Auction Husband

Auction Husband
Go home

After everything was done, I rushed out of the house. The quiet atmosphere frightened me a little. Unlike the feeling when I came earlier, this time I felt very worried if my steps were followed by someone. Whether it's the house owner's man or someone from a different person. Could it, ‘kan?

I walked with a little running step in order to quickly get out of this area and out of this neighborhood. The initial intention of me wanting to see my house is down because I prefer to go back to Amanda's. It seems that meeting my best friend can make my heart and mind a little relieved. Because, it has been a long time since I and Diia have not met and I am sure if my best friend is worried about my situation.

I headed to Amanda's house by ordering a motorcycle taxi at the crossroads. Using a two-wheeled vehicle seems to be more efficient with time, than me having to jam if I ride a car. An hour later, the ojek that I saw stopped in front of Amanda's fence. Thankfully, there was a motorcycle base there.

After paying the fare, I immediately opened the fence carefully. Don't ask me how my heart is. It's definitely pounding ungodly. After a few days of my disappearance, I finally dared to appear in front of Amanda's house.

Knock that door tight. There's actually a bell here, but I'm reluctant to use it. Intentionally knocking on the door so that the owner of the house does not hear too much with the commotion here.

My heart was pounding more and more as the door of the house finally opened. The mouth of the woman who stood with her hands holding the door leaf was gaping wide, her face looked shocked once. Tears flowed down the woman's cheeks. He was still standing in place with his body sculpted as if glued to the earth.

Seeing Amanda's chaotic-looking state, I walked over to her. Just like her, my tears also flowed down my face. I let it go without intending to wipe let alone wipe away those tears. Let Amanda know that I too am very sad to have disappeared from her.

When our bodies are at a very close distance. And both of my hands extended forward as a gesture of a hug. The woman in front of me was flinched. He let go of his hand that was still clutching the door leaf, then slashed out in my arms. We hugged each other. Shedding tears with haru and happy feelings mixed into one.

“Ayna!” yell Amanda in a hoarse voice. “Ayna!” repeat it again and again until many times. As if I was making sure I really existed. I was in front of him and it was all real not just a dream.

“I'm sorry,” I cried in a hoarse voice replying to Amanda's repeated exclamations.

“Where are you from, anyway? Why would you say that? Where is the no longer active number?” Amanda poked me with a lot of questions as soon as our embrace unraveled. He looked at me with a sad face then his hands so quickly hit my arm. Repeatedly.

“Later to tell me. Stop your punch first.” I shifted from where I was standing to avoid the attack. “I'm hungry, want to eat,” I said. My hand wiped away the tears that had soaked my cheeks. Unmitigated, my hand is deftly lifting the front of the shirt I wear to wipe my face.

“Yes already, let's go in!” ask her later when her emotions have started to calm down.

I immediately went to the dining table. Slide the chair and sit facing the dishes that have been served at the table. Forget about washing your face first, because there's something more important I have to do now. Filling the already starving stomach.

“Where is your phone? Why is not active,” asked Amanda while taking rice for me to the plate. I took the plate from his hand and added vegetables and fried chicken to the rice.

Uh. I just remembered that my phone hasn't been returned. Still being held by Mrs Sekar. I clucked, even when I left earlier I did not say goodbye to the woman. How'this?

“What's up, anyway?”

It seems Amanda understands my anxiety. He moved the chair next to me and sat there. Amanda didn't eat. He propped up his chin with one hand, his head turned towards me. Staring at me deeply, as if waiting for something interesting that I will tell you for a few days to disappear.

Mr Al has eaten what yet?

Heh. Why is my mind so random, anyway?

Unclear.

My brain was busy thinking to and fro, until I was at a loss to map out what to think and what to forget. Unfortunately, everything about Mr. Al cannot be dismissed in my favor. My mind tried to throw him away, but my heart was so worried about the man's situation. The hunger I had felt, was no longer felt. My hands were busy stirring up the food on the plate with thoughts wandering out of nowhere. Unclear.

“Heh.”

The clap on my shoulder made me flinch in shock.

“What's up, anyway? He said hungry, instead of daydreaming continuously from earlier not eating,” protested Amanda with eyes glaring at me.

“Eh, the. Notwithstanding. I'm just thinking of you, hape. Not been taken just yet when I want to go home,” my answer is not entirely lying.

“What happened to you there? Really the auction problem?” Amanda asked with a attentive look.

“Hm.” I muttered softly while nodding confirming. “Iya. Really. Again find that wife to take care of her paralyzed child. But we have not been married, I was told to go with his son and given money to pay the ransom of my house debt,” I explained.

“Terus. How's his parents? Do you know what if you have left that house?” ask Amanda again, which I'm replying to with a weak belt this time.

“Lha, continues?” sue Amanda.

I'm bowing in. Just thinking about how Mr. Al is doing right now makes me really worried.

“Do I have to go back to his house only now?” ask random.

“Ha, what? Crazy you huh?” Amanda looked surprised and protested my question. Yeah actually, it's a weird question and a very silly one.

“Udah. You're just here. Just leave your phone, you can buy it again. The important thing is that you are safe and your parents' house can be redeemed. I'm very worried about your situation these few days, Ayna.” Amanda said emotionally.

“Iya also yes.” Damnit. My mouth said so, but my heart rejected it. I'm very worried about Mr. Al.

“now is the time for you to focus on the thesis. Graduate quickly, finish your studies. And quickly get a good and well-established job.”

I nodded, agreed to Amanda's words and guaranteed the prayer. Yep. Better that's what I think and plan, ‘kan?
