CHAPTER 7: Thumping

Six months did not feel that Valen and Anjelina had passed in their studies.

During those six months, there were certainly many obstacles that they faced. Starting from the behavior of the Julid gang who still bothers both of them and also the Nathan who still continues to pursue Valen.

The day Valen graduated from college and earned his college degree. The graduation ceremony went smoothly, of course, attended by his family and the family of his prospective fiancee, the House family.

One week later, Mrs Wangsa took Valen and Kein to her boutique to make engagement dresses.

Valen and Kein head to the boutique in a car and are interspersed with small talk.

"Where are we going to order clothes at the boutique?" ask Valen with his pot.

"We are going to SIS's Boutique dear, mama has made an appointment with her owner" Kein said gently as she smiled at her loved ones.

"Oo well if it's a boutique aunty choice must be a nice dress there," Valen replied.

SIS's Boutique is indeed a subscription to Kein's mother, because the boutique is standard Go International and the works of this boutique are very good and no doubt the quality.

After arriving at the front of the boutique, Kein parked his car and went out and circled his car and opened the door for Valen.

"Please go down my princess," Kein said as he extended his hand.

Valen grabbed Kein's hand and got out of the car, not forgetting his sweet smile. They walked hand in hand with their mesra.

"Good day, ladies and gentlemen, please introduce me to Candra, the owner of this boutique. Madam Wangsa has told you to come, come with me to my room," said Candra to invite her guests.

Enthusiastically the owner as well as the boutique designer showed off some beautiful dress designs. They talked about asking a few things about the dress.

"So how's this dress, am I pretty wearing it?" valen asked with sparkling eyes.

"You're pretty wearing whatever baby, '" said Kein as she gently stroked Valen's hair.

"Hehehe sister could have," Valen replied with a shy blush.

"Well, you're a good couple, when's your engagement?" ask Candra Takjup to the lovers in front of her.

"Three more months, a week before the event we'll come pick up the dress" Kein said.

"Alright Miss and Master, can stand for a while because I will measure your body," said Candra while taking the meter.

Valen got up from his seat, and Candra began to measure Valen's body. After that it was Kein's turn that measured his body. When close to Kein's body somehow Candra's heart pounded very fast. It's never been like this before.

"What's wrong with me" said Candra.

Then he quickly measured the body of the man in front of him. His burly arms, his sprawling belly, his tall and filled posture, plus his extremely handsome face when viewed closely made Candra a heart sport at the time.

"My master and Miss are done measuring, is there anything I can help you with?" ask Candra kindly.

"No. If you need anything, just tell my mom. He will take care of the rest. When we're done, we'll leave. Come on baby," said Kein while holding Valen's hand.

"Look for Miss Candra, if you'll excuse me" Valen told Candra.

The woman nodded with a smile and drove the two lovebirds to the front door of the boutique.

After finishing the engagement dress business, Kein and Valen continued their journey to the city's famous Jewelry store.

As the two entered the shop, the waiter and the shopkeeper graciously greeted them.

"Welcome, ladies and gentlemen. Lady House has chosen some ring models for you." The store owner showed off several pairs of rings with diamonds and silver. Judging from the shape, it is certain that the price of a pair of tiny objects is fantastic.

"Please choose Mister," continued the owner of the store.

"All aunty choices are good, I want to choose which one brother. It's better for Kei to choose, yes" Valen said with eyes still staring confused at some pairs of rings in front of him.

Kein's hand grabbed a pair of rings. A pair of rings that look simple but a mixture of pure silver and diamonds makes the look of the ring so magnificent and luxurious.

"Simple but looks luxurious. Kei's choice is the best" Valen said with sparkling eyes staring at the pair of rings.

The man smiled, then handed the pair of rings to the shopkeeper who still faithfully accompanied them, "I chose this one."

"Okay, sir," said the store owner, then measured Valen and Kein's ring fingers, so that the ring they bought was comfortably attached to their fingers.

After that Kein decided to take Valen home. But it turns out to choose the design of clothes and engagement rings, enough to make their energy drained.

"So I'm hungry" Valen said spoiledly staring at Kein who was focusing on driving.

"What do you want to eat?" kein asked a glance at his lover.

"Just brother," replied Valen.

"What about chinese food?"

"Not ah I'm bored, just another one yes," Valen replied with his face.

"Then what do you want to eat?" ask Kein again.

"WHATEVER!" reply Valen.

"From woman," grumbled Kein.

Hearing Kein's words, they laughed.

"I'm just kidding, my dear, let's go to Chinese food" Valen said.

Hearing Valen's words made Kein even more anxious with his chatty mouth. He smiled and ruffled the hair of the girl next to him.

They arrived at a Chinese food restaurant. In their spirit they order their favorite food. It didn't take long for their order to land safely on the dining table. Both of them gobbled up the food happily.

"Kak Kei, tomorrow the day after tomorrow I will vacation in Bali with Jeli. Is brother coming?" valen said with a mouth that was still cool chewing food.

"No, I'm going to Paris tomorrow. You have fun there and don't be naughty!" Kein's orders while looking at the girl in front of him who was pouting.

"Then I'll come to Paris!" the cry is on Kein.

"Can't!" he said and got a sharp look from Valen.

"Hemm.., after we get married I'll take you on a honeymoon there. Stop looking at me like that, like you're just gonna gobble me up!" he continued while pulling Valen's nose.

"Alright, brother don't be naughty there either! Just be careful if I find out you're having an affair, I won't forgive you!" threaten him with ketus.

Kein smiled amusedly at the threat of his little girl, "yes baby I wouldn't dare."

They then head for the return journey, and Kein first takes Valen to his residence.

Finally they arrived safely at the Bramasta House. As Valen was about to get off Kein's car, the man stopped him, "didn't I get a warm hug and a kiss? I'm in Paris for a week, aren't you gonna miss me?"

Valen brought his body closer and hugged Kein tightly, "i'll miss you so much."

The man returned Valen's embrace tightly, then he loosened his embrace. His hand covers the two cheeks of Valen who met red.

"I love you."
