The Apocalyptic System

The Apocalyptic System
Prepares

It was June 28, 33 days into the apocalypse.

Kai Axe stood at the dock looking at the four ships connected to the ark and was delighted.

The cargo ships surrounded the ark from all sides with very thick alloy chains connecting the five ships into one, making it quite interesting to see.

It was fortunate that the ships were located in a remote area, otherwise it would definitely cause quite a commotion.

The four cargo ships were loaded with medicines and groceries, heavy construction machinery such as excavators and bulldozers, materials such as steel, and then miscellaneous goods.

All cargo ships are only half loaded to ensure their ability to withstand shocks better. They were all sealed using steel plates to prevent seawater from entering when the flood came.

Making cargo ships completely airtight is the most time-consuming project that has lasted for the past 25 days.

Kai Axe's phone rang just then.

“Hai, Mr.Axe. All 35 sets of high-precision machining tools have arrived, and have been delivered to the dock. Please check and receive the goods “, Walter tells Kai Axe.

“Alright thank you. Keep the boat for a while, and I'll arrange transportation" Kai Axe replied casually.

“Sure,Master Axe”.

He hangs up the phone and tells Veronica to take his things back.

It was already noon by then.

“Ding! Start calculating survival points".

“You have gained 10 survival points for eating food”.

“You have gained 15 survival points for walking as far as 3 kilometers”.

“You have gained 10 survival points for feeding your pet”.

“You have gained 120 survival points for engaging in a special exercise”.”

...

The total number of survival points earned was 280 points.

The total accumulated number of survival points so far is 12,540 points.

He grinned at the accumulated survival points. “The more, the better”.

That means the last increase is getting closer.

Jessica then calls from the dining room, “Kai, Veronica, lunch is ready!”

Kai Axe heads to the window and sees Veronica returning with Worker-2 on the cargo ship.

The ship is docked. The two robots then work on the crane and load the machining tools onto the ship.

With the machining tool right before his eyes, he ate lunch while observing the loading process. He set up forklifts and cranes in the ark area. After 35 sets of machining tools were dismantled, the two robots loaded the 10 sets into the workshop, and the rest loaded onto a spare supplier ship.

Ten sets of high-precision machining tools and military-grade 3D printers are being plastered inside the workshop at the moment. All the important parts were ready by then.

He walked over to the door of the workshop.

“System, I want to upgrade Workshop”.

“Continue”.

“Ding! Enhancement finished “.

A machining tool was added to the room, and the 3D printer was right in the middle, with a central control panel appearing in front of his eyes.

He then had the remaining 12,040 survival points remaining after 500 deducted during the upgrade.

“This is my workshop!” He felt very excited looking at the inside of his workshop.

The workshop would give him manufacturing capabilities in the days after the apocalypse like this.

He no longer needed to feel restless and worried about making any tools later.

He could go look for materials if he was lacking to feel flaws. Material problems are hardly a factor that must be considered after having manufacturing capabilities.

“Wah, this is a super cool workshop that you have here Kai!” Jessica was fascinated with workshops.

Kai Axe walked inward and finally reached central control. He then said to worker-1, “We will start by making one model of a firearm first. Enter the design of the FN SCAR-L assault rifle “.

“As you wish, Tuan”, replied worker-1.

The robot studied and was eventually loaded with all the data regarding firearms that had been released to the public. He was able to learn everything, as long as it was something that was already available on the internet.

Worker-1 came to the central control and entered all relevant data relating to the design and specifications of the weapon. Then divide the material by type and place the alloy on top of the tool.

The machining tool starts working as soon as the material is loaded into it, as they begin working on various parts of the weapon.

FN SCAR-L has 52 parts of different sizes, with the smallest being screws, and all of them are made inside the machining tool.

Making the parts for one gun took 10 minutes. The parts are held together by two mechanical arms when ready.

The entire process only requires the operator to enter relevant data and place the appropriate material.

The two mechanical arms were agile and precise, uniting the SCAR-L FN shortly thereafter.

Kai Axe took the rifle in his hand and was surprised to find that there was actually a plastic part in his grip, making the rifle comfortable and safe to hold by him.

The FN SCAR-L is a derivative variant of the FN SCAR rifle used by U. S. Special Forces, and is known as one of the most advanced rifles worldwide. It has a modular design and can be converted into the SCAR-H, a heavier variant that uses 7.62x51mm NATO bullets. Parts can be swapped to modify them into sniper rifles or to obtain a more compact design for close combat.

Overall, the rifle is an outstanding firearm, which can be modified and adapted easily according to specific needs in different environments.

The rifle made at the moment is SCAR-L, with “L” showing the gun as a relatively light rifle. It weighs 8.64 pounds, and the manufacturing process uses 13 pounds of materials of various types. The rifle fires 5.56x45mm NATO bullets and has a magazine capacity of 30 rounds. It had a rate of fire of 600 rounds per minute and an effective range of about 2,000 feet.

Kai Axe buys one round from System Mall and hands the gun to Veronica. “The gun and round are all yours. You're better off with guns, so try it".

“Sure, Kai”.

Veronica nodded and put the bullet in the gun. He headed outside the ship, turned off safety, and aimed at a target about 100 feet away, which was a short piece of tree near the shore.

He pulled the trigger.

Bang out!

The gunfire rang out, and the short 100-foot tree instantly broke and collapsed.
