Cring, the elevator door opens to the destination floor.
"Finally there." I can breathe a sigh of relief.
I got out of the elevator in a hurry.
"Why did the man keep following me, maybe he lived on the same floor as me." I tried positive thinking,
"Aren't all the residents on the same floor as me all female." I just realized it.
"When it's 21:00 outside guests can't come in unless it's urgent, so who's the guy who keeps following me?" my heart was pounding, "Silence Dilara, calm down." I took a slow breath, trying to calm myself down.
Suddenly the man who was following me pulled my hand, and my hand reflexively parried his hand.
Not thinking much longer, I reached into the phone from my pants pocket and I hit the number 1.
The man kept walking after me.
With the road half-running I bring the phone closer, my gear hope the person I call answers.
"Help me, I'm on the 6th floor no 4." I spoke half in whisper.
He tried to snatch the phone I was using, but it didn't work.
He kept following me to the doorstep of my unit. A few more steps I arrived at the door of my unit, after until I directly pressed my unit password and entered.
In front of loby.
Not thinking for long Selim who got an incoming call on his phone, immediately rushed down from the car and ran towards the 6th floor.
I sat down behind the door of my unit, only to realize that my phone was still connected.
"Hello Dilara?" I heard a voice coming from my phone, "What happened?" He was still talking, "Why are you quiet?" he asked, "Are you okay?" he's never stopping talking, "I'll be right there, don't hang up." Now no more sound from my phone, only the sound of people running.
He took the elevator to the 6th floor, a few moments later to the 6th floor. His eyes meticulously searched for unit number 4, it only took a few seconds for him to find a pin written number 4 by reflex he pressed the bell.
Once the bell rings, I don't want to open the door. He pressed the bell the second time, but I didn't open the door either.
"Dilara, are you inside?" he stuck his ear to the door, "Open the door, it's me." He screamed and looked like he was going to break down the door.
I finally decided to open the door, but did not dare to show myself the trembling.
Behind the door, I tidied up my slightly messy appearance in panic and wiped away my tears that had dripped.
"I'm fine." I spoke while hiding behind the door, only my head was visible.
"Are you okay?" He looked at my face, "But the look on your face showed that you're not okay." He was worried about me.
Selim tried to push the door open a little wider.
But my hand held him.
With my legs still limp and hands trembling I spoke behind the door.
I'm really fine" I lied, "Nothing happened, I was just a prank."
"You're not lying, are you, Dilara?" Selim doesn't believe my confession.
"Do you know what it means for a woman to ask for a man's cell phone number first?" I fooled him again, "That's a prank, just as I do it." I said.
"So now you go home, I'm sleepy, I want bobo." I also pretend to yawn to convince.
"I'm sorry I've been on a prank, jd I managed to make you panic." I smiled trying to melt the atmosphere.
"Do you think it's funny?" Selim shouted, "Is it funny to make me have a heart attack?" Selim smiled disappointedly.
"Are you angry?" I pretended not to accept, "I've apologized, so it's up to you, you have the right to be angry." I resigned,
"I go in first, when I tell you, okay Selim." I go and close the door.
After waiting for a while, I opened my door again to make sure Selim wasn't at the door.
"Selim is no longer there at the door, it seems like she's gone "I feel relieved.
Even though I regretted lying to him. I felt like I was really going to have a heart attack, but I didn't mean it that way, I didn't want to worry him.
