With a cold hot feeling I went to my former underclassman's birthday party, when we went to the same private university.
Even though we are not as good as it is, but I am with him already very familiar, even I have considered him my own sister.
Today is Saturday, February 21, 2020.
I'm 25-year-old Dilara Shafiya, first time going to a party.
My office friend advised me to wear a dark blue halter dress, wear high heels, and have to growl hair, if you want to look elegant like a rich kid.
"I don't believe in my friend, why does it have to be dark blue to look elegant?" I was wondering, though,
"But how else should I wear my favorite peasant dress?" i doubt.
"I could have picked out the clothes I was going to wear myself." I kept thinking.
"But I know for myself my former underclassman from a wealthy family, there's no way I'd come up with a regular appearance, which I'm the center of attention." I felt an inner upheaval.
Never mind I have to stay in and give this expensive gift to my former underclassman.
And not long after that I found my former underclassman Juwita Salsabila who today is turning 20.
"Happy birthday dear sister." I'm geeking and giving her a gift.
"You are so beautiful, so dear, may you live a long life and may the lecture be finished soon." I said a little prayer for him.
"Thank you, my dear brother, for coming to my birthday party." Juwita smiled happily, But the bad brother is just like me." Juwita scowled at my appearance.
"Sister is confused and also curious, what makes brother said evil?" I said, "Is it because you only gave me one gift?" I'm trying to tease my ex-classman.
"Bad brother. Wita's a birthday, but sister's prettier than me." Juwita pretended to cry by rubbing her eyes.
Juwita called her own name by the call of Wita.
"Maybe they're with another guest again." Wita was confused and only realized that her father and mother were no longer there where they were standing.
"Have you eaten?" Wita rubbed my cheek, "Sana sister taste the food first!" Confiscators
diverting conversations.
"Alright, sister will just sit there." I pointed to a table at the very back and left Wita.
About 5 minutes I sat down, there was a male voice coming from the side of the chair.
"Is this chair empty?" he pointed at a chair.
"It's empty, you can sit.
"Can I sit here?" he asked once again.
I'm nodding.
Finally after getting permission from me, he sat right next to my chair.
After I saw the clock in my hand, I felt like I had to go home, because the time was already 21:00.
As I was about to get out of my chair, he asked me.
"What are you doing here?" he glanced at me, "Do you know Wita?" he started the conversation.
"Wita was my former underclassman at university." I answered the question in a half-standing position,
"I'm sorry I have to go now." I left him to go outside.
Arriving outside suddenly there was a drizzling rain. As I was about to run away through the rain, suddenly someone pulled my hand from behind.
