant ever since you've loved eating bika ambon. Okay, I'll buy you later" Ali said before ending talks with her sister.

Hearing Alika's cheerful voice did not make Ali worried. He was afraid that his sister would be treated arbitrarily from the Bimo family.

"I'm worried about the future of Alika's household" Ali said.

"Be assured, that God will give the best soul mate for us. Every life has its test, whether it be tested with pleasure or with sorrow and suffering. Hopefully Alika can go through all the trials that happened to her," said Hafsah while holding her husband's hand.

Ali nodded, he was tested with distress in his household. Every day the pain of the mother's actions to Hafsah, his wife. However, now the fruit of the test he gets great pleasure, namely his two prospective children and a much better change of mother. Of course all that must be passed with patience and prayer that is never interrupted.

"I hope that with the hijrah of Alika, everything that happens to her is always in the pleasure of Allah. He can also live his life by surrendering to God. Want it something good or bad" said Ali.

Hafsah also often talked to Alika about their baby who was still in their stomach. Habits during pregnancy, and what cravings. If Alika used to like to talk in a cynical or sniffy tone, now much changed to meek. This is something that Hafsah is very grateful for.

Alika was confused what to say to her brother. If it's Bimo's show and his son is also his first wife. He was not invited to participate. 

"I had dinner together with my mom at home. Then it's impromptu and I've been cooking, it's a pity that cooking isn't eating. It's not that we shouldn't waste food while there are starving people out there" Alika replied.

Hafsah could see there was sadness in the eyes of his sister-in-law. However, he should not interfere if it was a family matter. Unless, if Alika asks him for an opinion.

"If there's anything tell brother," said Ali and Alika nodded.

Alika content has entered the age of eight months and Bimo has two months ignored him. Even these two months have never met. On the phone, I often say I am busy.

Indeed for two more months this Bimo did not stay at home. Reason is busy developing new companies out of town. So can't go home.

"Alika, now her husband and wife are having lunch with a small child who often takes pictures with you" Niken said by phone.

"Lecture hours come in this morning. Now I'm having lunch with my fiancee" answered Niken. The girl is not dating anymore. He is always monitored by his parents and his parents.

"Thank you for telling me. For Mas Bimo's business let it be my business" said Alika.

"I as your friend feel sad. Why are you needed that way. Your husband is an cheating man. So, you have to be ready who knows who will have a third wife later," said Niken and Alika instead laughed.

Hafsah and Azizah had just finished buying necessities for the children at the school where they were teaching. Despite being pregnant, Hafsah still teaches.

"We had lunch there, yuk!" bring Azizah.

"I called Bang Ali first if I'm going to eat here. Who knows, he might eat. My husband has lost his appetite this week because he was too tired to work. Lately the hotel is always crowded with events and parties. Until the next two months the hotel's ballroom rental schedule is full on booking," said Hafsah while fiddling with his cellphone.

Ali came to a restaurant that his wife had told him about. As soon as he entered he saw Bimo was with Anggun having lunch, whereas Alika said that Bimo was busy outside the city. 

"Assalamualaikum" Ali told Bimo and Anggun.

The two men looked up when they saw Ali. It is clear that both are clumsy with the presence of Ali and Hafsah there. 

"Mas Bimo .. Kak Ali?" Alika stood behind Hafsah.

"Alika," said everyone did not expect the presence of the woman who was pregnant.
