They say someone wants him dead.

At least, that's what the ghosts in this room have been saying since fifteen minutes ago. Throbbing head. Horrible flashes revolved in his memory like broken tapes. Actually only one ghost had sworn him dead, while the others agreed easily after being glared fiercely.

The ghost claimed to be named Clo. His arrogance is not playing. He was sitting upright in the only chair in the room. Chin up, legs up, back straight. His style is like royalty. The ghost is very much alive, it does not stop discussing the allegations of his death later as if they were all his own hope. Just this time Rai was depressed because of the speciality of his eyes.

Rai doesn't know this ghost. He was sitting there when he woke up. His robes and clothes were strange, but luxurious, definitely not an ordinary person. Rai was dizzy to hear him blabbering and cursing, as chatty as his old friend.

Clo grunted rudely. "You hear I'm not?" Rai ignored. "Let me tell you one more time, you'll die if you don't believe me! Stop acting deaf!"

Nah. Rai deliberately stalling for time. I don't know how long he's been lying down, almost his whole body hurts. There were no wounds, but the lawyer was begging for mercy, and his head was broken.

He was knocked when he just opened his eyes. When he realized this place was unfamiliar, his reflexes surged up with a combat-ready position and scanned the surroundings. Tenyata Rai fell out of bed.

The room was lit by candlelight, somewhat dim, but his eyes caught everything clearly. He thought he was at the scene of the massacre with the enemy kicking him in the face, instead of in a sizable round tent. As his memories gathered, he dropped his butt on the creaking bamboo bed bearing his weight and heaved a sigh of relief.

His large, watery eyes scanned the room, finding a sword on the table. Beside him, a wooden statue and armor stood upright. Other than one chair and table, as well as a wooden bed, there was nothing else. The rest of the room was left empty. Outside, conversations, shouts, and chants, sounded extremely noisy. Apparently, they brought him here.

His gaze shifted to the closed entrance of the tent, wondering if someone was going to enter or did he have to go out looking?

"Still not answering?" The ghost is impatient. Rai almost forgot about it. "You can offer a deal, I don't mind anything you ask."

Rai was concerned about his pretentious style. Maybe during his life he dreamed of becoming the son of the sultan. "Listen yes," he said tired. "Whatever your request is, I'm still not interested. Dead, yes, dead. Just find someone else." His body and face were sticky by sweat, he needed to take a bath. And hungry.

Clo gave him a contemptuous look. "You don't even know what I want!"

"What do I need to know?" This ghost is stubborn, chatty, and annoying. Rai wants to kick him out as soon as possible. "From your face, I can guess easily: you regret dying young and want to finish something you didn't have time to do in life. Sorry, I'm not interested in helping you."

Clo's surprised. "How do you know?" Rai rolled her eyes. The ghosts at home ask for the same thing until he gets bored. "There's something I have to do, you're right" he said seriously. "But you're one thing. I don't need your help with that, I need you for something else."

"Yes!" Clo's cold gray eyes stared at him. "Someone took my body! I want you to take it back for me!"

"..."

"Return life! I have to get revenge!"

"..."

"Are you listening?"

He should not have given her a chance to talk. He should have kicked her out since. Now, Rai was at a loss for words. This ghost is crazy. LUNATIC! Where does anyone come back to life after death? Why did this ghost ask her for help?

Suddenly something hit his stomach.

Rai looked down at his own shadow swaying, then at the foreign body that now belonged to him.

Uh.

Also true. This body should belong to someone else. He had nothing now, even half his soul had been swallowed up by the darkness.

How dare he curse Clo as if the greatest in the world? The phenomenon of rising from the dead is indeed a taboo thing to talk about, but not too impossible either.

How could it know? Of course, because he should have died.

However, Shade brought her back.
