Why marry me, Gus?

Why marry me, Gus?
Chapter 6

Me, Wirda, and the two students who helped me take care of the bike are still on the side of the road looking for help. There are no tire repairmen. There are no patch tools either.

"Well, what about malem?" said a santri to his friend.

I vaguely heard their conversation. Without this tool, how would I take care of my flat tires? I can, I'm on the side of the road.

"Sir, there is no tire patch. I'll call Mas Huda, okay?" said a santri later.

Really, really bad if you have to see Huda again! Shame also I, already saying goodbye from earlier, but it was still stuck near the boarding school.

"No need, my. Can you please find a public vehicle, right? The important thing is that I can go home first" I said.

"It's hard here, Ma'am. The highway's still a long way off" said the santri.

"Rather, Rin. Mending we ask for help Mas Huda. We don't have much of a choice" Wirda told me.

Finally one of the students went to find Huda to ask for help. I've tried to prevent it, but I don't have any other solution to take care of my flat tires.

"Here Ma'am! Sit here first" said a santri who was still accompanying me waiting for help.

Shortly after, the santri who went to call Huda, finally returned with the man. Not only did they bring Huda, they also brought patchwork equipment to take care of my bike.

"Assalamualaikum, Arina! You all right?" tanya Huda greeted me and also Wirda.

I just nodded without giving much of an answer. "I take care of the bike first, okay?" sahut Huda again.

The three men started fiddling with my bike and were busy patching the tires. While waiting for my motorbike to be repaired, I occasionally rubbed my hands together to warm my already cold skin.

The wind was getting stronger and making my body shiver. I need to be able to warm my body before it freezes.

Shortly after, I suddenly saw Huda standing up and stopped his activities for a moment. The man walked towards his vehicle, and took out something he had stored on his motorbike. Is my bike fixed?

I thought my bike was done fiddling, but it turned out that Huda just took the jacket, then gave it to me. Has he seen me cold since? Did Huda see me rubbing my hands to warm up?

"The air's getting colder. You can catch a cold later," said Huda. "Wear the jacket now!" huda's orders to me.

Because it was no longer strong to withstand the cold, I finally received a jacket from him by force. It turned out that this was the jacket that Huda had offered me earlier. I refused this jacket, but now I'm warmed by this jacket.

"Thank you!" I said softly with a face of shame. Who wouldn't be ashamed? Just now with confidence in himself, I told Huda that I would not be cold. Just now with confidence in himself, I told Huda that I could stand the cold. But I was almost frozen in front of Huda without this jacket.

"It's done!" huda said to me as soon as the man managed to fix my vehicle, until I could finally put it back on.

Fortunately it was done," I murmured with relief.

I immediately got ready to continue my journey home. "Come, Wir!" take me to Wirda to get ready.

"I'm going home, okay?" haggard Huda before letting me go. "Fear there'll be nothing else on the road. Around here to the highway there are no tire patchers. If your bike is okay again, you might have trouble finding help" he continued.

I also remember the road I went on when I left earlier. Along the way, I did not see many houses. The atmosphere of the street I was passing through was also very quiet. Instead of home, I saw more rice fields, fields, and teak forests. If anything else happens to my vehicle, maybe I won't be able to go home.

"As much as you!" my sahut to Huda. There was no way I would refuse Huda's offer to escort me home. Although somewhat prestige, I was forced to accept his offer in anticipation if I was hit by bad luck again.

"You leaving now?"

I nodded and hurried to start the engine. I drove my bike first, then Huda and one of the students followed me from behind. It felt safer, and not too lonely with Huda driving behind me.

I was just a mangosteen without wanting to give a response. Want as good as the man, I will still cancel this proposal.

Eventually, Wirda and I reached the city. When I get here, I can calm down. I no longer need to be escorted by Huda.

"Why stop, Rin?" wirda asked me who suddenly stopped the vehicle.

Huda who was still following me also stopped and approached me. "Why, Rin? Any issues?" ask Huda.

"We're in town. I can go now" I told Huda.

"But you are not home yet" Huda said.

"But this is up to the city. I can go home by myself. My house is not far away either" I told Huda.

Again, this is a debate. From now on act as he wants, without wanting to hear my opinion.

"I'm going home, huh?" persuade Huda with a soft voice.

"No need, Mom! I can go home by myself! Go back to the cottage!" resolutely refused.

"But it's a gig, Rin. I'm going to drive you home, okay?" huda Tukas.

This guy's really bad, anyway! What language do I have to speak so he can understand?

Whatever I say to Huda, it's always on the sidelines. He can only increase the will and encourage debate from now on.

"As much as that is!" sahutku later.

I'm sorry I cheated on the rich Huda. Surrender I took care of him.

"Don't pout on dong, Rin!" wirda told me.

"Udah, huh! Whatever he wants to do! I'm tired of talking to her rich guy" I said.

I immediately drove Wirda home. Arriving at Wirda's house, I also planned to play first there so that Huda came home and did not continue to carry me until home.

"Thank you, Rin!" wirda said as soon as he got off the bike.

"I should have said thank you for being won. Can I stop by first, right?" I asked Wirda to deliberately drive Huda out gently from my presence.

But unfortunately, Wirda did not support my plan. "You go straight home, Rin. Pity Mas Huda if you still have to wait for you here," said Wirda.

"But it ...."

"Pity of Mas Huda, Rin. You just go home now so that Mas Huda can stop going home too," continued Wirda.

By force, I left Wirda's house and was still escorted by Huda. I also drove my bike so that Huda could immediately leave from before me.

"Finally arrived! I can't bear to see Mas Huda's friendly face! Please get out of here!" my grumbling in my heart.
