Jessica came out of Erick's room with a face adorned with a fake smile, but people would assume that smile was a sign of the good news she received from the President. Though in fact he was so sick of hearing Erick's rants that he thought were not too useful, Yes like that Jessica lived her life. Full of lies.
“Surely he got a commission from the President, just look at his face.” whispered one of the finance staff.
Jessica breathed heavily upon hearing the whisper.wanted to slam the table of the woman who had just talked about it, but Jessica chose to be quiet so that nothing bad happened.
“Yes, it's worth the chief financial officer getting caught. Turns out he's the mastermind.” The other whisper responded to the words of his friend.
“Have been quiet, you also want to like bu Dewita ?” yola said, one of the staff members who was close to Jessica.
“Jessi, what's up ? why did the president call you ?” Yola asked forward her head waiting for the woman's reply.
“Nothing, just a little problem.” Jessica replied calmly.
After returning home from work, Jessica saw Sherina already sitting in front of her boarding door. The girl drowned her face in both palms, Jessica went up to her with a confused face.
“Sherina ?” Hearing her name called, Sherina immediately raised her head, the look of the girl's face was pale and her eyes were swollen
“What's up ? why are you crying?” Jessica asked holding Sherina's shoulder. The one asked just shook his head slowly, as if understanding what happened Jessica immediately opened the boarding door and invited Sherina inside. Jessica closed the window curtain and turned on the light and then she took warm water not far from the bed and gave it to Sherina.
“Thanks” said Sherina after sipping a little warm water.
“Since when are you here ?” Jessica asked, sitting next to Sherina.
“Since noon” reply Sherina lethargic.
Then after coming home from the office, he came straight here ? Jessica's mind remembered the incident she had seen in the office earlier.
“What's up ? why are you crying?” jessica asked gently, but there was no answer from the girl.
“You broke up with your girlfriend ?” Jessica asked, pretending not to know.
Sherina took a slow look, then heard a heavy breath from the girl, like carrying a lot of weight on her boat.
“Can I not be expected in the slightest ?” Suddenly Sherina turned to Jessica with a sad look.
“Hah ? you mean how ?”
“Kakak changed” he said again.
“Kak Erick's. He's changed, ever since I've compiled the thesis his attitude is so weird. She turns 80 percent, rarely comes home and always ignores me.” Sherina said sadly.
“I don't know where my fault lies, so his attitude is so. Even until now she doesn't care about my graduation. It's not usually him like that.”
“I don't know what your problem is, but maybe your brother is tired so ignore you and very sensitive.” Jessica tried to understand the girl's feelings.
“Ah, I don't know. I'm also confused” said Sherina resigned.
“I can stay tonight ?” asked Sherina with a pleading gaze.
God fucking. Not that I won't let her stay, but how do I get out tonight ? there's no way I said I wanted to go to a club. Jessica was confused as to what to answer.
“Please let me stay here. Tonight alone” Sherina welcomes.
“Alright, but only tonight and don't forget permission to your sister.” Jessica said.
“Thank you” Sherina immediately laid her body on top of Jessica's bed.
Ah, goddamn. How do I get permission from Mrs Sandra ? I took a leave of absence this month.
Inevitably Jessica had to persuade Mrs Sandra to allow her not to come tonight, given the insecure conditions at the boarding.
After cleaning herself up, Jessica ordered food for dinner and noticed Sherina sleeping on her bed. He had just left the girl suddenly asleep. Jessica took a breath and exhaled her slowly, pulling a blanket over Sherina's tiny body.
Can-can his fucking Erick ignore a kid this good ? Hopefully they get back together soon. Jessica felt sorry to see Sherina.
