My House of Resilience

My House of Resilience
Chapters 16. I Want to Divorce, Mom!

A few months did not set foot in the house. Suddenly Ari wants to go home. After enjoying the happiness of her marriage with Marlena, she does not know that every distress Tanti gets because of her actions. Ari is never fully responsible for his legal wife and adopted children.

Ari did not care, but this time it felt like coming home to just greet his unreliable wife. However, the house that Tanti lives in is her labor as well. He is also his legal husband. Ari has no intention of divorcing his wife. Just leave it like this. Her sir's marriage relationship is fine. I don't demand this or that.

His desire to go home was allowed by Marlena. Ari couldn't stay quiet without saying goodbye to her. That was why he was currently able to get home without the stealthy drama of his sir wife.

All this time, Ari thought everything would be fine. In fact, when he got home, Ari was surprised by a large crossbar in front of his door so it could not be opened. The writing 'foreclosed' was plastered real there. However, he did not know what it meant. Could his wife already owe the Bank so that the Bank confiscates all property owned by the debtor?

Ari is actually furious to see his house confiscated, but he does not know the actual chronology. Therefore, before meeting his wife, he must seek information to the neighbors first.

"Sorry, where's Tanti?" ari asked one of the neighbors she met.

"Well, Mas Ari just got home, anyway! Aunt Tanti has long since left home because the loan shark seized, Mas."

The deg!

Apparently not a bank, but even a loan shark. It feels weird like this. He usually goes home and meets his wife. Although there is no talk between the two, but for Ari, home is the most important thing.

"Why did it get confiscated?" The curiosity is getting higher.

"Anu, Mas, Mas Ari rarely come home. Tanti works her own bones, but not enough for her daily needs and also her two children. Kan Mas Ari rarely comes home."

"Thank you." Ari did not want to extend his talk. Maybe the neighbor will discuss their second marriage. He hurried to his in-laws' house. He'll look for her there. The only possible place in his mind.

Sure enough, Tanti was there. In front of her in-laws house, there was a small stall. Tanti was also seen there to arrange some of his goods. While busy taking care of her things, Tanti does not know that Ari has come to see her.

Ari did not dare to say hello first so their view was locked.

The deg!

Tanti who had been trying to forget her husband who was a jerk, in fact more and more arrogant when she saw his arrival.

"You remember coming home, Mom?" greet Tanti with a voice wrapped in wounds. The voice he had been holding back.

Ari broke into her in-laws' house. He will not likely fight in front of the house that will invite the attention of his neighbors. He immediately sat down before being welcomed by Tanti as the son of the owner of the house.

Silent.

"Where have you been all this time?" ask Ari.

"Whatchu mean? I should have asked you, Mom. Where have you been all this time?" Repeating her husband's question. If Ari can be angry, why not with him? All the distress that Tanti experienced would not have happened if Ari was not selfish. It's actually too late.

"You dare to fight me. Don't think after what happened, I'll forgive you" he said as if he had no faults at all.

Smile and then laugh for a while. "You blame me? You useless man!"

Gluey!

Tanti had not only insulted him, but had already dropped her pride to the bottom of the abyss. Ari who basically did not want to be blamed for what happened just kept trying to corner his wife.

"You're a useless wife, Tanti. If the husband works, the house and property should be well guarded. Look, all this time I've been quiet because the whole house is slowly selling. What's that for? What is less with the living that I have been giving? I got bored of you over time. After all the property you sell, now the house is also deliberately you leave it to the loan shark. Where's your brain all this time? It's only right if I'm lazy to go home. That's because you can never please your husband. Every day always makes my husband dizzy with all the demands you make on me."

Gluey!

The one who deserves to be angry is Tanti, not Ari. In fact, it is Tanti who was attacked repeatedly by Ari. The husband should be able to protect, provide comfort, happiness, and meet all the needs of his wife. But not for Ari. I don't know, where his petty thoughts came from so everything Tanti did was always wrong in his eyes.

Ari never knew how Tanti struggled all this time to survive. Retaining his two adopted children who have become his responsibility. She lost her self-confidence, tried to rise from adversity, and now her husband intimidates as if all Tanti's faults were her own.

"Satisfied are you talking about it, Mom? Don't think I didn't know everything you were doing out there. I'm silent doesn't mean I'm stupid, Mom. I struggle to support myself and the kids, while you're having fun with Marlena. In fact, you're also married to him, aren't you?"

Ari calm. Sooner or later his wife will find out about her marriage.

"Then you blame me for everything that happened? You have to introspect yourself, Tanti. I did this I thought you would apologize to me, but instead you continued to act as if you could live life independently. You need a husband too, right? Don't be selfish, Tanti!

Oh, my gosh. I want to curse her husband right now. Tanti's defenses have collapsed since her husband's betrayal. This time all the blame was centered on him as the source of the problem. Tanti's struggle was never appreciated at all. The marriage hell that Ari has created deliberately even he who does not want to admit it. What a damned husband!

"Ck, Mas, Mas. I don't think it out, yeah. What food did Marlena give you that you turned into this? Where's your wedding vows? You promised to live with me always in joy and sorrow. You are my pain, Mom! You caused all this to happen. You're an unjust husband, Mas!"

Patience has disappeared. Tanti is getting louder. The suffering her husband had inflicted was already too deep. Meeting instead of solving the problem, but it adds to the problem.

"Already, Mas. Forget all my words just now. If I'm wrong in your eyes, just keep blaming me. Let you be satisfied. I'll release you from all the responsibilities you've lost over the years. I want a divorce, Mom!"
