Chapter 17: The Battle of "D" Class (Yukina & Fang vs. Magma Pyre)

"Yukina, we've been surrounded. How'this?" Fang was a little panicked by the current state of affairs.

"Calm Fang! After all we also have to defeat these monsters," Yukina calmed the panic from Fang.

"But we also have to find where these Magma Village residents are," Fang panicked again at the thought of the state of the residents of this Magma Village.

"Then you don't panic too much, cool your head! We need to finish what's here. Then go find the residents!" Yukina again confirmed to Fang that she should not panic excessively.

Suddenly Magma Salamander immediately let out lava bursts with very hot temperatures from their mouths.

"Full Body Transform: Black Dragonfish."

Fang's power is to change his body shape into a monster. Not only that, he also gained strength according to the change in the type of monster he used. Using the Black Dragonfish transform, it gained resistance capability to hot temperatures.

Yukina and Fang dodged the attacks launched by the Magma Salamanders.

The attacks from the Magma Salamander were launched continuously. However, Yukina thought that if she just continued to dodge attacks from her enemies, then it would be less efficient in combat. Therefore, Yukina immediately froze the attacks.

"Don't get too far from me Fang!" Yukina yelled at Fang as their distance was slightly far apart.

Because of the attacks issued by Magma Salamander, it can widen the distance between Yukina and Fang.

"You don't have to worry about Yukina! I'm fine!" Fang returned a shout from Yukina.

(I can't stay in this place! I have to save the people!) Yukina said in her heart, and worried about the state of the Magma Village residents.

"Yukina, the two of us shouldn't be stuck here for too long! You go! I will hold these monsters. "

"But these monsters are not easy to defeat alone Fang! Moreover, their number is not just one."

"Trust me!" with a tough determination, Fang told Yukina to trust herself.

After saying that, Yukina smiled and immediately went to look for the Magma Village residents.

However, some of these Magma Salamander blocked the road in front of Yukina.

Yukina stared intently at those Magma Salamanders.

"Stop!"

With her rapid movements, Yukina arrived - suddenly behind the monsters.

"You're interrupting!"

Instantly the bodies of the Magma Salamanders instantly froze and shattered into pieces.

"I have to hurry - quickly find them!"

Then Yukina ran back to look for the residents of Magma Village.

Meanwhile, Fang was holding back the Magma Salamanders so that they would not chase after Yukina who was leaving where they were fighting.

"The one who will be your opponent is me! Don't you dare set foot from here to chase after Yukina!"

With courage from Fang, he confronted all of those Magma Salamanders alone.

Then the Magma Salamander again let out a burst of lava that was ejected from their mouths. However, with his transform power, he managed to dodge those attacks.

"Uughghh...." Fang is hit by an attack from the Magma Salamander.

On her way to search for the residents of Magma Village, Yukina thought about the fastest way to find the whereabouts of those residents without wasting any time.

"I must find them soon! I have to find the direction where the air is coming from with a hotter temperature! Because the body of the Magma Pyre produces hot air. Therefore, the direction of this air gust can indicate the location he is!"

Yukina stopped her footsteps for a moment.

"I have to improve my whole senses. With "Magic Sense" I can improve all the abilities of my senses."

Yukina started to close her eyes and felt the air blowing around her.

With his Magic Sense, he clearly sensed the temperature difference from the surrounding air gusts.

"I found it!"

Yukina opened her eyes.

"I managed to find the location of that Magma Pyre! Most likely the residents were there too. And so, I need to hurry!"

Yukina again continued her journey to where the Magma Pyre was and saved the residents.

(Uuggh.... Why is it still hot? That must be because I still can not master the full body transformation perfectly. So, the potential power in my transformation cannot be fully expended.)

"Damn! It seemed like this fight would not be finished easily." a slight complaint from Fang when fighting the Magma Salamanders.

Then Fang ran towards one of the nearby Magma Salamanders. Fang prepared to launch his attack.

"Water Claw!"

The claws of Fang's Black Dragonfish transform lit up in deep blue. Then the claw was struck on the body of Magma Salamander. Yet.....

"Hard! The skin of this Magma Salamander is extremely hard! Even the claws of my transform can't scratch his skin."

The attack from Fang was unable to even injure the body of the Magma Salamander.

"I have to hit him with something harder too!"

Fang will try to transform himself into a monster that has harder skin.

"Arm Transform: Iron Golem"

Fang turned his arm into the arm of the Iron Golem monster. With this transform, his punch power increased from before.

(By my punch increasing, with this I can definitely inflict injuries on these damn Magma Salamanders!)

"Death you! Iron Knuckle," Fang dealt a punch in a row on one of the Magma Salamanders. And with that punch, he managed to subvert 1 monster.

"Yes, I can do it!"

After Fang knocked down one of the Magma Salamanders, their herd immediately rushed towards Fang with their feet and extremely hot claws.

These Magma Salamanders again attacked Fang, they launched punches from the soles of their feet as well as their claws.

"Aaaaarrrrrrggghhhh.." cried Fang.

Fang was hit by the blow. His right shoulder, and his right leg, were hit by the sole of the Magma Salamander. However, Fang's back was scratched from the Magma Salamander, which resulted in a lot of blood coming out of Fang's back.
