No one ever thought. The king of the Sea country is the one we have been looking for. The oil mafia that controls the sand country, the Sabana state vandals, the borunans. Sew did not look like a king. But when I saw him sitting there, wearing oversized clothes. Seems to have been a big plan that Sew had planned all this time. Control the entire country. When viewed in terms of strength, this country is nothing compared to other countries such as the Tropical Rainforest that has Rem, or the sand country that has Was that has destroyed his own country. The Sea Country was only superior in terms of the number of troops.
“Welcome.” The voice greeted with a smile.
“We're here to catch you, Sew. Stop all these plans.” Deni exclaimed stifled. Vigilant. Sew has a deadly weapon. He can kill with just one bullet.
“What plan?” Sew laughs.
“Do not pretend, Sew. We're not here to joke.” I cut that laugh.
Sew raised his hand. “Didn't kids like you guys like to have fun.” Laughs.
Hating that pleasantry sentence. Deni shakes his sword. The twisted scratches slid rapidly towards the more. Sew jumps evasive. Kiani is now broken into pieces. Sew retaliated by grabbing his gun behind his back. Shoot. We jumped backwards. The cauldron is now full of holes. And one more terrible sight, the marble that was hit by the bullet melted.
“The bullet is dangerous, Den.” I'm turning. Deni nods.
Now it's my turn. Gesit ran dodging the bullets that kept coming out of his muzzle, arriving in front of Sew. One punch targets the jaw. Sew bounced.
“Yes!” From behind, Deni clenched his hands. The walls of the room that held Sew's body were cracked. Then I realized, Sew is not a random person. My punch, if it hits a hundred sea horsemen, they're dead. But Sew looks fine. His endurance is incredible.
“With such a blow you finish off my men. Really, I myself never realized if all this time I had a lousy guy.” Sew wiped his mouth. Inching slowly out from the cracks of the wall that submerged his body. Walked closer to both of us.
“Strike him, Den.” My voice is hoarse, nervous. This is the first time I have fought an enemy with extreme anxiety.
Deni had not yet shaken his sword. A bullet came in through the open door. Right about Sew's forehead. “Successful?” We both wondered. Chief Sew looked back, his eyes staring at the ceiling of the room. Tacit.
Deni and I gulped many times. If this was on land, the cold sweat might have been pouring down our bodies.
Non-rigid.
The body that was staring at the sky was chuckling, swaying. The hole made by Nin's bullet slowly closed. Sew has a healing system in his body. It's gonna get more complicated.
“We attack together, Den.” I clenched my hands. Deni nods.
Deni slashed his sword a few meters away from Sew, the glowing slash trembling violently, making the wind on the seabed roar. Again, the slash hit Sew's body. But it only caused a tear in his clothes. The wound that the sword slash made closed quickly before I unleashed a punch. Sew's body again bounced, hit from a distance of three meters.
“Free, young man. Free.” Sew chuckled, rising from the wall that had now collapsed. The debris began to scatter.
The attack is not over. Thousands of arrows entered through the open door. Deni and I had to duck. Thousands of arrows were like bees attacking, gnawing at Sew's body, raining down simultaneously.
“We attack after the arrow is finished.” I whispered softly.
The sight that made the jerry hang back before our eyes. Thousands of arrows, some stuck in Sew's body, some fell on the marble floor. Mountain up. The arrow that stuck it melted like it was exposed to an acid. The wounds he made also closed quickly. Can Sew not die?
Sew stared hard. Now he's bare-chested. His clothes were torn, crushed by thousands of arrows. That small body was actually stocky, full of muscles.
“What are your plans with that interdimensional missile, Sew?” Shem stepped closer. Teach us both.
“You all right, Sem?” Deni whispered softly. Sem nodded.
“What plan? I was just playing around.” Sew chuckles. His eyes are still staring hard. Getting tired of playing around.
“You're not just lying to your people. You said pearl oysters were rare, people were restricted from using their energy as illumination. It was all a lie. You use it for your own sake. You made a missile capable of attacking other countries using a portal. One missile you've launched. I don't know which country has a name. You're not just hurting the feelings of the people of this country. But the whole country will fall victim to your blind ambition, Sew.” Sem aimed his bow, preparing to attack. The arrow inside the arrow rest is only one, or maybe two.
“What ambition? I told you already. I was just playing around. That other country is like a chess piece I can play. I made my own rules. My soldiers can advance more than one step in the opposing area.” Sew again chuckled, his body swaying.
“That's a shame, Sew. I destroyed the missile engine. Your men outside I've finished them off. Just stay with you now.” Shem smiled cynically.
