Arin looked at Huda from across, without saying anything. Shortly after, Huda opened his eyes and realized the presence of his future wife.
"Within?" greet Huda to Arin with a friendly smile, just like always.
"Assalamualaikum, Mas Huda!" said Arin briefly.
Huda immediately fixed his sitting position and tried to welcome his guest well. "Here, Rin! Sorry, I'm Riski again," said Huda.
"It's okay, Mom. Sorry, I came here without telling you first."
Arin sat across from Huda without a word. The girl seems confused how to start interrogating Huda about the photos he had seen on the bridge.
"Is there anything important you want to talk about?" ask Huda.
"This is a little souvenir for Nyai," said Arin thrust the parcel he brought.
"Thank you very much, Arin!"
Arin was silent. The girl still did not discuss about the photo she wanted to ask.
"You're just here for this? Or do you have other interests?" ask Huda.
Arin pulled out his phone and showed a picture of Huda on the riverbank that he deliberately kept. "I'm just here to ask about this" Arin exclaimed. "Take a good look at this photo!"
Huda stared at Arin's phone screen intently. "What do you want?"
"Whose picture is this?" ask Arin. "It's Mas Huda, right? Who is this girl who does not look in the face? Who's this girl you're hugging?"
Huda was silent for a moment. The man must be able to give a wise answer, before Arin puts a no-no suspicion on him.
"Where did you get this picture?"
"Just answer! It's really Mas, right?" sulcan Arin.
Huda nodded. The man did not dodge.
"Whose girl is this?" ask Arin.
"It just so happened that I was nolongin people" said Huda.
"Who's the guy? Why wear all hugs? Why are the clothes wet?" Arin continued to interrogate Huda all the way to the root. However, Arin still tried to speak in a soft voice so that he did not disturb Riski who was asleep in Huda's lap.
"I nolongin people who almost drowned in the river" said Huda. Huda did not mention Wirda at all.
Arin had begun to suspect, but unfortunately Huda did not also mention the name he wanted to hear.
"Who's the guy? Who is this woman?"
"She's the girl I helped. You saw the picture yourself, right? I'm just helping him get out of the water" Huda explained.
Arin's attention begins to divert to Riski. Riski's slightly pale face made Arin curious. "Riski why, Mas?"
Huda did not have time to answer, Riski had already woken up and whined at Huda. "Eh, Riski's up?"
Huda immediately got up and carried Riski to calm the boy down. Nyai Rosyidah came out as soon as he heard the words of his grandson.
"Riski why else? Udah dong nangisnya," Nyai Rosyidah cetus on the grandson who carried Huda around the terrace.
Nyai Rosyidah stared at the terrace bench and was surprised not to play when he saw Arin. "Wheel? since when are you here?" nyai Rosyidah asked really shocked to see the arrival of Arin.
"Assalamualaikum, New!" Arin immediately got up from his stool and greeted Nyai Rosyidah while peeping the back of his hand.
"Mom didn't really know you were here. I'll grab a drink first, okay?"
"No need to bother, Nyai. Arin had a drink earlier" said Arin.
Mrs Rosyidah accompanied her future son-in-law to talk on the porch, while Huda was still busy calming down Riski who was whining. "When did you get there? I'm sorry, I didn't know there were guests" Nyai Rosyidah said.
"Arin hasn't been here long. Sorry, Arin came here not to say," cried Arin. "Bring something up, Nyai!"
Nyai Rosyidah stared at the many parcels the girl had brought. "You're wearing all the trouble! Thank you very much, huh?"
Nyai Rosyidah and Arin also began to discuss many things, one of which was about Riski. "Riski why, Nyai? It hurts again, doesn't it?" ask Arin.
"Riski had been stuck in a fish pond" said Nyai Rosyidah. "Fortunately he's okay. But Riski had the same trauma as the water. It has been so fussy since then," he continued.
"What's Trauma, Nyai?"
