Sekeluannya Aminah grandmother from Sumber Sari puskesmas, about to return home, he immediately remembered if he had been given money of Rp. 20,000 for the fare of returning by a kind Mother named Ibu Zubaidah.
But at once also Aminah's grandmother remembered that the rice supply in her house was exhausted. He finally decided to use the money given by the mother of Zubaidah to give rice even though it means he had to go home on foot a considerable distance with the condition of his body is not healthy.
Aminah's grandmother then planned to use the money to buy rice that was seen being traded in several stores around the place. After asking some shops around the puskesmas it turns out that the amount of money is only enough to buy a maximum of 2 liters of rice which is currently priced in stores has reached Rp. 9.000/litre.
The amount is only enough for the needs of eating himself and his two grandchildren for one day only. Therefore, he finally abandoned his intention and immediately continued his journey to return home on foot.
Step by step Aminah's grandmother who had been seen shaking it walked down the street from Sumber Sari puskesmas to her residence which is 300 meters away. The scorching sun that afternoon felt stinging on the skin so that it did not feel the body of the grandmother of Aminah was bathed in sweat.
Thirst and sultry that ambushed him should he bear where when there are still tens of meters left again the distance he must travel to be able to soon arrive at his hut. Not infrequently he rested for a moment his weak body under the shady trees he met along the road to his hut.
Until finally Aminah's grandmother arrived in a village that was close to her village. He passed a house and there was a resident who was drying something in his yard.
Aminah's grandmother then rebuked her,
“Nak is drying what?” asked the grandmother of Aminah to the person named bu Homsiah in his 40s, who was seen drying something in the yard of his house.
“Eh, Aminah's grandmother.” said those mothers who turned out to recognize him.“This I am drying leftover rice that is not inedible nek.” He replied while looking busy cleaning his clothesline (leftover rice).
“Ko a lot ya son, rice the rest!” exclaim grandma Aminah.
“Iya nek, the habits of the people of the restaurant like a little so the rice is always left a lot.” he said.
“Grandmother where is it?” ask Ms. Homsiah.
“Grandmothers out of treatment from Sumber Sari nak puskesmas. Oho,,, oho, oho.” he replied while sounding coughing.
“Grandmother came home from Sumber Sari puskesmas there on foot?” her tanya looked astonished and in disbelief.
“Iya son, grandma to there commute on foot.” sahut.
“Sumber Sari health center is a long way from here, Grandma, why do not take ojek only?, from here to there is only Rp. 10,000.” he said giving advice to grandmother Aminah.
Money Rp 10,000 for grandmother Aminah is not just “Cuma”. Money with a nominal amount that he can use to buy the needs of eating himself and his two grandchildren one day.
As for other people like Bu Homsiah, such a large amount of money is nothing anymore because they are able to get it easily.
“Grandmother is still strong on foot, so there is no need to ride ojek.” kilahnya.
Then Aminah's grandmother asked Bu Homsiah again,
“Nak if you can know this dried rice later for what?” ask grandma Aminah curious.
“Begini nek, than the rice that is often left in my house is stale and discarded, I better dry it and not be stale to be used as animal feed.
Coincidentally I kept some ducks behind the house.” he replied giving an explanation.
“So this rice is dried so that it is dry and not stale to then be used as animal feed!” exclaim grandma Aminah.
“Iya nek, I could pretty much blow the expenditure for my duck feed purchase. Heeeeeeeee.” replied Ms. Homsiah while she looked up.
“If grandma wants to buy about how much per kilogramnnya nak?” ask grandma Aminah.
“This I do not sell nek.” replied Bu Homsiah.
“Of course you want to buy this rice for what, have livestock too?” tanyakanya.
“Heeeeeeeee,,granny is interested to buy just son. After all, this Homsiah boy has a lot of rice stock like this every day.” replied Aminah's grandmother.
“Bby also nek, the price I offer Rp. 3,000 per kilogram, how?” tanya ma'am Homsiah offers.
Got the offer, Grandma Aminah seemed to think for a moment, then she said,
“The price can go down no son, later will grandma buy aking rice subscription here?” asked Grandma Aminah to bid.
“Ya already nek, the price I lower to Rp. 2,000 per kilogram. How's nek?” said Ms. Homsiah again gave an offer.
“Alright then, grandma buy 10 kilograms yes nak.” said grandmother Aminah agreed on the price offered by Bu Homsiah.
Then Homsiah maam stuffed 10 kilograms of rice into a sack container with a total price of Rp. 20,000, then Aminah's grandmother paid him with the money he received from someone named Bu Zubaidah who had kindly given him money while at Sumber Sari health center some time ago. After paying him, Aminah's grandmother went back on her way home.