I get it now. That's why Sem's arrow is only two.
Sew who heard the statement actually gasped. But didn't show it. Embarrassed. That's the nature of the cunning criminal. His teeth began to roll together. Angrier.
“Then you will pay for it.” The voice was shaking, angry. Sew put his gun on.
Merciless bullets that come out shoot anything. Melt. The three of us had to keep running away. The building is almost collapsed. Plus, Nin also hit him from the outside with a barrage of bullets and explosives.
“What's with that gun, Jon? Why can't the bullet run out?” Deni asked while running.
“That's an unlimited type gun. The bullet will never run out.” Shem who answered half shouted. The sound of the bullet was deafening. Make noise. The fish outside the building ran away.
Shem took off one arrow. Did not have time to split, even split by Sew's bullet shot. The two parts of the arrow fell onto the marble floor. Shem tried to grab his one remaining arrow, hissing softly. That's his last round of ammunition. While Sew kept shooting, no matter which building he owned it was already like melting ice cream. The roof of the building fell. The three of us avoided. Nin managed to tear down the top of the building.
“Bagun, Nin. Now, Sem!” While running.
Sem threw his arrows over. The ceiling above the building was suddenly filled with swarms of arrows resembling honeybees. Thousands in number. Spirally circling. Swooping sharply towards Sew's body. Looking up, Sem shot at the arrow. One bullet one arrow. Sew's movement is getting faster. He was even able to compensate for the movement of the falling arrows. No arrow fell to the ground before it was split in half by its bullet. If Sew isn't a bad guy, he's probably the greatest sniper ever.
Everyone just looked at wonder. Nin who occasionally helped shoot from a distance was also caught. The bullets never made it to that building again. Just halfway through, fell down with a Sew bullet. Sew's abilities really improved, not only his agile body movements, but his fingers and eyeball movements were no less fast. Not a single long-range attack escaped his sight.
Tired of waiting for thousands of arrows to run out. Sew did one thing he had never done. Imitating Sem style. The bullet that released the muzzle of his gun also split many times. Suddenly, the arrows that were still spinning had fallen. Then the ammunition runs out. There was no way he would borrow Deni's sword again as an arrow. Deni needs a sword.
Silent. Finally the sound of the bullet whirling against the rumbling of the arrows came to a halt. Sew looked towards us. The face was not at all overwhelmed. The muzzle of the gun pointed at the three of us. It's dangerous to get hit by that bullet, even though I'm not sure I can tear our armour. But what about Sem? He is a creature of this world. We slowly walked away. Actually risky. That'll further distance the Sew bullets from the breed.
“What now, Jon?” The same question Deni always uttered in this kind of situation.
I haven't been able to answer yet. Several bullets in one shot targeted the three of us. Succeeded. But without the three of us knowing it, Sew has more ability. The bullet that passed through our bodies came back. Inevitably the three bullets hit our bodies from behind. Sew smiled satisfied his shot hit the target.
“Sem!” I'm obviously worried about the real body of this world.
The three of us were pushed forward. Moisturised.
The good news is that the bullet simply couldn't penetrate my armour and Deni's. Just a little melt, make a meaningless hole. The bad news, Sem fell to the marble floor that had been cracked.
“Sem! You all right? Hey, Sem!” I shouted raucously.
“Freely only. Even if he can survive. That body won't be able to withstand the strongest bullet ever. He'll melt, disappear.” Sew smiled again.
Sem looks up. Sizzling bated. Damnit. His face began to pale. I can't let Sem have the same fate as Hon. I growl. What can I do with Sem? I helped hold the weak body up. Deni's been on the offensive. Sew dodged.
“Continue doing that, Den.” I took Sem's body away from the fight. Asking Deni to distract him temporarily.
Nin's bullet shot. Twice, the bullet hit Sew's head. As before, it only takes a few shocks to make the hole in the head close again. Can Sew really not die? Deni followed the attack, his sword slash was a lot of waste. Even if it hits, the scratch wound instantly heals instantly. Deni wiped his forehead.
While Sem is still weakly drooping. Sayu's eyes. Everything he saw was bright. Not only would the sun have fallen and the lack of light in this place, the bullet that pierced through his back made Sem lose a lot of energy. The longer, the less. Sem hissing long.
I had to leave Sem alone, helping Deni. Assaulting. But that's how it's next. Nin's bullets, Deni's sword slashes, my punches and kicks, none of which gave Sew a meaningful mark on his body. It's like it's all gonna end here. Deni and I took a few steps back, taking a breath. Nin's bullets also stopped attacking. Maybe Nin in the distance there is also stung.
