CHAPTER 2: APOLOGY AND CHARADE
Ray and Cindy only heard the sad news of the accident experienced by Abel an hour later. The two quickly headed to the hospital that Cindy's family had called over the phone while delivering the news.
The meeting of the three families, between the Abel, Ray, and Cindy families in front of the ER room could not be separated from the look of anxiety and fear. They all seemed unsettled waiting for the results to be delivered by the doctor after examining Abel's state inside.
Thirty minutes had passed, but the doctor still had not appeared out of the room in the room, causing more worry in the minds of the family, especially mama and papa Abel. Mama Abel also did not stop crying in the arms of her husband who continued to try to calm himself.
The arrival of Ray and Cindy who were a bit late, made the tense atmosphere slightly melt away. The two pale faces that had just joined them could not hide the fear from each other's minds.
“Ma, how? Any word from Abel, Ma?” cindy's trembling voice rang out, as soon as the girl confronted her mother.
“Where are you from, son?” her mother immediately asked her questions about the delay in her daughter's arrival. Her mother was shocked when she felt a chill on her daughter's skin, as Cindy clasped her hands.
“Cindy scared, Ma. Scared.” Her body trembled violently, even the girl felt that her legs were no longer able to support her body. Cindy looks like a depressed person now.
“Not you guys left together this morning.” Reveal mom Cindy, invite attention and ask the whole family.
Cindy's body suddenly sagged down, making the whole family more anxious and then approached her with a questionable look. Cindy becomes frank that the problems that arise come from her.
“What's up, Son?” ask mom Cindy can not be separated staring at the guilty eyes of her daughter. Then her mother's views change on Ray which implies a similar view to her daughter's.
A story actually also slowly, all the causes of the chaos between Abel, Ray and Cindy, and the sudden accident experienced by Abel on his way home. The story drowned the whole family who listened intently. The two families who have supported Ray and Cindy to unite. And causing disappointment from one side of the family. Mom and Dad Abel.
Papa Abel sighed heavily and kneaded the temple which became dizzy. Papa Abel has not said anything, so it increasingly invites a tense atmosphere in the hospital corridor. Papa Abel does not want to blame any party, Papa Abel is well aware if he does not have the right to forbid a pair of humans to establish love.
“We're on Ray and Cindy's side. It's just sorry, Om hates the way you guys behind us. Please do whatever it takes for both, but please. I ask earnestly not to treat Abel like a beggar of her love Ray.” Disappointed, Abel's papa reveals his heart now, purely, a father's instinct for his daughter.
“We purely do not know Mas, Abel has the same heart Ray.” Mama Ray looked sorry. “If you knew, we would have taken care of his feelings.”
“Cindy tau, Om. Cindy forgets herself, Cindy so selfish not to think about Abel.” feelings Cindy spoke up quickly and described the regret in her heart. The girl continued to show her remorse, begging that om and her aunt would not misunderstand.
Papa Abel nodded softly, patting Cindy's shoulder gently, as if conveying he understood with regret his nephew. Papa Abel won't blame and justify anyone here. But he was already disappointed in their behavior to his family, especially the unfair treatment of his daughter.
“Please apply normal after Abel siuman. Don't you look at pity. I'm worried, Abel offended.” Pinta papa Abel sharp, on all who are there, including his biological brother─papa Cindy.
The atmosphere between them was suddenly mute until the doctor came out of the ER room. Those waiting anxiously outside, hearing carefully the doctor's explanation conveying the state of Abel should be moved immediately to the operating room. It broke the hearts of Abel's parents.
Abel's situation just now increasingly triggers the situation to become pointed, especially the feeling of a mother's destruction, the emotional turmoil of mama Abel to the family of Ray and Cindy. Since that day, the three families' close relationships have been strained and strained.

Abel's smile shimmered slowly as he opened his eyes, seeing that his mom and dad had been waiting on either side of him.
