My House of Resilience

My House of Resilience
Chapters 30. Deck, Let's Refer

The news of Tanti's return to her old house reached Ari's ears. The man smiled happily. At least his efforts have needed results. During the holidays, he plans to go home to see his ex-wife.

Her second marriage made Ari tired. Marlena is not like Tanti who is always patient even though Ari has often hurt her. The entertainment is only this one time. He went home and gave what he had missed to his ex-wife. Then, Ari asked him to refer back.

Before going there, Ari spends his ex-wife fruits. He hoped that when he got there, Ari would be spoiled with various foods. Including the fruit he was carrying at this time.

"Will be happy if I surprise you. It's been a long time since I've been happy with him."

One red crackle contains the fruit he has bought. The car was also placed on the bike. He did not go straight home to his parents but immediately stopped by Tanti's house.

***

The roar of the motor voice heard by Tanti made her wonder.

"What else did he come here for?" ask Tanti to herself.

The sound of the door being knocked. I can tell who is coming. Actually he didn't want to meet her, but as a good host, he opened his door.

"Dek," said Ari. His hand with a large red crackle was handed over to Tanti.

Tanti wanted to reject him, but could not bear it. He must have taken it with his pains.

"Thank you, Mom" he answered.

"I'm not welcome to come in?" ask Ari.

The status of those who have separated makes Tanti rattled. Actually as a good host, Tanti could have invited in. However, he is uncomfortable.

"Sorry, Mas. Better just be outside."

Ari frowned. He understands the situation that Tanti is indeed taking care of herself. Ari misses the happy times together. However, regret is still the end of a consequence of actions that have been done to Tanti.

"Thank you."

Ari sat on a chair made of tiles that had long been on the porch of her home. For a moment he was silent. Don't know what to say. Looking around his seemingly unkempt home made him a little sore.

"The kids aren't looking for me?" ask Ari.

"No. They know that our relationship is over. What do you expect from children? Do you think because they are not your children that you can treat them like that?"

After officially lifting them into the responsibility of his family, Ari suddenly turned into a figure that sucks. Forgetting the living for the wife's children, then choosing the two until finally married again. The right nickname is a bastard husband who is no longer worth defending let alone fighting for.

"It's not like that, Deck. Are you still angry with me? I am a khilaf. Because of me, you're the one who endured all the suffering I've given."

"It's conscious! Then, why else come here? Want to get in trouble?" tuding Tanti's.

She looks different in her eyes. After a long time of not meeting a quiet and submissive woman, apparently she became a slightly chatty and adorable person.

"Don't do it, Deck! I miss you."

Hearing her seduction, Tanti felt anxious to vomit.

"Even though I'm not very good, but I know one word that can reply to all that you say, Mas. You think I'm a stupid woman?" reply to Tanti fiercely.

"What, Deck? I want to hear from that sweet mouth of yours," said Ari again.

"Bulshit!"

Glug.

"Oh yes, Mas. If you're done, you better go home now. I still have a lot of work to do." Tanti deliberately drove him out so that her ex-husband knew himself.

"Wait, Deck! I still miss."

"Well, Ma'am Tanti her husband came home, well," said a neighbor who happened to pass by. "You want to show off the affection in front of us?"

It felt even more upset until he finally told the truth.

"Sorry, Ma'am. We're divorced. If you have any interest in my ex-husband, please!"

Gluey!

Ari felt like covering her face right then and there. At first people didn't know anything to do with Tanti. However, this time it seems that Tanti herself dismantled it.

"Well, if it's like that, there are usually moments to refer to, Ma'am. Please continue to remember her past. Who knows if my prayer works so you can refer back."

The mouth of the neighbor does not have a suitable brake. Especially duct tape to silence them. His mouth was so elastic that he did not know how Tanti was holding back from being upset.

"You'd better go home now, Mom!" For the second time Tanti drove Ari out directly.

"I still want to talk to you, Dek. In addition, my purpose here is to bring you some of these fruits so that you will make me sweet. I'd like to eat your handmade sweet prajak."

Gluey!

How insolent. Who's pregnant, who's got the sap? Tanti stood up from her seat to enter the living room and took back the red crackle that was there. He placed it right on the seat beside Ari who was sitting.

"Bring this back by you. I don't need. If you're only here to mock me, you better go home to your wife!"

Which woman does not become emotional. Despite trying to hold back, in fact Ari seemed to keep mocking him. Tanti is not a perfect woman, but she also has self-esteem.

"Oh yeah, one more. Don't ever come here again!"

Tanti steps in, but Ari's hand prevents her.

"Don't touch me, Mas!"

"Dec, sit down first. We're talking good. Don't be like this! There's something important I want to tell you. Just listen for a second. Sit down, yeah."

Stay silent not shaking. However, she managed to shake the hand of her ex-husband.

"Sir, after Marlena gave birth, I want to divorce her."

Gluey!

What else is this? Could this be a sign that Tanti and Ari will re-refer?

"Why would you divorce her?" ask Tanti.

It should be enough for Tanti to be the victim. Moreover, Marlena will soon have children. Poor son.

"She's not a good woman to me, Dek," Ari replied lowered her head.

Plok plok.

"Well, you're great, Mom! You used to say that I was a useless woman, not very good at managing finances, wasteful, and much-wanted. You've always hailed Marlena as the perfect woman. She can get pregnant, serve you well, and have no blemish at all. Now what? You want to divorce her just because her attitude is starting to change? Well, you're a champion-one guy, Mas!"

Ari is still down. His attempt to reconcile with Tanti seemed to experience a direct rejection.

"Dek, let's go!" He looked like a child who lost a balloon.

Tanti was so sick of hearing that.

"You better go! Forget your crazy idea!"

It's been hurting for so long, now it's gonna lick its own spit. Tanti until whenever reluctant to return to the husband of a bastard like Ari who just want to be good.