“Are you satisfied with attacking?” Sew manatap cynical. Gun's scrambling. Although the bullet will not be able to penetrate the armor, but with a body that is exhausted like this. The impact will probably be more troublesome than it was.
“Alright, young man. Enjoy this wonderful delivery.” Sew chuckles. That pistiol snout wasn't targeting us. Sew imitates Sem style. Shoot it towards the ceiling. A bullet was thrown. Sliding fast, roaring. Then swoop down sharply like an eagle eyeing prey. The bullets multiply into hundreds, if not thousands. The entire floor in our area started to shake. The overwhelming pressure and energy waves from the bullet swarm were already like angry bees.
I made a shield. As big and thick as I can. Shrink it to the body of Sem who is still lying. Crossing hands. That barrage of bullets hit the hard shield I made. The deafening noise returned. Prominently. One by one the bullets lost energy. But that wasn't the end of Sew's attack. That one or two bullets that hit hard slowly made my shield melt, making a gap for the other bullets. The longer, the gap gets bigger. While the stock of bullets lining up behind each supported a spill. The shield I made finally broke. Unable to be pushed by a barrage of bullets. Not only that, Sew also shot at our bodies from below. Deni tried to hold it with a sword. Sheltering me.
The horde of bullets in the ceiling started to slide down unhindered. From a distance Nin tried his best to resist by shooting bullets. Bullets shoot bullets. One two just clinked hard. It causes sparks in the water. It does not reduce the number of bullets that are ready to hit us.
She tried to stand up. Donning. The weak body crawled. It rests on an arc that switches functions into a stick. The arrows inside his arrow rest were all gone. That means a long-range fighter like Sem is done. His back is starting to melt. His eyes were one. It is very sad Sem. But what is power? It's a battle. There is no time to wail at each other. Sem's hands tried to fumble to his back. I wish there was one arrow. There aren't. Arrow rest is empty. The body kept inching to walk resting on a bow.
I tried to cross my arms again. Making a second shield. But Sew shot me. I fell down and fell a few meters.
“Jon!” Deni. It'sit's okay. I just felt the energy decrease. My body is still intact, not melted.
Nin responded to the attack from afar. Vain. The bullet was shot on the way. Deni trembled clasping his sword which started to melt. His feet were not inferior to the trembling of his hands. No one can talk. All wrapped up in a taste that I don't know, towards the end of everything. What a sad game. There is no joy at the end of the adventure.
A few more meters. The flocks of bullets in the ceiling were raining down on our bodies. Sew wasn't even satisfied just up there. He was aiming for the three of us. One bullet that split into five was ejected. Again, Sem's hand tried to feel his back, his heart hoping deep, if there was one more arrow in the arrow rest. At that time, it was not only the hope of a Sem. Me, Deni and Nin also did not want this struggle to end quickly. We want all these adventures to give a pleasant impression in the ending. No one wants all of Game Over.
At the same time with millions of white arrows capable of wiping out thousands of bullets from Sew's pistol. At that very moment, a bullet escaped hitting Sem's head. The body that had been weak from the beginning was bounced back, bouncing slowly.
“SEEMM!!” Deni and I screamed in unison. No one can resist, no one can prevent. The deadly bullet perfectly hit the head. Shem's body finally lay perfectly on the cracked marble. Me and Deni came closer. Wiggling that almost disappearing body. Nin also ran away from his position, catching up with us.
“A fun adventure, Joni, Deni. Send this sentence to Nin.” Smilingly. I'm trying to grab Sem's arm. Blank. The body can no longer be touched. Disappear slowly. Embracing, transformed into light, flying to the surface like a firefly. Sem is gone. Nin stopped his running, replacing it by walking slowly. Grief filled the ceiling of the battle arena.
Millions of glowing white arrows belonging to Shem managed to finish the entire bullet from Sew's gun. But not just up there. Some of the glowing arrows dived sharply after completing the bullet resistance. Targeting Sew's body. Stunned, Sew tries to shoot him. In vain, this time it was the radiant arrow that was superior. Not firing bullets. Several arrows rained down on Sew's body. Gun's off. The body was already like a living cactus, full of glowing arrows. Even the unleashed gun was perfectly smashed against a single arrow.
Non-rigid. Water bubbles rise to the surface. The light in the ocean is diminishing.
This time the view of the body was terrible. The arrows of Sem light are not ordinary arrows. A body that usually heals quickly after an attack. This time perfectly injured. One arrow of light struck Sew's second heart. It is located on the chest, almost close to the neck. The heart rattled, sparking fire. Broken. During this time, it was the second heart that protected him from any attack, making him recover faster. But Sew's weakness is obvious, nothing is truly eternal.
