Eat Both

Tonight, I helped Bik Sri cook in the kitchen. Remembering how Mr. Al ate so voraciously what I made for him excited me to learn to cook. It would be nice if every dish I made was devoured by that man.

After serving food to the dining table, I said goodbye to Bik Sri to enter the room. After cleaning myself up, my foot stepped into Mr. Al's room. In ordinary circumstances like this –nothing urgent - then I entered through the main door not through the secret door. I'm sure, one day Mr. Al will have a problem with the secret door in his room. Inevitably, it disturbs his privacy.

Get well soon, sir. It's a pity that your handsome face is if your condition does not improve soon.

“Master,” called me in a slow voice then turned the handle of the man's room door. Pushing the door slowly, my head turned into the room. Make sure there's someone inside.

I entered slowly and closed the door carefully when I saw Mr. Al sitting on the bed with his head resting on the headboard. On his lap was a book with open sheets. Mr. Al is focusing on reading.

I stared fixedly at the sight and then I stored it in the memory of my head. After shaving, Mr. Al's good looks increased many times. My heart beats not because it was made. Duh, I could have a heart attack if this continues.

Don't baper, Ay. Don't baper. Don't fall in love, please! Remember your main purpose in this house.

I cast that magic spell over and over again. Strengthening the heart so as not to fall out and then scattered on the floor. Not very funny. Really not funny.

“Master,” call me carefully. I know that Mr. Al will be angry if his liking is disturbed.

I salute the man in glasses. Although his soul is disturbed, but he did not forget his hobby of reading it. Ah, that guy deserves the nickname the handsome nerd. I giggled at myself with the nickname I had just pinned to the handsome man.

“Ngapain you? Like a madman.” Mr. Al looked up from his reading book. But, right, his sharp eagle eyes are now turning to look at me.

“Master wants to eat under?” askaku. I bit my inner lower lip, realizing that my language was impolite to her. Should use the formal language earlier, if necessary the standard language in accordance with the Dictionary of Indonesian Language.

“Put this book back into the closet.” Mr. Al closed his book and lifted the thing called the window of the world and pointed it at me.

Not wanting to waste any time, I immediately stepped closer to the bed. Taking the book out of Mr. Al's hand and then stepping towards the bookcase in the corner of the room, put the book into a section that still looks empty.

“Not there!”

I looked up when I heard that call. My forehead wrinkled in an attempt to ask silently to the source of the voice.

“Put to the very end,” said Mr. Al gave an order that I immediately followed with all my soul.

After making sure not to hear another protest from Mr. Al, I went back to the bed. Standing next to the man with both hands holding a wheelchair.

“Master wants to eat in the dining room? I prepared dinner at the dinner table. In case, you want to eat with a new atmosphere do not eat in the room continue. Times bored.” I grinned as wide as possible displaying my white teeth. Take it easy, I've brushed my teeth before I got here.

“What are you cooking?” ask the man to relax. Yet it was able to create a butterfly that danced beautifully on my chest. It feels tickling and happy.

“More precisely, Bik Sri who cooks. I just helped him, and I learned. Maybe one day Mr. Al wants me to cook.” Again, I grinned wide. Stupid is also crazy for laughing alone. The man in front of me was stingy to let out a slight smile, Boro-boro would laugh with me.

“Bik Sri cook what?”

Yes, ‘kan, if I conclude that Mr. Al is indeed very chatty about food. One more thing, the man was very picky about the food that went into his stomach. It's very different from me who can eat anything, which is important to be filling. It is very striking the difference, between a rich man and a commoner like me.

“Already,” interrupted the man while shaking his one hand. “I dizzy dengerin you babble continuously,” he continued ketus.

Lha, huh? Who is it, who is dizzy. How, anyway?

Denying Mr. Al sin not, anyway?

“Bantuin!” later sergeant.

I hurriedly moved, helping the man to move into a wheelchair. Push the chair carefully. Afraid of getting it wrong again, dong!

“Lewat lift aja, do not pass the stairs,” he said after we came out of the room and I closed the door behind us.

Mr. Al is kidding or how. I couldn't get him down the stairs. In what way did we get down? Don't tell me she thinks I'm gonna hold her heavy body. Can roll with us from the stairs to the bottom floor. I shuddered in horror at the thought of it.

“Iya.” Only that word finally came out of my mouth. In fact, a lot of sentences are twisting in the head. I wanted to get everything out, but it didn't seem like the time. I could be kicked out of this house. I don't want to fail to get the money I need. The plan I had stayed a little more. The time I have is still a few days away.

I pushed the wheelchair into the corner of this hallway and into the iron door that was there. My finger pressed the button for this iron box to go downstairs immediately. Arriving at the destination floor, the door opened immediately. I immediately pushed the chair to get to the dining room. To be honest, my stomach is hungry.

Arriving at the dining room, several maids had lined up waiting for our arrival. Uh, not us. More precisely the arrival of Mr. Al. I stared in wonder at the number of chairs circling the dining table, not a single person was sitting there.

Where did the big lady go?

“Mama not staying here huh, Bik?”

Mr. Al's question further adds to my curiosity. I'm helping Mr. Al move into the dining chair. Then, with a quick movement one of the servants put away the wheelchair. Put it near the wall.

“I .. yes, Sir. It seems like so,” replied Bik Sri stammeredly. For a moment our views met. Then I cut off our eyes first, for the master had asked for my attention.

“Take me rice and side dishes,” he said slowly but implied assertiveness.

I immediately did what he asked. Take the rice to the plate and put it in front of the man. For the side dish, I put it in my small bowl first before giving it to the man.

Looks like the worms in my stomach can no longer be compromised. They just spoke without wanting to see the place. I closed my eyes while biting my lips.

“Company me eat. You have to take responsibility for bringing me here.”

For a moment I doubted what I had just heard. Mr. Al took me to eat with him. Waw! How'this? However, his sharp gaze hinted if the man said seriously and again did not want to be denied.

With hesitation, I sat down before Mr. Al. My nervousness grew so much that men threw away all the servants from this room, which made us eat alone.

I ate together with Mr. Al at the same dinner table. It feels like a dream.
