Auction Husband
Ayna Back

My heart was beating so fast when I entered that shiny black car. Me and Mrs Sekar of course ride in different cars. The vehicle that the woman was riding on had already walked in front of me. As for me, sitting alone with the driver who once drove me away from the mansion.

I sat alone in the passenger seat. And, that opportunity I used to send Amanda a message about what's going on right now. Because, this time I don't want to make him worry like that time.

One call came in from Amanda's number. I intentionally ignored the call. It's not good to have a phone call in here. I assume that the driver driving the four-wheeled vehicle is also a spy for the family, so I also have to be careful in acting when with him.

“Not a phone. I'm on the road.”

A message was sent as a warning to Amanda. Somehow the woman's reaction, which was obvious because we couldn't relate any further than just replying to messages.

Amanda: Amanda:

“But you're okay, right?”

“You are not expected to be with them.”

“Duh, I'm so worried about you right now. Later when you arrive, can I call you?”

“Let's go home, right?”

A message from Amanda came in over and over again. I got confused about which message to reply to first.

Ayna:

“I didn't do anything. My body is complete and I am healthy. You don't have to worry. Later let me call your number first yes, do not call me.”

One message I sent to Amanda that her gray tick instantly turned blue. The woman was quick to read my message and immediately seemed to be typing.

Amanda: Amanda:

“OK. If there's anything, call me right away. If you don't, I'll follow you.”

Ayna:

“Not knowing whether to go home today, or not. I'll call you later, deh.”

A follow-up message I haven't been able to send when a message from Amanda goes back to my phone.

Ayna:

“Oke.”

I replied to the last message and changed the tone setting mode to silent. I don't want the man who is focusing on driving to look at me suspiciously. The man was caught staring at me through the rearview mirror inside the car.

Next, I put the flat object in my hand into the bag I brought from the campus. Then, I turned to the window glass staring at the street from the side that looked very dense.

“Young Master Al how are you, Sir?” ask me in a quiet voice but I can be sure if my voice is heard all the way to the wheel.

“While not okay,” replied the man in a flat voice.

The car stopped at a red light intersection. Waiting for the red light to turn yellow and then green.

“What do you mean, Sir?”

“Later you will know. What reasons make Nyony Great to have to bother looking for your existence.”

The man's explanation made me even more clueless. But I refrained from asking further. Indeed, it looks like it would be better if you wait until this car stops in front of the big house. Until I finally met Mr. Al in person to know the true circumstances.

The vehicle slowly drove. The honking sound of each other was earthy welcoming the green light that was on. No more talking between us. Indeed, the man never started a conversation if not me who asked him first. Huh. So annoying.

The next trip was accompanied by silence, not even the sound of the engine of this vehicle was heard in my eardrum. It is very different if the car is luxurious. Her voice was smooth to the point of being inaudible, her interior looked beautiful and elegant. The seat I was sitting on also felt very soft. And if you remember, all this time only the car belonging to the family of Mr. Al was the one I ever rode. Because, previously I always drove two-wheeled vehicles or public transportation.

When the tall, sturdy gate in front of it opens wide automatically. Heart leaflets hidden in the chest are increasingly felt crazy. To the extent that, I could hear the sound of her beating. It feels so thrilling as well as scary. I was curious and frightened to see Mr. Al's reaction when I met myself later.

Will that man be ordinary? Will the man be angry? Or, would the man act cold?

Geez! Those questions are even more thrilling for my heartbeat. It feels like this heart wants to come out of its nest and then flounder in the paving block that I'm now stuck on.

I walked very slowly. Apparently, on the sofa of the living room the Great Madam had been waiting. I was able to breathe a sigh of relief because the expression of the woman was not as scary as when we met on campus earlier.

“Quick up to the second floor,” he said in a flat voice. His face looked resolute with a sharp look ready to kill me.

I nodded my head, then bowed respectfully before stepping behind the woman towards the top floor of the place where Mr. Al's room was located.

Arriving at the door of Mr. Al's room, my two lutu immediately felt limp. It feels like these two legs that I have are no longer able to support my weight. In fact, I am the type who has a very thin body and is not ideal. I was crouching in front of that tall door. Sighing repeatedly, inhaling as much free air as you can to fill the chest that feels tight due to narrowing.

Then, after crouching for a few minutes. Suddenly the door of the room opened wide. Of course I was shocked. I thought, Mr. Al came out of that room. Apparently, my guess is wrong. It was the Mbok who came out of there with both hands carrying the tray. Fortunately, the tray fell to the floor because we were both shocked.

“You're here?” asked the woman with trembling lips.

“Yes, Mbok, I'm here. Mr Al is?” I asked while standing and our bodies were facing each other with eyes that reciprocated.

“There ... Mr. Al is inside. Go straight in,” sahutnya then shifted to give a place so I can get in there.

“Still, Mbok,” I said slowly before stepping into the room that felt very stifling my chest.

I looked back over the shoulder as I heard the sound of the door being closed by the woman. Then again continue the steps to approach Mr. Al who seemed to be lying on the bed. It looks like the guy is sleeping.

As I stood beside the bed, I could hear Mr. Al's voice calling out to someone. Slowly, the man's eyelids opened. Then his eyes softened. A few seconds later our gazes returned to each other. While I was no longer able to stem the tears that wet my cheeks. The longing was too great for him and I couldn't resist the overflow.