The second heart is made of a collection of pearl shells that have been processed in such a way. Forged back into a large heart, it infused some of the energy from other pearl shells in the thousands. Makes Sew look like he can't die. But now, Sew is nothing. Just a little gun guy.
I wiped the tip of my eye. Sweeping a view of some shock towards the coral reef. The clumps on it waved, saying goodbye to Shem.
“Your struggle will not be in vain, friend.” I whispered softly. Clenching hands. Come, Sem. Help me do the final attack.
I stared intently at Sew's still motionless body restrained by the arrows of light, his face growling. I put on the horses, my hands clenched, my leg muscles tightened. Runs. Skipped. Release punch. The strongest blow I ever did. The sea water was surging, roaring. The grass in the middle of the reef was waving in one direction. Nin who had just arrived at the location covered his face with the back of his palm, Deni was also similar. The gust of wind pressure was many times greater than my previous blow. Large corrugated sea water surface. Making a giant whirlpool. Fish and other marine animals stayed away. Panicked. The roar of the wind was felt by all the citizens of this country. There had never been a strong wind in the depths of the sea water like this.
Sew bounced, hitting some rock mounds. Move your hand, try to hold. Sew is powerless. Clangorous. Faraway. That body drifted away. The arrows that gnawed at his body were also crushed by the blows. Thumping, vibrating, circling. The body squeaked as it arrived at the end of the rock mound. Hissing slowly, like a hot object suddenly dipped in ice water. Sew stifled. His body was curled up motionless.
Me, Deni and Nin approached the body. Three hundred meters from where it originally stood. Donning. The little body was like a roast. There is no immediate healing, no self-sealing wound, and most importantly no resistance. Sew has lost, along with his ambitions. The three of us stood around that slowly disappearing body. Like a charred crab. Fizzing with the disappearance. Leaving a body in the sand near the reef.
Non-rigid.
The three of us looked at each other. Duck. The sadness is back in the eye. The scene from this game turns out to take on an incredible archer. Nin, even though this was his first fight, still Sem was one of his precious comrades.
“Now what?” Deni's Questions.
I'm silent for a moment. Isn't there still one country we should visit?
“We return to the place when we land in this country.” I said slowly. Deni and Nin without needing to I asked twice to spontaneously move the foot step following. Walk slowly.
I'm fallin. Stool on knees and both arms. My body is tingling. It seems like the big blow I did for a while had a huge impact on the energy in my body.
“You all right, Jon?” Nin held my arm. Worrying.
The sun is almost down at the foot of the western horizon. The light at the bottom of the ocean is dimming. I don't know what's going to happen here at night. Silent. The ocean is mourning. No fish approaching. The ripples of water only sounded faintly from a distance. The bubbles slowly rise to the surface. I rubbed my face. Deni compresses the fingers to the lower jaw. The gills always make him ticklish. Nin just looked around, looking around.
Arrive in the village. Beautiful scenery painted in front of the eyes. The lights in every house are bright. Also on the front page. I don't know how long it can last. We walked slowly, capturing every moment of the beauty of the ocean floor that had only been me and Deni enjoy through tablet and television screens. Forgetting the moment of Sem's departure.
“How do we get to the next country?” Deni asked.
“I don't know, Den. Don't we always get a lead after we've always run out of road? We'll just go back.” I said without looking at Deni's shriveled face.
A local we met when we first landed in the country called out to us as we passed back in front of his house. Asking us to meet. Three, look at each other. Ask each other. Hows it?
“Alright, just a minute.” I decided. Sem is no more.
The three of us stepped into the courtyard of that simple house. The father of the boy looked carefree. The child in his carrier yawned, just in the afternoon, he was already sleepy. The boy's father let him in. Actually want to refuse, but for the sake of seeing Nin who was already lured with an adorable baby in the sling I was forced to accept the offer.
“You better rest here. I don't have any more rooms for you. But it's gonna be dark outside in a minute. You won't be able to tell which coral is and which shark is the killer. Oh, aye. Introduce, my name is Bob. I'm actually a fisherman in this place. But since we were forbidden to look for the pearl oyster and restrictions on catching fish. I'm urung. Temporary stop, hanging net.”
Me, Deni and Nin let Bob tell us a lot. Bob invited us to sit down. No chairs, no soft sofas. We sat on the stone floor. This building was made of carved stone. But it is polished in such a way as to be a habitable building. The floor is also slippery, shiny.
“Honey, can you get three drinks. There are special guests tonight.” Bob exclaims.
“Yes. Wait a minute.” I heard a woman's voice coming from inside.
