Our Secret

I was astonished and confused when Mr. Al asked me to keep his recovery a secret. He did not explain clearly the reason behind his plan.

"It's important to keep it a secret first" he said with a firm tone and a serious look.

I want to reject what he's planning. However, seeing his sharp gaze made me stop protesting.

I gulped with difficulty while nodding with force. After all, this is his life and I'm sure that Mr. Al has his own plans.

"Yes, Sir." I replied to him and promised to keep his recovery a secret. "What ... can't you tell Bik Sri too, sir?"

I would love to tell this good news to Bik Sri. Wasn't that woman someone important. Bik Sri has been with Mr. Al for a long time, even taking care of his master from childhood.

Bik Sri must be one of the people waiting for Mr. Al's recovery. He would also be very happy to hear this good news.

"Whoever, Ay," replied Mr. Al with emphasis.

If this is the case, I certainly can't dwell. Inevitably, I must silence my two lips, if necessary sewn together so as not to speak to anyone.

"Good." Mr. Al nodded steadily. There was a faint smile on his lips. And I, of course, immediately blushed to see it so.

I don't know, we've been together three months. Stay home together and sleep in the same bed. Mr. Al was also nice to me. However, this heart just keeps racing fast when you see the charming smile. I also often get along with him when I'm close to him.

I don't know when I can be ordinary. In fact, Mr. Al's charm has broken my power. Now I am so weak in front of him.

The ringtone from Mr. Al's phone stopped our chat. I rushed to get the flat object, Samuel's name shimmered on the phone screen.

"Who?" Mr. Al looked at me seriously.

I immediately gave her that flat object. "Samuel" I said.

As long as Mr. Al talked on the phone, I chose to go into the bathroom.

If the phone is important, I really don't deserve to know what they're talking about.

Five minutes later, I got out. Apparently, Mr. Al hasn't finished his chat over the phone. This time, the man had been sitting on the sofa with a laptop in front of him placed on the table.

For a moment, I was confused as to how. The initial intention here was to invite him to eat. However, looking at him seriously once I no longer know how to offer food to Mr. Al.

I sat on the edge of the bed with both hands tied to each other on my lap. Wanting not to pay attention to Mr. Al any more seriously. From what I've heard, they're talking about leadership and takeover. I don't know what that means?

"You're still here?" Mr. Al's question blew a thought in my head.

"Yes, Sir."

I just found out that when Mr. Al was being serious like that, he wasn't aware of the people around him.

"I thought you were down."

Right, he thinks he's alone in here. I didn't realize I was waiting for him.

"The food just wants to take you here, yeah. I'm lazy to go down." After saying that, Mr. Al refocused on his laptop.

"Okay, sir, I'll get it first." I had moved from sitting and was about to open the door when suddenly Mr. Al's voice came back while blocking my wrist.

"Where are you going?"

"I'd like to eat for Mr. Al." I answered nervously.

His hand was so tight it held my wrist. Like a little boy who didn't want to be left alone coupled with his pitiful gaze it made me blush in shame.

"But, Mister. Kasian Bik Sri if you have to go back and forth"

"Tell the other waiter. The waiter here isn't just Bik Sri." The man sounded sulky.

I nodded in agreement, then as I was about to step near the bed. Mr. Al just tightened his hand.

"Where else are you going?" lamented annoyance. "You can't, anyway, sit on them?"

"I'd like to sit on the bed, sir."

Mr. Al pulled my hand. "Sit down here!" he said he gave me an order that I follow.

Next, he called the waiter using his phone then refocused his gaze on the screen. While I was, like a statue sitting still. More precisely, a sculpture.

A few minutes later, I breathed a sigh of relief as the waiter came to bring us our lunch.

Mr. Al asked me to move his laptop on the bed, while he waited for the waiter to arrange the dishes on the table.

After the waiter left, we enjoyed lunch in silence.

"Who's cooking?" ask Mr. Al on the sidelines.

"I, Sir. Deliberately cook a lot for Master. Uh, the master doesn't even eat downstairs." I purposely explained what was going through my mind.

"Oh yeah? Do we need to eat downstairs now?" ask her seriously.

"No need, sir. It's the same, though." I shook my head violently, both hands in front of my chest moving in the same motion.

I looked back at the food, uncomfortable being stared at in such a way by that beautiful man. "Eat again, sir."

"Taste you good. I like it."

That's my next day. Mr. Al looks more and more healthy and fresh. Every day we still do therapy outside the house and I will help him sit in a wheelchair, like before he recovers completely. Especially when Madam Sekar comes. Mr. Al did not leave the room.

I don't know what happened, I don't understand that either. The more days, Mr. Al looks increasingly busy with his phone and laptop. Even at night I often find him overtime and sleep late at night.

One day, Mrs Sekar visited our room. I purposely got out of there because I didn't want to bother them.

And when I entered again after an hour out of the room, I found Mr. Al who looked disheveled. From that day on, he was getting late in his work. I was worried to see how he was.

Mr. Al even forgot his meal time. Perhaps, if I did not forcefully feed the man, he would not eat at all.

Mr. Al moves out of bed when he goes to the bathroom, that's all. And then he'll be struggling with his job again.

"Sir, is the job not done yet?" ask for heart. I'm very worried about his condition.

"Awhile more. You just sleep. It's already night."

"Master, it's been a month you've been like this. And it's been a month anyway we've never been out of the house-"

"I'm really busy and I hope all this will be over soon. You sleep."

I let out a sigh. "alright. But, if you need anything. Please wake me up."

I lay down on my back to the man, and closed my eyes. Hopefully, tomorrow there will be a miracle for all Mr. Al's work to be completed.
