Bastian and the doctor went straight to the laboratory to perform a kidney matching examination on Tania. About an hour into the examination, Bastian finally came out. He went back to Tania's room, he saw Tania who was sleeping in her sleep. Bastian looked at Tania's face with pity, he gently stroked Tania's hair and set aside some of the hair covering Tania's face. But it woke Tania up.
"Bastian? You just came back?" ask Tania
"I'm sorry I woke you up" replied Bastian
"Why so long? Am I not allowed to go home yet?" tanya Tania frowned
"By my love, today you can go home. But you have to do the examination first. We'll just go home." replied Bastian smiling
"really? Wahh finally I can enjoy the air outside the hospital" Tania said happily
Bastian who saw the pleasure on Tania's face also smiled.
Three hours passed, Tania had already done some checks. And after it was stated that Tania's condition was stable enough, Tania was allowed to go home. As Tania and Bastian get ready to tidy up their belongings to go home, the nurse suddenly comes to them and says that Bastian is waiting in the doctor's room. Bastian left Tania and immediately rushed towards the doctor's room.
"How did the doc result?" ask Bastian
"Sorry sir, your kidneys don't match Tania's" the doctor replied
Bastian breathed a rough sigh.
"Okay doc, I'll get a donor for Tania soon" Bastian said
"Yes sir" replied the doctor
Arriving at home Bastian invites Tania to sit on the sofa. Bastian told all the truth the doctor said about Tania's kidney condition to his wife. Bastian tried to strengthen his wife with all the inner support. Tania who listened to the fact that her kidney condition had deteriorated was crying sadly. He doesn't know how else to live if the only kidney he relies on has also started to deteriorate.
Tania only nodded by wiping her tears.
"I'll always be by your side, you take it easy. I will never leave you." Bastian wiped Tania's tears
"Thank you, Bas, I'm evil to you, but you still want me to be rich. Sorry to bother you with my sickly condition" Tania said
"Hushh, I'm your husband. Although I do not love you yet but I as a husband will accept all your shortcomings, I will always be there for you when you are happy or sad, when you are healthy or sick. So don't ever think I'll leave you." Bastian said
Tania smiled at Bastian, not expecting Bastian to be so kind to her. Back when Bastian was with Cantika he was so rude, Tania knew all about Bastian's treatment of Cantika. But somehow after losing Cantika Bastian's attitude completely changed. He became a gentle man, not as hot-tempered as he once was. He can hold his emotions in any situation. Though Bastian should now be angry with him because of the incident the other day when Tania confessed to his intention to hurt Cantika. But Bastian was kind to her, always by her side when she was sick. Maybe Bastian was just doing a husband's job, but it really touched Tania's heart. But with such attitude Bastian makes Tania really reluctant to let go, despite not loving him Tania is grateful to have a husband like Bastian.
A week passed, Bastian was always looking after Tania. About diet and taking drugs, Bastian always reminded. The food Tania eats must also get Bastian's approval. Even to clean up the house was Bastian who did it after work. Bastian did not want to make Tania exhausted because it could trigger Tania's health dropping.
"Tan, what are you eating?" bastian asked a little angrily who was cleaning up the dirty dishes.
"Emm that was memen I played here and ate seblak. I didn't eat kog, really." Tania answered lying.
Indeed, unbeknownst to Bastian, Tania often eat spicy foods at home when Bastian work. Usually he immediately washed the dishes or the former place to eat spicy foods. But that day Tania forgets about getting Bastian's phone. During this time Bastian monitored Tania through a video call, whenever there was free time Bastian always made a video call to see what she was eating or what Tania was eating.
