Chapter 24: Soul Manipulation

Upon hearing that the two of them were about to be given an emergency mission, they were shocked. Because, they did not know in detail, what was meant by the actual emergency mission.

"L-anu.... What does that mean for emergency missions?" Bryan asked Delon about it.

"It was a mission that was arguably quite difficult, which was given directly impromptu and without any prior notice."

"But, why are the two of us given this emergency mission, teacher Delon?" Yukina asked teacher Delon.

"Then, what kind of mission will we handle?" Bryan asked again.

After Bryan asked about what kind of mission they would go on, Delon's teacher answered him.

"The mission of the two of you is, the rescue of 2 students from class C, namely Zora and Rodeo, and 1 student from class B, Regy."

Upon hearing that, Bryan and Yukina were instantly shocked.

"What's? What happened to them?" Bryan asked teacher Delon what had happened to the people, still shocked.

"They have been given a mission. However, they have not returned for 1 week! We suspect that they have failed in their mission and are being held back by the enemy they are fighting. However, we also suspect the worst possibility is... They're dead!"

Instantly, they all grew more and more shocked by what Delon's teacher had said.

"But, supposedly saving them wasn't that hard for Bryan and Yukina right? They were both stronger than those 2 C-class children," Ria said that Bryan and Yukina didn't seem to have much trouble completing this emergency mission.

"Yes, we have witnessed for ourselves with both of our eyeballs in person that, they are both absolutely amazing! Bryan and Yukina are so strong!" Fang also believes that Bryan and Yukina can easily complete an emergency mission.

Master Delon explained about the circumstances that had occurred in the emergency mission. Even the superior child of class B was unable to handle it.

Bryan also wants to go immediately to save people who have not returned in the mission that has been given.

"You go to Heat Island! That's where they're on their mission! However, I can't teleport to bring you guys straight to that place. You have to run to get to Heat Island!"

Master Delon told them to go to Heat Island by running. Because, teacher Delon was unable to teleport to directly bring Bryan and Yukina to the place.

"Yukina, let's go! We can't waste a lot of time here!" Bryan invites Yukina to go to Heat Island to rescue Zora, Rodeo, and Regy.

"Yes, we must leave immediately before it's too late to save them all!"

Bryan and Yukina left the academy and headed straight for Heat Island.

"I hope they're both okay, and can save those who don't come back!" Ria prays for Bryan and Yukina's safety.

"I also hope they're both good - both are good!" Fang was worried.

There Fang and Ria are very worried and anxious about Bryan and Yukina's safety.

(I have a bad feeling about this! Bryan, Yukina, whatever happens, you must return to this place safely!)

Meanwhile, Leon and Elen will counterattack the Lizardmen.

"Tedyy, counterattack!" Elen told the Wind Spirit to counterattack the Lizardmen.

"Ready, Elen!"

Then, the very large rabbit doll immediately did a round in the water. With a strong rotation it makes a whirlpool that is getting bigger, to make a water tornado. The attack sent the water around him crashing.

After being hit by the attack that the Wind Spirit had unleashed, some of those monsters were instantly defeated!

"Elen, I managed to defeat some of those monsters. But they are still alive! Now it's your turn!" The Wind Spirit revealed the rest - the rest of the monsters that were still alive after being hit by his attack on Elen.

"Okay, Teddy! Now you see this Leon! This is my ability!"

Elen also showed the ability he had to Leon.

"Soul Magic: Soul Manipulation."

A soul magic has been cast! Elen used his soul magic to control the souls of the surviving Lizardmen, after being hit by an attack from the Wind Spirit.

"Soul magic has been successfully used! I managed to control the souls of some of those Lizardmen!"

Elen manages to control the souls of several Lizardman monsters.

"Why did you manage to control those Lizardmen? You're so amazing, Elen! Just this time I saw firsthand the ability of that soul magic!"

There Leon is surprised, and amazed by the ability of Elen who can control the soul of the Lizardman. Even Leon had not expected that Elen, capable of using such great power.

"There are still a few remaining Lizardmen who still have complete control over his body. We must defeat him immediately!" Leon says that, they must immediately defeat the rest of the Lizardmen.

"Leon, we don't have to bother to waste our magic power and energy to deal with the rest of these Lizardmen!"

"What?"

"I will give the Lizardmen under my control the order to clean up the rest!" Elen will make the Lizardmen fight each other.

"O Lizardmen under my control! Clean up all the enemies that stand in my way, with no waste!"

Elen makes an order to the Lizardmen who are under his control, to get rid of the rest of the Lizardman who still survive.

Then, a fight between the Lizardman had occurred! The Lizardman Monster and the Lizardman under Elen's control instantly exchanged attacks with each other.

"Wow, this way we don't have to clean them up, and can focus on finding the place where the King Lizardman and the residents are!" Leon could now focus on finding the whereabouts of the place.

"But we don't know where that place is! Moreover, this was in the water," Ria did not know where the place was.

"I know!"

Leon said he knew where the place was. In this way, they would soon meet and fight against the King Lizardman.
