Why marry me, Gus?

Why marry me, Gus?
chapter 35

Huda smiled to himself as he looked at his wife who showed jealousy. The man really did not expect, the woman who had rejected her proposal outright, now turned into a jealous and possessive wife.

"Why are those rich smiles? I'm not kidding anymore, yeah! I can go, but I can't wait around Novi!" arin said reaffirming the conditions he proposed to the husband before going to the village of Moyudan.

"It turns out you are jealous, yes" seduced Huda while smiling amusedly in front of his wife.

Arin begins to misbehave as soon as getting accused of jealousy by her husband. "C-happy what? I just don't like to see Novi who is too trying to make Deketin Mas. That man has a wife. What's wrong if I ngingetin Mas for not sticking with other girls? I just don't want my husband to be involved in slander" Arin exclaimed.

Whatever the reason, Huda remains happy to see his wife's jealousy. That's the sign, Arin has started to open her heart to Huda and grow the seeds of love for him.

"It's me, man! You're jealous, right?" chirp Huda again.

"What the hell, Mas? I'm not jealous!" elak Arin's.

Huda grew increasingly anxious to see the wife who grumbled. "Yes, shit! Accept the terms from you. Mas won't be whittling with Novi while there," exclaimed Huda.

"Thank you so much, Arin!" huda said later.

"Thank you for what?" ask Arin confused.

Huda just smiled without answering Arin. Huda's words of gratitude are a thank you to Arin, who opened her heart to him and learned to love him.

"Just thank you for everything!" huda said gratefully.

After being rejected by Arin many times and going through a long struggle to marry Arin, Huda finally managed to get love from his beloved wife. Huda gave kiss to his wife before he left for Moyudan village.

Arin's cheeks instantly turned red as soon as she got an impromptu kiss from her husband. The two enjoyed a good time together in the room before they parted ways.

"Nobody's missing anymore?" arin asked before coming out of the room with her husband.

"No," said Huda, throwing a faint smile at Arin.

The couple also came out of the room without carrying a charger or other objects. Indeed, from the beginning there was no Huda stuff left in the room. The man was just making excuses so he could talk to his wife in the room.

"But you're leaving, Arin? Assalamualaikum!" pamit Huda's.

"Waalaikumsalam, Ma! Be careful!"

Arin and Riski waved at Huda who was departing along with his friends. It was hard to let go of the husband, but Arin still tried not to be prejudiced against Huda and pray for the safety of her husband.

"Hurry home, huh, Mom? I'm waiting for you at home!" gumam Arin.

In the evening, the village of Tubansari was flooded with heavy rain. Arin stood at the door, staring at the rain that was drenching her in-laws' yard.

The woman suddenly felt agitated. Arin begins to worry about her husband who is currently in the village of Moyudan.

"It's raining there, isn't it? Where there is also no electricity," muttered Arin worried about the husband who is currently living in an area that does not have lighting.

All access in the village of Moyudan was cut off by the landslide. However, fortunately Huda still had time to tell Arin, and said that he was fine while in the village of Moyudan. Arin's husband is also busy helping people affected by landslides in the remote village.

"Hopefully Mas Huda is fine there," muttered Arin did not want to think ill of her husband who was currently away from her.

The next day, the rain was still pouring with it. For two days straight, it was raining nonstop.

"Today it rained a lot huh, Umi?" arin told Nyai Rosyidah.

"In Moyudan village there's no heavy rain, huh?" mummy Arin.

Nyai Rosyidah clearly saw the anxious expression of her daughter-in-law. "Are you worried about Huda? Try to call him," Nyai Rosyidah said.

Arin rushes to get her phone and tries to find out about her husband. But unfortunately, Huda did not also reply to messages from Arin.

"It hasn't been answered yet, Umi. Earlier this morning Arin was able to chat Mas Huda, but it has not been answered until now, too" said Arin with a grim face.

"Wait a minute, Rin. Maybe Huda is busy. Later if you are free, your message must be answered," exclaimed Nyai Rosyidah comforting the son-in-law.

Arin nodded and brushed off all the bad thoughts that filled his head. The woman kept waiting for a reply from her husband.

But until nightfall, Arin never get a reply. The woman also tried to call Huda, but unfortunately was not connected.

"Where's Mas Huda going, anyway? How can I not be contacted?" arin's grumbling started to rouse and panic.

Arin repeatedly tries to contact Huda, but unfortunately cannot. Arin begins to think nothing of her husband and fears for Huda's safety.

"Arin, what's wrong with you?" reprimand Nyai Rosyidah at the son-in-law who looks panicked.

Arin immediately put down his phone as soon as he was approached by the mother-in-law. "immies? Arin is okay."

"Let's have dinner! Abi and Riski are waiting at the dinner table" asked Nyai Rosyidah.

Arin nodded and devoured dinner with her in-laws. But it looks like Arin is not feeling well. The woman could not swallow good food, while she did not know what food her husband was eating at this time.

After dinner, Arin accompanied Riski drawing in the living room, accompanied by Ustadz Wahab and Nyai Rosyidah.

"Arin, why are you daydreaming all the time?" tegur Ustadz Wahab's.

Arin lowered his head. The woman could not hide her sadness in front of Ustadz Wahab.

"Why are you, Rin? Not feeling well anymore?" sahut Nyai Rosyidah's.

Arin shook his head slowly. "Not that, Umi. Arin again thought of Mas Huda," replied Arin. "Mas Huda could not be reached. From yesterday it rained. Arin is afraid of anything happening with Mas Huda," said Arin.

Ustadz Wahab smiled. He understood very well Arin's anxiety at this time. "You don't have to worry, Rin. Abi sure, Huda must be fine."

"Yes, Rin. Huda is a regular volunteer. Huda can take care of himself" said Nyai Rosyidah.

Not only Ustadz Wahab and Nyai Rosyidah tried to comfort Arin, but Riski also chimed in. "Abi must be fine. Abi has always been rich in gini," added Riski.

The little boy who was busy drawing it still had time to calm the restless mother. "Riski Pinter really, do entertain Umi?" cetus Arin's.

Although his family had tried to convince Arin not to worry, but still the anxiety that perched in him did not want to decrease. Arin turned his gaze to the television and accidentally saw a news broadcast that brought shocking news.

"The Moyudan village was again hit by landslides, the casualties increased ...." The voice of the news announcer made Arin widen his eyes.

"How many residents and volunteers were among the victims of the subsequent landslides."

The deg! Arin's heart almost stopped beating. The woman did not expect to get bad news when her husband could not be contacted.

"Mas Huda ...."