"Riski was traumatized by the water because of his parents. Riski's trauma has been around since his parents died two years ago" explains Nyai Rosyidah. "From that time Riski was crying and kept falling into the pool. Only Huda can calm Riski down. Huda left a lot of work today for Riski's nemenin."
Arin mangosteen listened to the explanation of Nyai Rosyidah. The girl looked at this very Huda still holding Riski while sholawting until the little boy fell asleep again.
Huda walked to and fro on the terrace area and occasionally exchanged greetings with nods and smiles. Huda looks very painstaking to take care of Riski and is able to calm the boy well. Once Riski was back asleep, Huda returned to the terrace and sat in his original place, still holding Riski.
Huda just nodded while rubbing Riski's hair. Unfortunately, the slightest movement from Huda made the little boy sleep disturbed. Rizki began to wake up while rubbing her eyes.
"Kok getting up again?" ask Huda. Fortunately this time Riski was no longer crying and whining like before.
Arin also took the initiative to approach Riski and invite the little boy to talk. "Hello, Risky! You finally wake up!" exclaim Arin.
Riski looked at Arin with her round eyes. The boy greeted Arin with an embarrassed smile.
"Riski still remembers Brother, doesn't he?" arin asked the boy who was still hugging Huda.
"Still," said Riski in an adorable voice.
"Who tried?" ask Arin.
"Who?" Huda also asked Riski.
The boy was silent. It seems Riski was confused to answer Huda's question.
"The general candidate is Riski," Huda later said.
Arin turned towards Huda with a frown. There is nothing wrong with Huda. But Arin herself is not ready and also does not plan to want to be the mother of Riski. However, the girl did not take a headache. Arin will say whatever Huda says to the little boy in front of him right now.
"Riski's Official? Why don't you wear a hijab?" ask the boy innocently.
Arin. The girl did not expect to get this kind of question. Of course Arin must give a good answer to say to the children. The girl was busy looking for reasons to answer Riski's questions wisely.
"Fly was on the right road carrying a motorbike" replied Arin later.
"Bring a motorcycle with a helmet, how can it fly?" ask Riski again.
Arin gulped a rough saliva. For the first time he was interrogated like this by a young child, and Riski's simple questions made him nervous.
"Oh, that. I stopped buying snacks for Riski. Uh, her hijab is blurred by the wind. And then the big brother, uh, even Riski snacks also run away," Arin explained as she showed a friendly face full of smiles to Rizki.
"Yeah!" sahut Riski looked disappointed.
Fortunately Riski no longer chased Arin with many questions. The innocent boy simply believed in Arin's words.
"Jajan, yuk!" ask Arin not to disappoint Riski too much. "There, yuk! Brother see there's a stall selling a lot of snacks."
Riski nodded and accepted Arin's invitation easily. Arin smiled happily, then immediately took Riski to leave.
Huda smiled looking at Arin who was already close to the closed Riski. Just two steps away from the terrace, Arin suddenly turned and raised his hand to Huda.
"Seek duwit!" pinta Arin suddenly on Huda.
Huda was silent. The man looked at Arin's palm with a frown.
"I'm out of work, I'm not working. It was bought by-by the same gasoline just ask for mother duwit," said Arin.
Huda took out his wallet, and gave Arin a bill of five thousand. Arin pouted staring at that one sheet of money that was thrust at him.
"were only five grand?" arin Protest.
"Say for a snack, that's enough, '" said Huda.
"Five thousand is for Riski doang only" said Arin.
"You want some snacks, too?"
Arin still raises his hand with his face still bent. Of course the girl also wants to be rationed.
"Now!" Huda kindly gave extra money.
"Twook two thousand? Make Riski's snacks less."
"That's seven thousand for the two. Enough, dong?"
Arin pouted and still did not want to move. The girl was acting spoiled towards Huda just because of the pocket money.
"Now!" Huda gave another five thousand bills.
Arin smiled with satisfaction. "That dong, seven thousand got what?" grumbled Arin while passing.
"Rissy! Go jajan!"
Nyai Rosyidah also smiled amusedly at the interaction between Huda and Arin.
