Sipisopiso waterfall is located at an altitude of about 1,300 meters above sea level. The name Sipisopiso is taken from the name of a mountain located just northeast of SiPiso-piso waterfall.

The mountain, also called SiPiso-piso mountain, has a height of about 1,860 meters above sea level.