Deni closed his mouth holding back a laugh. Honey? That's so funny. I elbowed. Deni tried hard to arrange the look of the face so as not to make Bob offended.
Not long. A woman came out, the wife of Bob and the mother of the baby in the sling. Carry one tray with three drinks. Unique indeed. Drinking water in the water.
“Include. This is Bey, my wife.” Bob introduce. We shake.
“You'll stay, right?” Bey asked with an enthusiastic face. Hand out the glasses one by one.
We were silent for a moment. No one dared to answer.
“Aren't you two actually four? Where are the others?” Bob counting.
“She's gone.” Deni answered courageously. Everybody's berating.
“Oh, sorry about that. I-i understand. You are the heroes of this country. But I'm really sorry. You have to lose a friend. All of us, the inhabitants of this country already know there will be a group of young people who stop the silly actions of Sew. I'm sure as hell, it wasn't just me and Bey who watched the silhouette of the fight through the window frame. The whole country is watching it. We only saw the thumping of light, the thousands of arrows in the air, the thousands of twisted bullets, and only did’a for your victory. There's nothing we can help. Sorry about that.” Bob looked down, looking sorry to ask. The baby in the sling was back to yawn.
“Not what.” I responded briefly.
“Please drink. It was a kind of potion that was able to restore stamina. You will feel fresh after drinking it.” Bey smiled cheerfully.
I drank first. There's no taste. Bey said it was a potion, but it was like drinking plain water. No need to comment, afraid Bey was offended. Deni and Nin also drank. True what Bey said, after a few gulps the body feels back fit. This drink quickly permeates the entire body. Replacing evaporated body ions.
“Thank you.” Nin nodded politely.
“No need to hesitate.” Bob returned the nod.
I'm standing. Moving home. Deni and Nin.
“Eh, you guys didn't stay?” Bey frowned, astonished.
“Im sorry, Bey. But we have to get to the next country. And we want to go home.” Deni put on a sorry face, respecting the host.
“But it's not dark outside. That's too dangerous.” Bey insisted on restraining.
“There are many things we cannot explain. But we have to go immediately.” I made Bey hold off longer.
“How will you go?” Bob asked, handing the baby in his cradle to Bey.
“We will use portal—“ My voice is truncated.
“Yourselves don't even know how to open it, do you? You guys don't even know what your destination is after this.” Bob who cut in, stepped closer to the three of us.
We all bowed. Bob's right. No one knows our purpose after this. Even the name of the next country we had to visit was not known.
“See you tonight. Tomorrow, I'll show you how to get to cloud country.” Bob patted my shoulder.
What Bob said. Cloud Country. All gasp. Bob knows the next country.
“My wife is from there. I have a lot of acquaintances. Since marrying Bey. I never opened that portal again. No. gabe. I'm not the one who opened it. But my wife, Bey. He has the ability to do that. We decided to stay here. Look, are you not aware? Only my wife has a different face. Beautiful isn't?” Bob chuckled after his explanation.
Is correct. Bey doesn't have gills like us. But how does he breathe? I don't know. Cloud creatures may have other ways of surviving in the water. His skin also looks more white in this country.
“How? You guys want to stay over, right? I'll prepare dinner.” Bey has concluded. Not to mention the three of us gave an answer, she had run to the kitchen, handed the baby to Bob again. Nin helped.
We decided to stay at Bob's house. Tomorrow, early in the morning. We'll be leaving soon. There will be no celebration, there will be no ceremonial release. It's not necessary. Make what? Unexpectedly, the road to the cloud country was on Bob.
Me, Deni, and Bob talked a lot while waiting for dinner. Also when dinner came. Joking sometimes. Bob told me about his work, about his childhood, about the hard times, about his youth, and when he met Bey, his wife now. Their lives are happy with high intensity. Simple, but very happy. Bob always called his wife with honey, so romantic. Although Deni always keeps his mouth shut holding back laughter when he hears it.
That night everyone slept well. Weary. Bob apologized before, he only had one room. The three of us nodded, no problem. Sleeping in the middle room, as well as the dining room, as well as the living room. That's more than enough, rather than having to sleep outside with a flock of hungry sharks.
The moon shines brightly. But not as bright as the sunlight that gives a little light to the life of the ocean. If only there was no illumination of it, the bottom of this deepest sea would be completely dark. A beautiful night with bright lights in the houses. A firefly tub that is stopping by. The day after tomorrow, the locals can already find as many fish as possible. No more authoritarian governments, no more prohibitions on this and that. And most importantly, tomorrow morning, we will head for the last country. Cloud Country.
