WHEN MY FACE CHANGED

WHEN MY FACE CHANGED
Goodbye

Jessica was standing in front of the airport with a medium-sized suitcase in her left hand, a few minutes ago the taxi that drove her to that place had left her there. Jessica began to step into the airport to check in first, she deliberately went to the airport to enjoy her time. After checking in, Jessica looked out with her eyes. Soon he will no longer taste food in the city, no more dramas with Mrs Sandra, Erick and Vishnu, no more meeting with Sherina secretly, soon he will truly leave the country. Jessica took a deep breath and threw it away slowly, then walked towards the boarding area looking for a seat while waiting for her departure in a moment.

He again saw his phone that has been quiet lately, there is usually Mrs Sandra who at any time asked for his whereabouts, Vishnu who always sends an unimportant message but can make her smile herself. Jessica smiled faintly, she put her phone back in her pocket and tightened the black leather zipper jacket on her tiny body.

An hour later, Jessica heard the number of the plane to her destination had been called to get on the plane. Jessica immediately queued with the other passengers, she looked for her seat which happened to be right near the window. Jessica immediately put on her seatbelt and turned off her phone even though the plane she was riding was actually sophisticated and did not require to turn off the phone but she was still in her habit if traveling by air. The plane has announced that the plane will land, all passengers sit neatly in their respective places. Jessica stared at the view from the window, looking at the lights that glowed that night, again her lips lifted into a knot.

Goodby. His mind rested his back in his seat, and closed his eyes, enjoying the long journey.

Jessica's plane landed perfectly at John F's international airport. Kennedy. Jessica deliberately looking for a suitable flight schedule to get there in the morning. Fortunately, he had traveled abroad during his college years to attend a student exchange program and his knowledge of foreign languages was quite good, so it was not too difficult for him to talk to new people.

A week later

Jessica came out of the hotel room in neat clothes, she did not wear glasses anymore because she felt that no one would recognize her in the country. Jessica sent a message to her sister to meet her somewhere.

“Kak ?” A man's voice roused him from the daydream.

“Jeffry ?” Jessica replied as she rose from her seat, hugging her little brother with all her longing.

“Why not tell me first ? I'll be able to pick you up to the airport.” Jeffry replied to his brother's embrace.

“It's okay, you must be tired of taking care of this it.”

Jessica smiled proudly to see Jeffry who would soon leave his status as a student. Even though he actually did not have the heart to see his younger brother working hard to continue his own life, it felt like he always wanted to take care of the man, always heard the news that his monthly money was up, he said, always a reliable place. But time continues to run, inevitably Jeffry will continue to grow into a figure of a man who will be called father by his nephew later. Jessica still doesn't expect Jeffry's change, though, the snot boy who used to whine about this without thinking about anything has now grown taller than him perhaps if they walk with people will think Jeffry is older than him.

“Truly, I was very busy taking care of many things for graduation requirements.” Jeffry

“How are you doing ? your body is still the same as it used to be, there is no change” said Jeffry sipping his coffee cup.

“Hmm... Nothing has changed.” Jessica smiled faintly.

“But maybe your wallet is always getting fatter huh, hahaha” Goda Jeffry chuckled.

“Basic unclear.”

“Sister, I'm hungry. Can I order food ? but I forgot to bring my wallet.” Jeffry scratched his non-itchy head while smiling shyly at Jessica.

“Emmm, just order I'll pay for it.” Hearing the brother's reply, Jeffry immediately went to order food. Jessica looked at the man's back with her own eyes, she recalled the old times. Where he did not have a penny but the man whined to buy a toy that they saw on the street even though from the morning they had not eaten so that made Jessica confused how to. But now he could buy what they wanted though not as much as anyone else but that was enough for Jessica. Seeing the smile of the sister who thanked him, Jeffry's behavior was always funny in Jessica's eyes. Maybe until anytime he will always see Jeffry as a spoiled snot kid.

Jessica looks very happy every time she hears the booing coming out of Jeffry's mouth, not expecting a sibungsu can be funny in front of him. Jessica wants to live like this where no one she knows and recognizes, where there is nothing she should avoid and fear. Simply living by looking at the smile on his sister's face was a fortune he believed in all his life.

Jessica and Jeffry separated when it was getting dark, actually not satisfied to chat with the man but there is still a tomorrow that might allow him to tell a story. Jeffry lived in an apartment with his friend so Jessica felt bad to stay at the place, after all he also had a temporary place to stay at the hotel.

Not feeling the day of Jeffry's graduation is getting closer, Jessica is busy looking for clothes that are suitable for her sister in the implementation of her graduation day. In this situation looks like Jessica is the busiest like mothers who go to and fro looking for something good to use her child. As for her recent issues that are important the need for the younger brother is safe, he thought.

“Kakak take what ?” Jeffry asked, glancing at the paper bag in Jessica's hand.

“For you” Jessica thrust her face, Jeffry frowned receiving the paper bag.

“Oh, so yes.” Jeffry immediately rearranged the shirt he took out and placed the paper bag under the chair.

“You don't like it?” Jessica asked to see the reaction of her sister did not match her expectations.

“Hah ? Likes what ?”

“Ah, it's okay. Don't forget tomorrow wear it yes, I've bought it a set.” Smile again expands on the cheek of the brother.

“Iya. Here's his invitation letter” Jeffry handed me an envelope containing an invitation letter at his graduation ceremony.

“Tomorrow to leave at what time?” Ask Jessica

“Hmmm, whatever is important don't be late. Oh right, you don't intend to give me a gift at my graduation ceremony?” Ask Jeffry expectantly.

“Of course, want what gift ?” Jessica was again made happy because she felt expected.

“Serious brother ?” Jeffry stared fixedly at Jessica's eyes with sparkling eyes, Jessica nodded confirming.

“Ah, but sister have money?”

“If you don't have money where you might agree, I would like to give you a gift anyway.”

“Ahhh, you are indeed the best sister in the world.” Praise Jeffry sumringah.

“Then I asked for bugatti brother, a few weeks ago my friends bought the latest output but later brother bought the one under it for me. It's okay, I'm afraid brother's money runs out.” Jeffry smiled proudly to have a brother who always obeyed his wishes.

DEG

Jessica felt her heart stop beating, the world seemed to stop spinning when she heard the request of the sister who thought it was very extraordinary. Jessica looked at Jeffry in disbelief, maybe the man thought asking him for it when he also knew their lives could be mediocre.

“Kak ?” paggil Jeffry for not hearing the woman's answer.

“Seconds should go now, tomorrow don't be late. I suddenly thought there was something I should take care of, see you tomorrow.” Jessica said leaving Jeffry who was still sitting there, deliberately lying because he did not want to damage the mood of the sister especially tomorrow he did graduation.

Not that he did not want to grant the request of his sister just that he did not know what to grant it in what way. He does not have a lot of money, even though he worked for a lifetime it is impossible to buy a bugatti that costs hundreds of billions of dollars. Jessica holds her chest tight, it hurts so much if she can't grant what other people ask for on her special days.
