Dinners.
"Cup, cup. Why did you lie to my mother?" Selim kissed me twice just above my lips.
"Selim what are you doing? what do you mean, I lied to your mom?" I don't understand what he's saying.
"At your reaction now shows that what you told my mom was a lie." Selim tested me.
"Em.." I can't answer.
"What are you admitting? but it's too late now, I take your words to my mother seriously." Selim.
"Do you not feel that you are selfish, irritable, pushy, and possessive?" i'm upset.
"I'm like that, you need to know that I need you and you should always be there for me." Selim smiled cynically.
I sat on the sofa playing the phone regardless of Selim's words.
Selim followed me and immediately laid her body on the sofa where I was sitting, with her head on my thighs.
"Selim, am I a pillow?." I was shocked and upset.
Selim, who was still lying down, spoke to my face, "you're caught now, if you've never dated"
"You mean? are you trying to taunt me?" again I could not answer.
"Have you ever been together honestly? so that when I kissed you and now I'm sleeping on your lap, you feel awkward." Selim smiled with satisfaction.
"Indeed when dating should always be as you say?" I have my own principles.
"What's? what did I say? you want to say what I said?" Selim.
"I'll go to the toilet for a minute." I walked to the toilet.
"Dilara, where are you going? you don't avoid." Selim keeps teasing me.
When I was in the toilet, a message came in my phone.
Selim was curious, peeking at what the message was about.
At 20:00 tonight I, Diana, and April are going to the bookstore, are you coming? Dikra also comes.
Selim was shocked to read the message, it was sent by Jihan.
When I got back from the toilet, Selim was sitting and playing with his phone.
I read the incoming message from Jihan and replied to her.
"Bill tonight we're dinner." Selim spoke with his eyes still looking at the screen of his phone.
"Later in the night." I was shocked to hear Selim say.
"Yes tonight, will you have an appointment tonight?" Selim says.
"Later at 20:00 I have an appointment with Jihan and the others to go to the bookstore." I explained.
"We leave for dinner at 19:00, and I'll take you to the bookstore. You just met at the bookstore." Selim gave advice.
"OK agree." I'm happy.
"I'll go home first, I'll pick you up at 19:00." Selim.
Selim left the apartment.
Selim's deadline to pick me up is one hour away, after doing the magrib prayer I get ready.
"I wore a maroon longline knitted dress, brown ankle boots, and a brown sling bag with my usual hair tied" I saw my appearance in the mirror.
I took the initiative to wait for Selim in the parking lot.
"Tonight I intend to give Dilara a ring, hopefully Dilara likes it and takes it." Selim smelled a silver-colored three stone ring that he was holding.
I decided to wear a white t-shirt, denim jacket, and jeans.
Once everything was ready, Selim set out for Dilara's apartment in his KIA car.
No need to wait long, Selim's car came, I got into his car and we left immediately.
On the way in the car.
"Tumben you've been standbay in the parking lot, have you been impatient with dinner with me?" Selim smiled teasing me.
"If we don't leave soon, I'm afraid of going home, I have to go to the bookstore first." I explained.
"So who makes you impatient, want to go to the bookstore immediately, who will you meet there?" Selim ignited my emotions.
"I'm going to meet Jihan, Diana, April and the most important thing is that I can't wait to buy a book that I like and I want to read it right away ." I'm trying to calm down.
"I also like to read books, when we go to the bookstore together." Selim says.
Eventually Selim and I arrived at a restaurant, Selim and I entered and sat in one of the chairs.
Waitress is approaching us both.
"You're the one who ordered, I ordered the same thing you ordered." Selim says.
"Bak I order teriyaki sausage, sweet sour chicken, fried capcay, custrad pudding, and lemon tea, for two." I ordered.
"One more thing I asked for mineral water." Selim added.
"Okay, please wait for the order." Waitress was going to prepare what we ordered.
Shortly after our order came, Selim and I ate it.
"Why do you eat in such a hurry? are you hungry?" Selim was surprised to see the way I ate.
"I'm hungry Selim, I'm sorry if I eat with no courtesy." I said.
"Why are you glancing at the clock? are you afraid of going to the bookstore late?" Selim suspects.
"No, how good the food is, do you like it?" I switched the conversation.
"Lumayan, maybe it will taste better if you cook." Selim.
"When I cook for you, but I'm not good at cooking." I said.
"Okay you promise. You look so beautiful tonight. Will you meet someone special?" Selim.
"So yesterday I wasn't pretty." I teased Selim.
"Yesterday you're not pretty right now." Selim tried to be funny.
I don't think Selim and I have finished all the food on the table. When I glanced at my watch the time was 20:25. I have to get Selim home soon.
"Selim let's go home, you're done eating? I'll go to the bookstore tonight." I'm nervous.
Selim will take the ring out of his pants pocket and intend to give it to me.
"Leara wait a minute." Selim's keeping me away.
"Let's talk later, it's too late. Later Jihan and the others waited too long for me." I forced Selim to come home soon.
"Because I pay the bill first, you wait in the parking lot." Selim was disappointed not to give me the ring.
Selim and I went to a bookstore not far from the restaurant we were eating at.