The girl had just come to her senses and she saw herself lying weakly with an infusion hose in her hand, in a medicine-scented room and all around; there was a set of sofas, a refrigerator and a television as well.
“Abill accident, Ma.” His voice was hoarse and weak when he said it.
Her mother nodded slowly while rubbing Abel's hair gently. Calm his daughter. “Abel must be healed, son. Abel still has to rest now.” Her mother spoke softly.
“Iya darling?” his papa's voice was like a whisper.
“Sister Ray equals Cindy where?” he asked, because he did not see both. Making his mother and father look at each other with eyes that Abel did not understand.
“Later they came.” Her mother answered. Sounds not happy.
Abel nodded in confidence. “Abel wrong.” Regretfully. “Egotistical items. They like each other, Abel should know.” His words bitterly, following the clear layer arising in both corners of his eyes, then flowed sluggishly through the skin, until it fell right into his ears.
“Udah, focus on your health aja.” Pinta mama, deliberately divert the subject. Mama Abel is still sensitive to hear Ray, Cindy, and her second family. But Abel's mother was confused by her daughter's reaction, Abel shook her head slowly, refusing.
“They should have a healthy relationship without Abel's thoughts again.” The girl said seriously. Although it still feels difficult to take off Ray, but Abel was determined to be unanimous with his decision. Bury the man who rejected him and stay away from both.
Abel's wish had made her parents look back at each other, both of them agreed to give in and listen to Abel to ask Ray and Cindy to come to the hospital a few days later in the morning. Abel's parents deliberately buy time to choose Abel's condition a little better.

That morning came. When Abel's outpatient room door was opened, Ray and Cindy had been there.
“You want to stay there?” Abel smiled warmly welcoming Ray and Cindy, then asked the two to come closer to her.
It seems that the two people are awkward with each other being nearby, instead the attitude is relaxed and full of smiles, then flanking Cindy's hands suddenly, making the two people look at each other. Wonder.
“You are the most compatible pair.” His voice sounded loose, his eyes sparkling staring at Cindy and Ray alternately.
“Lo... no amnesion right?” ask Cindy seriously. Not just any talking. It's just that he doubted Abel's attitude that suddenly changed.
“Gue is better. Why the hell are you guys? Awkwardly so.”
Ray's mind was split upon hearing Abel's reprimand. “Ngak. It'sit's nothing. How are you feeling? Are you feeling better now?” abel stared straight at her, as if looking for honesty from the look of the girl's eyes.
Abel nodded. “You don't have to be that awkward anymore. Don't be clumsy with me. Relax aja.”
“Abel.” Cindy was not happy with Abel's behavior.
Abel exhaled loudly, then clasped Ray and Cindy's hands tightly. His eyes spoke solemnly, looking far ahead. “Gue asks.. start with the normal of your relationship. I don't have to think about my feelings anymore. I don't want to be a thorn in your relationship. I don't want to be labeled as someone who... make your relationship is not peaceful.” Then he looked at Ray and Cindy. “Yes? Pliiisss.”
“Lo... like gini..”.
Abel immediately cut off Cindy's sentence. “Gue kayak gini.. on your own will! I know you guys are destined to be one. Why should I judge? Very melancholy I.” She laughed a little afterwards. Making Ray and Cindy look at each other, both increasingly feel guilty, but Abel quickly understood the condition of both. “Didih, what the hell are you guys? Don't look at me. I feel sad tau.”
Suddenly Abel instantly felt Cindy's hands clench over her shoulders, hugging her tightly with a feeling of relief accompanying him.
“Thanks Abel. I don't know what else to say lo.”
Abel was bearded while patting Cindy's hands. “Iya udah.” He said he'd calm Cindy down. Then he meets Ray. The girl released a smile on the man she still loved, even to this day, as she had made the unanimous decision to let him be with her cousin. He was held desperately the pain that had hit his chest since earlier. Only in that way, he could continue his life calmly all the way to the front. Even if he had to sacrifice his own heart.
