A week later

Vishnu did not believe today he got information from HRD that one of his staff sent him a resignation letter after one week of no news. Vishnu immediately checked his cellphone when there was a message from the woman for him.

“Good afternoon Mr. Vishnu, this is Jessica's stuff that is still left on her desk put where ya ?” Tanya Bora brought some of Jessica's stuff.

Vishnu clenched his palms together remembering Javier's words. He could not avoid that what Javier said was true just that his heart was still difficult to describe what exactly the purpose was.

“Isn't that time there was Erick's sister in the office ?” Vishnu muttered last week he saw Sherina talking to the receptionist.

Jessica packed her things into a suitcase after locking the door and closing the window. He put in items that are important to be taken abroad to attend his sister's graduation day later. After storing his belongings Jessica sat on the bedside, as usual daydreaming about things that never finished.

“Three more weeks he will celebrate his graduation day, hopefully from this he can live alone.” He muttered considering his younger brother who had been dependent on him.

Two days later

Jessica sat in a cafe waiting for someone who had promised her to come. Jessica was pensive while twirling her coffee straws, no matter what she thought no one knew, this woman was indeed often daydreaming indistinctly like this or maybe because of the burden of her life that she herself was craving. I don't know, he also never exchanged thoughts with others to reduce the burden he carried.

“Hey, sorry I just finished.” The clap of a hand on her shoulder resuscitated Jessica and turned to the voice.

“It's okay” Jessica smiled and told him to sit down.

“Alright, then what is it to invite me here ?”

“Nothing, I just want it.” Jessica replied quickly.

If I had the right, I'd be yelling at you right now Jessi. You don't know how worried I am waiting for you. 

“How in the office ?” Jessica asked without looking at the man.

“As usual, everything works hard.”

“Yes, I know. It's my folly to ask about it, everything will definitely be fine.” Jessica breathed heavily.

No Jessi, not at all. Everything's not okay, if you know how unfocused I am when doing my job to go back and forth looking at the phone just to wait for a notification from you.

“I want to thank you for all your kindness to me, thank you for caring about me as long as you are still your subordinate.” Jessica smiled forcibly, but her face remained towards her coffee cup.

“Ya I should have been like that.” Vishnu chuckled softly, the laughter was just an escape so that he could calm himself down.

“Maaf” Vishnu looked at Jessica as the woman let out those words.

“Sorry ? you have nothing wrong Jessi, why apologize to me ?” Vishnu said with a fake smile.

“No, I'm wrong with you a lot. It's just that I'm too smart to cover it up, so you're not aware.” Smile dibibir Jessica makes Vishnu want to devour her sangkin upset because the woman in front of him is very smart to hide anything from everyone but not Vishnu name if you do not understand, if you do not understand, in fact, he was once called the smartest man on his campus first.
